The command squad was indicative enough that they were not in it for the great consul / charachter set...

So. Legacy pdf drops today, presumably.

It was slated for "July" on the HH3 roadmap. And doing something publicly announced for "July" on the 31st of July is already peak evil corpo behaviour.

Or maybe it doesn't drop on the last day of July and we'll know that they lied again and they're still writing all the squatted unit rules that were always going to be there

Especially after the Tartartos power fist fix was listed as part of the emergency Legacy announcement article, then came out in the Errata

Probably cements Legacies as not coming out in July, and GW missing the very first target on their roadmap, not a month after it was published.

Probably also cements the big list of units and options coming back in Legacies as a panic response to a failed launch and not something that was planned from the start. You're welcome, apologists.

Oddly, the Acastus seems pretty common- about half the FLGS I go to have one painted up in a display case as part of a knight army advertising a painter or such

Both Porpyrions could be had from China back in the day for 65% off, that's how I got mine, FW quality. Printers are equivalent too though I haven't printed one yet myself yet. No guarantee this guy bought FW.

Hopefully the legacy delay is because they are adding double pistols back in as an option for despoilers and volkite for breachers, among other options since cut.

As more fuel to the fire, here's a 110k subs influencer saying the Legacies pdf was originally 7 pages before the damage control protocols were enacted.

Every member of the Titan Owners Club have smug smiles on their faces right now...

But on the bright side, GW needs a Chocolate Hobnob to entice us Knight players into 3rd edition...and they need to one-up the Cerastus kits of 2nd edition. And that Chocolate Hobnob will be in the form of...a Chocolate Hobnob - sorry - I mean a chocolate Acastus. Plastic.

Plastic Acastus, of course. Yes, the Doom Turtles are going to show up in awesome new plastic kits with their new carapace option of a Chocolate Hobnob packet launcher. War in the 31st millennium will never have been so choc-oaty and House McVities will lead the charge.

So you think GW would use counterfeit models for in-house promotional material because you think an employee of the company wouldn't be able to buy them?

Hate to break it to you big dog, but GW staff get a discount on everything, and if they're HQ staff the FW store is literally on the same premises.

I’ve seen Adeptus Titanicus models on the Warhammer Community website which had Vanguard Miniatures components on them. Of course those pics were quickly removed as soon as some other folks within the GW team figured that out!

They've had that look since the very moment you required a FW CoA to get in. Some of us have Titans older than some members but they exclude Armorcast/Biasi Titans to guarantee they can smell their own farts.

Going back 15 years or so, gaming associate of mine had an army on display in WHW made almost entirely of 3rd party bits, basically a Heresy army just as the books were first coming out and a niche community was starting to grow.

I assume now though that the tolerance has probably gone as 3d printers are so prevalent and that sort of thing is much easier to do (you no longer need to do your own 'garage casting', which was beyond the reach of most hobbyists).

I have been in group orders for Chinese recast items with GW staff. Staff discount isn't THAT good.

Just something to point out in the further hilarity that is the truly awful editing on HH3 books, multiple examples of Destroyer iconography are shown in the Legion colour palettes in the Core Rules.

Destroyers. A unit that had been removed from the game and which only Space Wolves have a unique variant of with actual purchaseable models.

Exceptional work GW editors.

Pretty much already confirmed that Destroyers are DLC in an upcoming Journal, so umm... yeah your complaint is silly.

I'm hoping for Destroyers to be a release alongside Mk 4 armor, with the extra pistols and rad weapons part of a mk4 assault squad like how mk 2 assault is giving chain axes.

There was plenty of stuff to choose from, I found it funny it was from units that got dumped to legacies.

Also since when was it "pretty much already confirmed" beyond "oh we'll add stuff in journals"?
As far as I'm aware the only confirmed stuff is like six variants of Saturnine stuff (and the jump character).

Gotta agree with Gert here. Nothing concerning Destroyers has been "confirmed", and the fact that we have to hope that they are covered in payed DLC, is in fact, disgusting.

I mean at this stage with all the sales and with your point torwards winters it's pretty conclusivly underselling.
