It looks perfectly fine, maybe a head swap if you don't like the helmet but that's easily remedied. Some of you guys aren't happy with anything, I swear lol. The IV Squig and the cyborg wheelie grot are both great touches.

His head and power claw (and the way he's holding it up) are a call back to one of the old 2nd ed painboy minis.

Who knows if he won't simply come with an alternative head option.

Indeed, the original inspiration for Mad Dok Grotsnik (though Andy Chamber’s one was slightly converted with a flip top head)

Why does he have a Caduceus painted on? Isn't that (human) greco-roman symbol for medicine?

I like it. I like it a lot. Best new Ork model so far IMO.

Yea, I remember that guy.

Maybe it's the paintjob, but to me this new head just looks... weird.

It's a very strange design that feels like it will lend itself well to some freehand 'on the face' of it.

I do wonder if it might come with an alternative head?

I love the grot. I am very unsure if I like the canid legs on the ork.

There is recent precedent with the Deffkilla Wartrike and it would be highly welcomed if GW offered alternative bits more frequently.

The Orks have been copying the Imperium since they met them. Mega armour and Dreads are the most obvious examples.

Looks like an Ork that took the bionic arm off of an Iron Hands marine then thought maybe they had a good idea going...

I like it. Also as painboss, new hq option? Cyborks could still exist, as a unit upgrade per painboss like trueborn or bloodbrides now.

The symbol for medicine is the Rod of Asclepius which has a single serpent.

The two-serpent symbol is associated with Hermes and is a symbol of trade and commerce, but is often mistakenly used in connection with medicine.

I really want a full unit of Robogrots now.

At least 1,000.

I'm conflicted with the Wheelies.

- On one hand: wheelies.
- On the other: missed opportunity for a grot riding on a regular squig.

Yes. I like him a lot. I always thought the "mad-scientist" aspect of the Orks held so much potential. I'd love to see all kinds of crazy Mad-Doc creations!

At the end of the article they seem to suggest Zodgrod Wortsnagga is making a comeback. I approve.

I actually like the impractical helmet for an Ork.

Maybe mistakenly? I just knew it shows up with medicine on occasion, not least in the US military and the US surgeon general.

Very cool! As for the Ork modifications, those go right back to the old 1st edition source books - think it was 'Ere we go', which was pages and pages of bits and modifications of Orks, the 'gyro stabilised mono-wheel' being one of those! Apologies for the watermark on the scan image.

Really cool that they are capturing some of the retro, more fun side of Orks from the earliest editions.

See these bionic legs are cool the ones on the model and the fact you cannot see his head makes him look like anything but an ork. Take away the Squigs and you have any mutant demon thing you can think of. The back pack things is a mess of elements too.

After looking at what 3rd party been releasing for orcs in space lately GW needs to put its A game.
