Looks like it from Warmachine University she's Merc. I think most Riot quest stuff that's not a clear stand in for a faction is Merc.

It's Warjack Wednesday, that time when we update you on the latest news for Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika! Today we have an important announcement for backers of the Skirmish and Full Battle Force reward levels, and something fun to share from the future of Warcaster.
Progress continues with the first shipping wave and we currently anticipate having everything in the first wave shipped before the middle of next week. However, it has come to our attention that the Weapon Pack A sets that were bonus rewards for the Skirmish and Full Battle Force reward levels did not make it into their shipments. The warjacks will still have their normal allotment of weapons and if you Added-On an additional Weapon A Pack, it should arrive in the first shipment, but the bonus rewards were omitted by mistake. As all backers of these two reward tiers are receiving at least the Weapon Pack B bonus reward in the second shipment, we will be sure to include the Weapon Pack A with that shipment as well. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and we will endeavor to have the next wave out as soon as possible. Wave 2 models are already in production and we will be rolling right from the first wave into the second without delay.
While we previewed a lot of new models coming in the next expansion wave for Warcaster during our 2020 keynote, we still have quite a few new model designs to reveal. Below is the concept artwork for an upcoming Wild Card, Corebus, and he's not a warjack!
A fugitive consciousness on the run, Corebus is a former Empyrean aeon sympathetic to humanity's plight. Having escaped Cyriss Prime, he claimed squatters rights over a dilapidated labor robot to house his soul essence, and has pledged his support to the Marcher cause. Now with extensive self-improvements, Corebus lends his strength and knowledge to the Coalition of Free States. (For size reference, Corebus will be on a 40 mm base. Can be included in Empyrean and Marcher Worlds forces.)

Is that a bedroll on his back? Why would a soul housed in a machine body need a mat to rest on?
Other than that odd bit the cloak adds to the tacticool factor for sure. Everyone knows caped and cloaked mechs operate better than regular ones!
Like this guy!
Corebus will be in good company.

Soldiers tend to put their gear on their vehicles. I would imagine someone just slapped their bedroll onto him. I like the idea of Warjacks carrying gear for the troops they're assigned to. I'm going to need one of these guys.

I think the most likely possibility is that it's a picnic mat. He probably has a picnic basket as a weapon option, and some special rules for sitting down and having a relaxed meal.

Perhapse its an honoury awarded cape from the Marchers representing their respect after a great feat he performed. Or it was worn by a close and loyal friend who fell in combat and he wears it to this day as a reminder.

I was just thinking about how with season two of Riot Quest every faction will have representation in the game, along with nearly every major race of Immoren.
Still no sign of an actual Infernal or Skorne though- they're still both represented with proxy races that serve them (humans and titans respectively).
Impressive the breadth of characters they've got in the game now!
Widget is a Riot Quest model with Mercenary rules. For the most part, she's another cheap generic mechanic whose flight gives her some solid protection and mobility. In Mercenaries, she can make a jack fire an additional shot, which makes her pretty invaluable for her cost.

DOCTOR MYRA HURST
For this week's preview of the future of Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika, we'd like to introduce you to an upcoming Wild Card Hero, Doctor Myra Hurst.
Doctor Myra Hurst is a gifted theurge and humanity's foremost expert on the nature of Arcanessence. Despite hailing originally from the Iron Star Alliance, she has a number of contacts within Empyrean space. The esoteric nature of her work has brought her into conflict with the Alliance's bureaucracy, which considers her something of a rogue agent and sometime asset.
She works for the Alliance and Empyreans.

I really dislike it as well, but with paint it probably looks fine. The pose is pretty janky and proportions are weird, but she is a significantly augmented human and also isn't 2D by design Mostly though wanted to say that I dig the ISA jetbike, and jetbikes in general. I need to watch some batreps of Warcaster, I'm still interested in the game and its cool to see it grow beyond what we were shown initially.

It is a possible future of the Warmachine universe. Some visual design elements may feel similar to Infinity, but I reckon that's partly because Infinity is simply the most well-known "clean" sci-fi miniatures game out there (as opposed to the various flavours of dark and dystopian sci-fi such as 40K and Dark Age). After all, Infinity itself borrowed heavily from anime and other sources.
Besides, it's mainly just some of the infantry that are in a similar style to Infinity. Take a look at the warjacks, warcasters and even many of the solos and I think you'll find they are quite visually distinct from anything in Infinity. Take for example:
Plus I haven't heard anything about the actual fluff or rules reminding anyone of Infinity either - although I haven't gotten around to reading them myself, so don't take my word for it.

I beg to differ. There's something pretty unpleasant about the particular form of sexualization between organic and inorganic bits, and I think that the render gloss isn't helping, but the whole design looks like some creepy fantasy (not in the genre sense of the word). The fantasy (now in the genre sense) aesthetic of showing off the semi-nude torso starts to look really strange in a big power armor suit that also needs to show as much of the character's torso flesh as possible, except underwear or a sports bra or whatever, which have become structural. It's not inherently worse than a lot of fantasy designs, but the proportions and dramatic division between armor and skin do something to it to make it worse. PP's chunky, misproportioned, exaggerated, cartoony aesthetic sometimes hits (I still have a soft spot for many of the early warjacks, and the troll line was a blast to paint while I played) and sometimes it misses (for instance, this one, where it makes an already awkward design worse by exaggerating material contrast).
I assume this is some of what you meant, Oxayotl, when you said creepy? Apologies if not.

I've seen the error of my ways! Thank you! Criticizing a model's exaggerated and hamfisted continuation of a tired trope that resulted in a model that looks like if you tried to turn a pinup into a 90s action figure definitely is equivalent to hypocritically taking pleasure in enforcing laws by censoring a woman's right to self-representation.
I guess I should apologize to the render for oppressing its self-representation by denying PP the right to publish the model when I so moralistically campaigned to prevent its release.
