We technically got "two" last week, so maybe they're skipping a week?

Confirmed none this week on last week’s blurb.

They could at least given us a shot of an old sprue

Maybe they ran out of pictures of new things like they ran out of weekly W+ animations?

Happily, the picture of the red and black Knight shows there are other bits you can replace the birds with. And a very different head piece.

Lucky. Mine is feeling hyperactive at the moment. There's a lot of cool stuff this year- I thought I was safe after the EO & KT chaos marines and eldar (wasn't overly impressed with any), but wow, no.

At first glance it seems that way, but on closer look you realize the bird on the abominant's right shoulder has its mouth shut.

It’s the one on our right, the knights left shoulder.

So are that random birds just aggregating on a large moving structure because it inexplicably has tree branches growing out of its metal hull, or is the Knight intentionally growing tree branches to accomodate its birds?

While I'm not gonna deny that, I'm pretty sure those bits and head piece are just from the regular ol' Chaos Knight kit.

I don't know why but it's making me think Kill-Team. They don't seem to mind releasing KT stuff independent of codices.

It looks like it's sitting on a skull. A vaguely equine skull to be precise. I'd guess some sort of Ghoul baby. Something Death related at the very least.

Yeah the warcom article specifically mentions them. Interestingly, the war hounds have at least one, but that’s probably just ornamentation
