Not at all surprised. There’s been rumours abound for years about him being……pally with underage fans.
I was going to say something snippy here, but not exactly the time, is it?

Broken clock and all that......
However, this is bad news for Disney/Tron franchise just before his movie comes out.

After watching Blade Runner 2049, I genuinely have no idea what the point of his character was, he wasn't even that good in it.

I felt that way about most of the movie.

Completely disagree, I thought the film was great. Not as good as the first film but come on, no film is as good as the first Blade Runner.

The end of the film felt like a set up for another movie. It was building towards something we would never see.
Plus I missed a strong antagonist...
But it wasn't bad for part 3 (if we are including Soldier ), I just was a little let down...
As I am when I hear the phrase, "Sequel to a Ridley Scott Film."

But I do agree with you on one point... that Jared Leto could be a decent Hannibal.

Oh, My bad. I was thinking he'd make a good Hannibal Smith, you know, from the A*Team.
Jared Leto doesnt seem to get many heroic leads these days.
I also believed for a while that he could've been in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise... but sadly you need either charisma or the ability to chew through the scenery like Pac-Man on PCP... and Morbius taught us he is sadly lacking in both.
But he'll probably be better than Frank Langella as Skeletor.

Uhh...no.
Dolph Lundgren, Courtney Cox and Robert Duncan McNeil (aka Tom Paris from Star Trek Voyager)
Made that movie...
But look at the cast for the new one... every single person here is really really... bad.
Nicholas Galitzine: as He-Man
Camila Mendes: as Teela
Alison Brie: as Evil-Lyn
Jared Leto: as Skeletor
Idris Elba: as Man-At-Arms
Morena Baccarin: as the Sorceress
Hafthor Bjornsson: as Goat Man
Sam C. Wilson: as Trap Jaw
Kojo Attah: as Tri-Klops
Jon Xue Zhang: as Ram Man
James Purefoy: as King Randor
Charlotte Riley: as Queen Marlena
Kristen Wiig: as Roboto
But hey, I thought Sam Wilson was Captain America, so what do I kno

Glad you edited that I thought the trailer had given you a brain aneurysm.
I'm waiting for the Fox News story about He-Man where they ramble on about Idris Elba taking over for "another traditionally white character."
First Heimdall now Man-at-Arms... I can see the rage on forums now.

This one might be amazing and change your outlook on the whole series.
This is Jared Leto we're talking about after all. He starred in the best (theatricallly released) vampire movie of April 2022.

They thought it deserved a sequel.
Okay, to give a real answer, the first one isn’t bad really, but not great. As a child I remembered watching parts of it whenever I came across them, but couldn’t remember the whole movie. When I rewatched it as an adult, I was surprised how fondly it’s remembered for the 20 minutes of good movie that was crammed into an hour and 20 minutes of tedious movie.

The Disney Channel used to play a Making Of Tron that was more captivating than the actual movie Tron. It was on the same level as that one ILM making of feature with the famous “Live action. Special effects. Live action. Special effects” montage.
