That last interviewee is such a splitting image of my uncle that I had to watch again and pause.

Tempting, but they are charging a lot for a shirt that’s going to wear out in under 3 years. And we don’t even know if they will fit next edition, or if they will change the sizes all up again.
Pretty sure the video does relate to Titus and the 500 Worlds stuff.

In case people weren't able to pick up one of the battleforces, Element Games on Drury Lane has multiple copies of each still in stock, including Space Marines and Nids.

Easily missed. And I think all models of the month are specific one off Sprues.
Not always; for the Striking Scorpion stores received standard boxes to part out.
From the Deathwatch Marine article : "These miniatures will be available while stocks last, and they may differ from the one pictured."
This one is a purpose made sprue and not a parts out.

Worth noting that even the bespoke single sprues are sometimes the exact same as the minis in the full kit. I got the free grave guard when he was the free mini while building the box, and he was the rank and file build of the champion body.
It would be interesting to chart up which ones were parted out and which were single sprues. I think more and more are specifically cast. But that sounds like a lot of work to gather the data.
Probably an aluminium block: faster and cheaper to machine but wears out much, much faster too. They could do a run of ten thousand relatively cheap that way.

This is pretty common, they did the same for scouts when their KT box came out. As Mr_Rose points out, it's likely a super cheap short lifespan aluminium mold, they will just be copy/pasting the digital asset of the main KT set model onto the new mold for a very low cost one off production run.
The model itself is pretty cool - if you wanted to cheap out on making a spectrus killteam you could just pick up a box of Reivers, add some spare Eliminator rifles, plus this guy for your free comms array.
