That's a possessed isn't it?

Look at the size of the skull on it's back, it's Daemon Prince sized

Either it's a tiny skull or the cables on the backpacks are 5x the normal size, it's an odd combination of scales either way.

Cables are known to expand in size under the warping influence of chaos.

The rivets are also eyeball sized which seems chonky in that case, but not long until we find out, were it not for the skull I think it'd be even more confusing. The exciting thing is we weren't led to expect a prince so it's more than anticipated.

Leakers aren't people annoyed at GWs business choices, they're self serving prats looking for clout. After how bad the leaks have been recently I wouldn't be surprised if GW stops doing preview products. People didn't stop being mad at GW either, this site proves that every day.
The leaks so far have served no real purpose but making people annoyed and perpetuating the cycle of negativity. Instead of getting the full and accurate picture we have pages upon pages of people getting angrier and angrier because someone decided to leak random parts of a Codex.

The copium here is off the charts.

Goes beyond that, I think.
Its the 'News & Rumors' forum. If people don't want information, they can... not come here?
Its the most bizarre place for spoiler complaints yet, let alone dictates on how other people have to enjoy previews.

Love that DP. Hate the squat.

Roadmap doesn't feel like "preview event" material, it should be model reveals. And what's the betting they lump in some coverage of the upcoming videogames

Weird how regular Posessed easily dwarf the so-called "Greater" Posessed in that case

Any reason they can't? Rumours are greater possessed don't exist any more. Likewise the silhouette of the mortal possessed looks the same size as a current greater possessed.

Might explain why Greater Possessed are supposedly gone from the codex? Or maybe it is a new Daemon Prince that the big model leak missed. We'll know soon enough.

I really don't understand the coat on that Squat. Why would they think that was a good idea for the model when they're already wearing big bulky void armour?

If the armour was more like Grendelsens or Gunnsteins, then yeah it might work, but not like this.

Actually its pointed out elsewhere that could be a female squat- which makes sense and I'm totally happy with! Looking forward to the full reveal later.
I don't mind small leaks like these ahead of the big reveal later - I do think its cooler to let GW have the full reveal without it being spoiled.

Why does a Librarian wear his wizard's robe over his fully enclosed and bulky power armor? It's just one of those things that make a model more 40k. Given the lone Squat we got earned some comments about being generic sci-fi, I'd say that's hardly a bad thing.

The robes on Librarians, Chaplains, Dark Angels, tech priests etc or the coat on scion commander looks fine despite being over their armour, this just seems odd with their bulky round void suit.

Can I claim a "depends"? I'll form an opinion on how it looks on the actual models when I see good pictures of them, but I will say I thought it looked decent in that artwork of space dwarf playing Tron from the recent fluff article on Warhammer Community.

I think it's a matter of execution more than principle, even on a bulky void suit worn by a short person.

The robe on that artwork looks fine, it's just this trench-coat thing on the biker that seems strange.

Without seeing the whole model, looks more like a bomber jacket than a long coat.

I don't necessarily disagree with you (like I said, opinion yet to be formed), but note how it's not a trenchcoat so much as a fur lined jacket and pilot cap like on a WW1 pilot. It may actually fulfill a function as an identifying uniform rather than a dwarf deciding to protect the void suit's paintjob from bad space weather. I think there's a bit more going on than we can see from that partial image.

But, of course, to each their own.

Some people don't have a lot on and that preview will be the highlight of their day (appreciate that sounds like a slow day by most standards), they might pop in here to have some excited pre-chatter or whatever and not expect to see the contents early. Suddenly they don't have the thing they were looking forwards to any more. It's not most people but I do understand it for a few.

Haha. I get it, but I recommend exercising self control.

There will be spoilers on Dakka and if you know that these spoilers will sour your excitement for the live Warhammer Fest reveals... stay off of Dakka until after GW is finished with their thing.

It's literally that simple.

I do not understand how seeing what you want to see early (and do not bring up film comparisons, or book comparisons, because those are narratives - not individual, unchanging models) can damage the experience, but there is a level of fan brain which I legitimately cannot fathom.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

But see there could be no way that new reveals for a hobby people like and use to get away from the drudgery of work, bills, the insanity of the world, and depression could possibly be a highlight of a day.
It would utterly stupid that people could actually enjoy their hobbies and look forward to seeing new things in a preview.
Shame on you for thinking people should be allowed to enjoy their hobbies.
