That Celestant Aveline miniature being "while stocks last" seems a bit odd, as they normally do tie-in character miniatures as either just typical releases (at least, they used to), or at least as made to order.

I'm very tempted by the Ordo Xenos box as I don't have Draxus and I'd love to have official models for Voidsmen and Inquisitorial Henchmen, and the Corvus Blackstar is such a cool model (pleasepleaseplease GW give it good rules this time around). Not sure I'm going to be able to afford a big box like that right now though.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The second apothecary head is waaay better

I’d like the death mask head, but the gold hair ruins it for me

Still no sanguinor or sanguinary guard :/

Also is it me or is the priest looking more apothecary like than priest like?

That would be because they're apothecaries.

I quite like both of those, the Captain is able to cover quite a few different looks for BA captains.

From a BA point of view I suspect I'd want the Apothecary to be holding that chalice but it does mean he's pretty easy to convert into a generic marine one, and it's nice to have another pose option there.

I'm honestly shocked they kept them as a unit to be honest, it was an ideal time to simply say "they're apothecaries now".

That said, chaos0xomega has a point. It looks more like a generic chapter agnostic mini with a shoulder pad on than it's predecessors.

If the rumours of the Blood Angels preorder at the end of the month are true I would expect all Mondays until then to be BA reveals as they need to get the reveals out there before the book is up.

The Sanguinary Priest was expected but he doesn't seem Blood Angels enough for me? If you take off the chalice and the shoulder pad he could just be a generic Apothecary.

And while the Captain is nice with the different armour style I'm really not sure if another generic Captain is what Space Marines needed even if he is BA themed

And this was the iteration before that:

They've looked like Apothecaries way more often than they haven't.

I am interested to know why one of the caps has been painted as sanguinary guard. New HQ option, upgrade or something fancy?

Eh, sometimes Blood Angels captains wear gold, as demonstrated by Captain Tycho:

Gold is supposed to be how Blood Angels make their Artificier armor.

Thankfully it looks to be a tactical damaged space marine helmet

Two more derpy looking BA characters. I just cant seem to get over how action figurelike these 40K models look opposed to HH ones. GW is making me hate the look of my favourite faction

i'm not sure what the issues with these is. they look like they could be space marines from 20 years ago, the captain especially

I also really like the new BA reveals and BA were my first faction. I like the Sanguinary Priest going back to an upgraded Apothecary instead of a super fancy Priest, gives room for you to customize a fancier version for your army. The Captain kit seems pretty flexible for a modern GW kit, love the shoulder pad options so you can make a not-Tycho and other styles.

It is doable for the model, but lorewise Tycho did die before the Primaris were unveiled by Cawl.
