Progress:
Time ran out, need few touchups, backpack piece is unfinished (damaged during gluing), the gluing was difficult and left fat seams, that I have to embrace and work around and resolve somehow, no time to sculp the base, no time to fix the lightbox, not time to take the pictures.
Luckily next work trip will be closer to home and I will get pictures taken by the end of the week, God willing.

Note:
1 - These models are difficult, you want to glue them in and fill the seems before priming but the undecuts makes painting hard, or paint them separately, but then struggle with the glue and have visible gaps.
2 - I fit and glue the models slightly bit higher into the base, that allows me to sculpt a bit of something into the base without damaging or ruining already painted areas that are touching the ground.
3 - Painting thin layer of GSW (Intensity Ink orange) or think layer of GSW (True Blood) on top of the red holster pops the colors super much into vibrant red.

Thank you so much! The bases are starting to look smashing, using another metalic paint for the linework now which makes the dark gold on the horsearmor actually stand out better (its not that visible on the pics I noticed, but I'll really focus on making sure it can be seen on the final pics)

I really like the colors on the cape you just posted btw, thats some nice grainy blend.

Nice stuff! Digging that Falcon and the old Chaos models. Makes me want to roll up a few warrants.

Time's getting short. Here's a lack of progress pic.

Weekend should make a (hopeful) big difference.

Your lack of progress pics are far more progressed than my own! Looks awesome!

Agh. I'm also hoping for the weekend to save me.

Currently sat outside listening to Dire Straits and painting as quick as my little brush will go.

Great photos from everyone so far.

@captainbrown - Wow! Absolutely fantastic, I love that Alaitoc colour scheme and you really nailed it.

Nice work everyone. Be sure to include what topic your entry is with your final pics, and a title for your piece if you want.

Running out of month. If anyone has any ideas for the 101st July comp next month, now would be a good time for them.

My first thought was to go academic. Introduction 101. Is that just an American college thing? Where courses are numbered, and 101 is generally the basic intro class.

Considering we're going into something fresh after such a milestone.. how about doing the next comp theme be "renewal"

It’s an a week an thing, but pretty recognisable through media exposure.

Room 101 could be fun

I had the same thought When rolling ideas for how I’d flesh that out into the short paragraph description, do I call them out specifically? I thought it might be fun to offer it up as a technical challenge. Paint something wet, sticky, dripping or otherwise moist/fluid. Could be a vial of poison/blood/potions, bloody injured models. dripping fangs or oozing tentacles, or a swampy base. I figure that’s a wide enough net that most people should be able to find something. If not they could vote for one of the other options.

I had the same thought

I don't know what you're talking about Actually I'd like to toss 'Pride' into the ring, a month late but we had the centennial thing going on (and I'm incapable of thinking a month ahead in any case). Obviously it's kind of a free pass for the Emperor's Children (or the Rainbow Warriors chapter), but more broadly, any miniature with their head held high, for whatever reason - chosen to carry the army banner or sacred relic of whatever-the-hell, a rookie just finished training and spent all night ironing their uniform/polishing their power armour to look impeccable on day one, a commander pleased with their troops' performance, a ganger who's finally saved up/stole enough to afford the gun of their dreams, whatever.

That aside, despite being delayed due to Dreamlight Valley dropping an update in the middle of the month, let's all celebrate the miracle of birth with Sister Julienne, Midwife of Slaanesh:
Spoiler:

...well, when I say 'birth', it's more a case of her summoning a daemon (having looked up the summoning rules in Realm of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness) directly into the abdominal cavity of the patient and letting nature take its course. Well, technically not so much 'patient' as 'victim'. And since most 40k combatants are ill-equipped to give birth, some drilling may be required. The important thing is, it's a miracle.

Room 101? from George Orwell’s “1984.” It is a prison chamber used by the Ministry of Love as a last resort to break down those with whom they are “working.” Within Room 101, a prisoner’s worst fears are manifested.
or on a lighter note theres the UK comedy TV series when celebs put items they don't like in.

Great work finishing another of your conversions Daia T'Nara

Progress! Oh progress, won't you spare me for another week?

Got the bulk of it out the way now. I have the onerous task of painting the canopy and a few more touch ups where I've noticed on the pictures there's some shading missing.

I'm not too happy with the tracks, probably need to break up the colours and repaint the wheels or something. Originally I wanted to make some track guards and then this wouldn't be an issue.. that'll be for later down the line.

Going to try and finish old þunorslieht here tomorrow after work.

A whole week might be a bit much, but as the 30th is a friday, we could probably sneak in an extra weekend. I’m not sure if you are joking, but honestly, I don’t want to see people rush or fail to make this one, so I’m just going to go ahead and bump this out to ending Sunday the 2nd at midnight eastern. Doing it now to prevent people from stressing and allow them to adjust.

Unless you are the kind of person who needs that deadline to get you moving. In which case, don’t read this until Friday night, and then you can have the extra time. But not until you’ve already had one dose of panic driven progress.

I was going to do an even dozen but I just don't have the time, so I'm capping it at ten models.

Updated proof pic:

I should have the painting done very soon and proper photo entries in a day or so.
