Nope. Can't say it.
I never liked the DOWNgrade kit they got, so as far as I'm concerned they haven't had models since the awesome 2nd ed metals (the recent "reboot" mini is amazing, but hardly usable for an entire squad).

Hah! I love the visual. Not sure how viable that'd be on the tabletop, though. They'd be more expensive than your average Guardsman, but still with just lasguns... hmm. Maybe jump-pack Tempestus Scions, or similar...?

The guy at the back clearly also has a plasmagun.

Besides, Guard don't need jump packs as long as their officers can shout at normal troopers to run faster than aircraft

I think in 4th, or 5th, I ran Cybork Grots, they cost a fortune, but I LOVED my grot army.

Battlefleet Gothic, Mordheim, a proper version of Man O' War, a proper version of Epic, Warmaster, Inquisitor (at either "28mm" or the original 54mm scale).

There may be others, but those spring to mind as missing Specialist Games.

Some of the ork superheavies from Epic would be wonderful to see in 40K. So many fun, silly options that would let them fill the heavy vehicle gap that's currently in the ork lineup. If they're dead set on making the stompa garbage.

Wait... huh. That _is_ a different warrior kit, with a prime. When did that even happen?
I honestly have no memory of that being released.

That said, the difference between the new warriors and the raveners (or the old warriors) is not very much. Mostly just a super crappy paint job.

I mean those are a given...box exclusive minis are the worst business practice ever.
I'm still waiting for those 3 big chunky boys from the Kill Team Rogue Trader and the Chaos Ogryn from Blackstone Fortress Traitor Guard sets, as there is nothing comparable out there.
I also only bought the CSM start collecting box BECAUSE of the exclusives, even though it turns out that I am happy with the whole purchase, but that is a coincidence and wouldn't apply to the other mentioned boxes here.

Speaking of Nids, I'm going to give a controversial one -- upscaled Hive Tyrants/Carnifexes. Those two models are incredibly iconic and bada** staples of the army, and size creep has left them looking less intimidating than they should. I guess I'd be okay if they kept the scale the same, but amped them up in the rules... either way, both need to be truly frightening.

Then of course, there are some Nids with perfectly beautiful sculpts that are nowhere near as scary as they need to be... but we don't need to talk about that...

I think it would be nice to see update in size termintor models. But other armies need their stuff update more, so I am in no rush for new stuff.

if GW made a personal teleporter interceptor character, it would be really cool, but for that GW would need 2 years developing it and making a new GK codex .

For Orks:

Looted wagons. I want russes, I want grav-tanks, i want all of 'em! It would be perfectly sensible to let them run as orks, for the same points, with ork ballistic skill and no special rules. sell more codexes, get more cool ork models, it's all winning.

Battlefortresses. Again, GW's sales team obviously didn't notice the drop in sales for baneblades when Orks lost their skullhammas, battlefortesses and the like. seriously guys, Ork players will build it all out of your kits anyway, just give us some rules!

Stompas need a hefty price adjustment and rules going-over.

Squigs, Squiggoths, and all the other lovely monsters! Orks should be breeding the biggest, scariest beasties from any world they find, and using it to kill dem 'oomies! I'd love to see a Feral Orks section for Orks which would add some squiggoth variants, and maybe some other beasties being ridden, Ork Dok Experiments of modified Orks. Perhaps call it an "Ork Outkasts" supplement with mad doks, deranged meks, cyborks, squigoths, cybork squiggoths, super-orks, etc.

I don't really want to see upscaled - Tyranids are a nightmare to pack as it is with all the big things

That said one thing I do see as a potential opening for future revamps of the Tyranids is the size of arms and limbs. I've really noticed how chunky scything talons and such are. Compared to many blades and swords from other races the Tyranids are running around with railroad metal rather than scything blades. I could see them get a huge reworking whereby Gaunts become thinner and more, well, gaunt; whilst some of the more chunky would then appear properly "thick and big" without even much of a size update.

Personally I reckon Hive Tyrants and Carnifexes SHOULD get a size boost. But I'd be happy to see other things like Exocrines or Haruspexs shrink to counter it.
As mentioned, they really should be the scariest things the force can put on the table.

This might be my bias to old Epic scale showing, but I disagree - Exocrines and Haruspex were larger than both the 'fex and the Tyrant back in t'day, and should stay that way.

Pretty happy with the Tyrant's size myself. For the carnifex, the size isn't really the issue, its more the pose and overall look.

Its time to accept that its a bottom-tier monster, so should be one of the smaller ones. But the current design is... eh. Though a lot of the newer designs are worse, imo. GW rarely makes tentacles and squiggly bits that aren't giggle-worthy.

I agree, the Carnifex used to be the biggest, but then again the Dreadnought also used to be the biggest. I don't think they need scaling up because we already have those bigger things. Instead we have two models that are smaller, but shine because they can be jacks of any trade rather than the bigger beasts that tend to specialise far more so.

When you put a fex on the table people fear it; but they should be cowering when you put an exocrine or haurspex down.

I love the size of my Hive Tyrant right now, it fits into the image of a compact, extremely dangerous, commander figure that 'lurks' on the battlefield but is still monstrous enough to rip a man apart without a second thought. Stuff that gets big starts to feel more brutish.

Also, bigger size means bigger base, probably more powerful melee weapons and wounds count. It would be harder to maneuver and cost more points.
