On the Heresy front, I think one big selling point for it actually is that it's not constantly recycling/renewing rules and there is more of a stability. You're not buying an expensive book and having it made invalid a couple of years down the line.
Reading through a chunk of FB community posts, the overwhelming consensus is that 'rules are fine, thank you very much' and anyone that suggests HH 2.0 is going to be based off of 9th edition rules, rather than a tweak/update of the current ones, gets hit with a barrage of, shall I say, 'strongly worded' comments.
Instead, there is a very strong desire for a new plastic starter box along the lines of Calth or Prospero. I think most people realise that was instrumental in growing HH, as it allowed you to play without having to buy the expensive FW resin units (even though most people that play the setting find those desirable).

You get a new Tyranid model but it's dead on the base of Primaris Cassius.
The harsh and somewhat funny / ironic truth to this statement is somwehere between amusing and discouraging.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units." Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?" Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?" GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!" Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

I think a HH starter with a HH rule book and a bunch of Marines thrown in the box would be pretty good - even if it wasn’t new MK2 sculpts.
Throw in the same contents of Calth with a HH rule book and you are off to the races.

It'll be interesting to see if those two new Slaanesh models make it into 40k too, given their current fluff is heavily AOS-based
40k will probably be more of those feralish Orks, maybe a few sisters and of course some sort of Primaris. Emperor's Children would be nice but I doubt it.
Mystery day is probably plastic Horus Heresy that was rumored

They better, their models are way to awesome.
After the Soul Grinder and the Mutalith Vortex Beast oozed between systems for no apparent reason, nothing would surprise me anymore.
Returning to the topic, this mystery on the last day is interesting. A BB team, Delaque reveals, and maybe something for AT and/or AI covers the Boxed Game side of things.
A Q2 roadmap for 40k would be nice, especially if it extends into the start of Q3, but I'm not going to bet the farm on it.

Unless it happens to be separate multi-part kits of very specific character models (gravis captain from 8th edition), or a suppressor multi-part kits, and even more unlikely, Black Templars supplement and primaris for those, I do not see it happening.
Maybe a special edition lieutenant for the joke of it if nothing else, but no, nothing, especially new kits/models/rules... I honestly think we are good for new kits/units and rules until 2023 at the earliest for primaris.

Lol. They are their cash cow. You are basically saying GW hates money and doesn't want it...
Yea right. Not going to happen. It's not even question of do players need them or not. It's about does GW want to push button "print me some money". If they don't produce more marine models their profits would take a nose dive.
They do marines because they are the cash cow and give them biggest profit.
The box game night be more in-depth look at BladeSworn(I believe that’s the name), the Warcry/Warhammer Underworlds mash up that has been seen. Maybe with more info or an expansion to get it a big splash.....unless it’s US only.

Primaris replacement for the Storm Raven with option for a techmarine or lieutenant as pilot.
Well, Zakus Suppressors still aren't available as a stand-alone kit outside the Vanguard Start Collecting box (just as a couple of CSM kits from Shadowspear/CSM Start Collecting, tho ...)

I feel like any potential Chaos/EC wouldn't be previewed until later this year, assuming they're coming, just because the moment you show any EC people start obsessing over an inevitable Primarch release at a time when GW is going to want everybody laser-focusd on AOS3.

A codex road map is my number 1 hope for this. Just let me know if I can start looking forward to a new codex or just continue waiting, waiting, waiting......

Eh. The last time they pulled out a road map it was just DG, DA and 'Xenos' (and waited ~a week to acknowledge that it was dark eldar).
If they do it at this stage, it'll just be Ad Mech, Sisters and Orks, which seem like 95% likely to be the case regardless of official word or road map. We've just seen too much of the latter factions for something else to pop up. (And Ad Mech was spelled out before the delay).
If we do get something else, it will be a nothing release (in terms of models) like Dark Eldar (and really Ad Mech). I guess the schedule is fethed enough that Imp Knights could be in there with just a codex, considering they got their DLC already in the Warzone book.
Though I guess they could pull a Lumenith or Hedonites and backtrack to SM, Necrons or DG, and release something new for the factions that were already done for 9th.

But if you mean waiting for Chaos Marines, don't see it happening any time soon, definitely not close enough to be on a roadmap. Going by the rumour engine, tyranids are closer, maybe even Craftworld eldar. Haven't seen any sign of anything spikey or Warp-related beyond Be'lakor.

You forgot Codex: Space Marines *NEW* *NEW* *NEW*
For real though I think we just going to see ad mech codex reveals to cover their various releases, sisters codex to encompass all the new models and ork codex to cover the snaggas/ Not-boys-but-not-primaris-orks.
Its possible there be a new thing though. Id suspect as its split over 2 days they would cover two factions day 1 and two factions day. Sugetsing theres something else but who the hell knows.. Not really expecting it.

Doubt they show admech much if any seeing it was supposed to be out in aprii. Besides all ad mech releases is the character which they showed already. It wouldn't be much of release.as is sunday will be almost quaranteed "admech for preorder next week" announcement as it is. Preorders restart 8.5 and with what else gw would start if not release they had already said comes in april?

I would put HBMC on ignore since half the comments are nonsense like this, but the other half is genuinely useful contributions.
Admech would be out by now if not for the preorder delay. Sisters and Orks are next up with model releases. Daemons at most need a couple Herald variants kitwise, and ruleswise they could throw the raptor dogs in so they can use the untamed chaos beasts box for plastic furies.
Unless there is another kit in the works, they could throw knights and chaos knights out together
