Nothing yet but the retail release isn't until the 14th so I wouldn't expect to hear anything until then.

I really hope the Knights Expansion gets a wider release, Gamestop has completely screwed up the preorders and way oversold it, cancelling a bunch but also allowing people to buy 6 which, of course, are on Ebay for absolutely rediculous prices.
On the bright side, finally got some friends all together in person Sunday and chain-ran the first 7 quests with my mostly painted set, still as unbalanced and rediculous and fun as ever! Really had a blast, but you absolutely need other people with you to laugh at the bad dice rolls and cheer on the crazy shenanigans. Did a few missions on the app solo when it released and while it works, it just isn't a very good game to play solo, very dull and annoying without others to laugh at/with

I'm glad folks will be able to get this retail, but I thought Pulse items could only be bought if you got into the campaign - that was certainly why I backed it, thought that was the only way to get it.
Is there a way to know if other upcoming pulse projects will be available to retail (some statement I must have missed?). I'd like to get my hands on the upcoming Skystriker, for example.

I for one am glad we can buy it retail. I didn't even know about the kickstarter until well after it closed. That would have been rotten to not be able to get any of these items except to pay the ebay price gouge value.

The HQ campaign specifically marked certain figures as limited exclusives (Ragnar) and bonus (alternate hero sculpts, all the Mythic tier bonus unlocks). If you bought it in the original campaign then it was $149 for Mythic vs $125+$32+$32 retail+expansions AND you also got a LOT more content: the alternate sculpts for heroes, additional heroes, alternate monsters and extra quest books. Some of that might eventually also hit retail, but some were specific to the campaign. So much extra was included in the Mythic pledge vs the retail release I don't understand how anybody could be upset with it, and even if you only got the base game Heroic pldege you still got the additional alternate hero sculpts+Ragnar for cheaper than retail ($99 vs $125)
As for knowing what hits retail and what is limited to Pulse preorder campaigns, it appears to be completely dependant on the campaign. Knobody knew if HQ would hit retail or not, I'm guessing Hasbro had no idea how popular it would be and it only got a retail release BEACUSE of how well the campaign did

I think Heroquest is the only thing to go to normal retail after being a Pulse campaign? Other things like Transformers Unicron have only been available thru retails who funded a batch during the campaign.

I suspect the 'deal' with the (failed) Spanish KS company so they could sell this in Europe as well probably had an influence on it coming to retail
i'm not sure that they'd have done it if they didn't have this wider market to (that had had far less contact with the pulse campaign)

Gamezone is still quiet. I wait for a few days and then go to PayPal to get a refund. I sent them a message but no reaction whatsoever.
I did give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe a bit naive, but now I will make sure I get my money back through PayPal as it does not look like they will come true on their promise again.

Retail release is now the 25th so I’m willing to give Gamezone until the end of February before I do a charge back. PayPal give you 6 months so plenty of time yet.

I totally agree, you have every right to laugh and point fingers
But I did learn something, and that is why I am planning to refund my extra payment before the expiration date. I want the game and this risk was worth it instead of paying 100+ euros for the base game. I now have a chance to get it for 20, as the previous pledge I already lost anyway. And if they don't deliver, I will get my 20 euros back and no harm done. If they keep this up, soon they'll lose their Paypal account too if they piss too many people off.
@DaveC; Thanks for the info. Didn't know it was extended to the 25th. I thought Paypal refunds was within 3 months, but 6 months is much better. I don't have as much patience as you, when I hear nothing before the end of January, I'll issue the refund. They frefuse to respond to mails as well.

Yup this is what I am doing too, just put a reminder in my calendar to get the PayPal refund if there are just tumbleweeds at that point.

Bit of an update on the Gamezone exchange I sent a message to see if there is an update on shipping they responded that they are waiting for Hasbro to dispatch stock from China and it should take a month for them to get it once dispatched. At this point that probably pushes it out to the end of March - PayPal refunds are good to May so it depends how long you want to wait I’ll give it time - what else can you do at this stage.

I got the same reply.
It still all sounds a bit fishy, because with that statement they can drag it maybe long enough to let the refund window expire.Furthermore I find it strange that Hasbro would send the Gamezone copies from China, although the normal retail copies are in stores already. You would imagine that, as it was noted in November, that Hasbro would send all copies at the same time.
I am getting a bit fed up with these guys.I think I will just ask for a refund with Gamezone and if they don't do that, initiate the Paypal refund option. I'll keep you informed how that goes.

well the deal was pretty last minute, the games were probably ordered (and produced) well beforehand, so if they gave gamezone a bunch of them they could have been shorting others especially as Europe was opened up as a market by the deal so ordering more from their Chinese factory for gamezone, plus whatever stock they moved to Europe from the original US order would have made sense (still worth keeping an eye on your paypal complaints closing date though)

Even if you go beyond the Paypal refund window I think you can still contact Paypal for a refund, you just have to present the information very clearly to them. So do keep all communications that you get. At the very least if things go poorly you can present your case to Paypal.

I canceled the order at Gamezone the 24th of February, as I would expect crickets everywhere, while they responded fast at previous enquiries with excuses. I issued a refund through PayPal, and must give Gamezone time to react and refund, but I highly doubt this is the case.
Then I'll escalate it to Paypal, I suggest everyone who ordered the Hasbro game would do the same as history repeats itself from 2014 with the stalling tactics.
I'll keep you informed.
