I like the shrine and the bolt-thrower but blade guys helmets are not to my taste.

I'm overall impressed with them so far. Blade guys, eh. Maybe a helmet would help.

This re-imagining of High Elves just doesn't appeal to my eye. It all looks either corny or a neat idea that in execution is a swing and a miss.

Really wish the twins weren't a single model. Love the Swordmasters. Kinda sucks if you bought the first Lumineth book.

Love the Lumineth stuff. I don’t usually care about the scenery kits but that Temple is gorgeous. The cover art of the new book is much better too (annoying as I haven’t long got the one from the Lumineth launch box).

Start of last year, the boxed set came out right just as Corona hit everywhere.

That said this new book is basically what Chaos got a few years back; an udpated beefy addition to the Battletome, but where all the new details are in the campaign book so you only have to get one. If you've already got the Lumineth book no need to rebuy it so soon.


I have to say I REALLY like the new Lumineth. I think its really rounded out the army very very well. They are a very very tempting force now.

Yeah that’s good, but this cover is much better, so I imagine I’ll get this too (plus everything in one book is much easier).
