Another preview from about two weeks ago; looks to be part of the feds/law enforcement sprue.

And here both Survivor sprues are now

Bit strange that of all the numerous CC options they only took exactly 1 for the product pic
Doesn't stop this from being quite an awesome sprue.

Survivors look much more modular (and therefore useful in larger quantities) than Warlord's old Project Z ones. Curious whether the separate arms sprue works for both male and female bodies. Also, appreciate the lack of puddle bases!

Preview in the Friday e-mail says it is a plastic kit, and clearly (rather battered) robot legs. Presumably for Death Fields. I'm fairly excited about them.

EDIT: I note that both sets of legs have identical damage. It seems unlikely that infantry-sized robots would have poseable legs, so this seems like lazy sculpting. Hopefully this is just for preview purposes and the final version will have each set individually detailed. Honestly though, I'm not sure why they are so beaten-up to begin with. Seems like nice clean robots which you can add damage to would be more popular than ones which come with a fixed set of scratches. Aesthetically they almost match the Damned, but it seems odd to be adding robots to them. I would have expected robots to be more like generic additions to any team.

Oh but I hope those robots aren't two different poses that both have scratches in the exact same place

Just noticed that the painted survivors have placards, but the sprue seems to only have the posts, not the signs. Seems like an odd omission given how many companies seem to insist on including every part in the kit, but I appreciate their faith in my ability to cut plasticard into rectangles.

Yea same, I'd be miffed if they wasted sprue space for rectangles.... but I'm sure someone will say the kit is not WYSIWYG

Oh yea of little faith. Insert huge eyeroll here.

"Robot" legs - robot singular. Multiple leg poses available for A robot. More to be revealed about that full set.

Signs - oh we have signs.

Arms - all the Pulp Adventure (and future Shattered Union) sets are compatible (male/male, female/female - no male/female arm/body pairings as it looks stupid) You have women (for now) bodies/arms/heads in Civilians/Survivors (2): Women and as part of the Agents set. The Operators set is only men although we won't rule out a future women Operators set or another mixed set.

It also allows you to print out more complex signs on cardstock without having to freehand it.

Call me a dreamer, but I'm still holding out hope for a robot kit with a bunch of very different robots, including 'dog-bots' and maybe drones / loitering munitions / brilliant missiles. Even if it's just ten copies of one poseable humanoid robot though, I'm still sold.

Maybe they printed them on the boxes?

I'd prefer to use box card for the signs so you can get the grungy fuzzy edges that IRL posterboards & thin plywood signs could get from carrying around and the occasional bonk to someone's head.
That effect would need more skill/time to do well than simply using card, IMO.

They'd have to be pretty vague non political slogans if they put text on the product lol

"Rise up" and a peace symbol are pretty generic. I love how mad Peace Symbol dude looks.

Personally when I do signs I go with "YES!" and "NO!" to represent two deeply divided sides.

More pics for the lazy.

I've been specifically looking out for previews of the Agents and Operators boxes, as I think they might be useful for Forgotten Ruin. So far all that's lacking on the sprues are an LMG, a rifle mounted grenade launcher and some kind of shoulder fired anti-armor weapon.
I'm assuming the Operators sprue will have at least some of those.

Am I correct in counting ~200 heads per box of 24 bodies? I like to have options as much as the next modeler, but maybe a couple of bags or backpacks or football gear or something would have been a better use of the sprue space...

180 by my count. Does seem excessive. I would have been more than happy with a dozen heads per sprue (e.g. enough to do everyone either normal or masked up).
Another odd choice is the very large number of cricket bats. Baseball bats are at least somewhat common worldwide and actually function well as weapons. Even in the UK, you would expect to see one used in a street fight more often than a cricket bat. Given the massive possible range of improvised weapons, having multiples of the same seems like a poor choice. On the other hand, the only plastic range I'm aware of which did something similar (Project Z) was much worse, with most bodies having only one choice of melee weapon which was often a not-very-practical sporting item (cricket bat, golf club, and tennis racquet).

I prefer having a lot of options for heads that I can use across all the kits.

And if I find I have too many, I’ll just skip some sprue frame bits, melt them into tentacles, and then glue the spare heads and arms all over them to make some kind of Thing or liquid alloy shapeshifter.

The most useful bits in this kit will be the weaponless arms. Kit-bash those onto Stargrave Crew and you've got sci-fi civilians.

I'll certainly be purchasing a few boxes.

I'm betting that WA threw in the Cricket Bats for those who dream of being Shaun.. I KNOW I was immediately hoping a cricket bat would be on there because of that movie..

I'll second the call for a Hazmat team boxset. Loads of uses for them.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.
