Hello Dakka Dakka! I have decided to stop just reading these fine forums and join the ranks of posting members. I am from Bowling Green, KY, and have over the last year collected my first Warhammer 40k Army. I have 5000+ Points with a focus on diverse infantry choices and builds.
I enjoy the game more for the tactical aspect of the game as opposed to the modelling/painting, but that's more because I have very low skill in painting.
I am, in fact, a rules lawer and proud of that. Proud because I only argue a rule if breaking/bending it would unbalance the game for either side or if something is on the line based on the outcome of the game.
I chose Dakka Dakka's forums to join primarily because the advice I see posted is genuine and because the experience of those who post here is readily evident.
I look forward to posting some things here to get feedback on and hopefully giving my 2 cents to those who want it.

So you're a good rules lawyer? As in the type that doesn't try to disprove Vulkan and the other special character chapter masters ability to take Honor Guard squads simply because their name isn't "Chapter Master" and the Honor Guard entry doesn't give any exceptions, like the Comand Squad entry does?
But, the one that proves that the Deff Rolla doesn't effect vehicles because it mentions it's effect working in a Tank Shock and although a ram is similar it clearly says that a Tank Shock stops 1" away from enemy vehicles, where as a ram has to come into contact with a vehicle so the Deff Rolla can never be used to ram a vehicle unless you're trying to cheat?
Also ZombieKoolaid sounds cool and Shadowbrand's avatar is way more creepy than it's appearance suggests

haha love the replies everyone! I wish I could have been on recently but the great freeze up here in Maryland has had me working around the clock where I work. Very glad to see so many responses from people!
@Zid No, the Imperium doesn't suck, and if we ever meet on the field of battle I will demonstrate your massive wrongness.
@Napalm No, it contains no Southern Comfort. However booze can be added to it for extra flavor.
