Hello I am new to 40k and to this forums. Right now I am having the problem of not being able to choose an army. I look at one then nitpick to much and go to another. Hopefully I can find something to help me choose here

Hi and welcome! I'm still very new to the hobby myself, I ended up choosing Ultrasmurfs because I thought I could save a couple of bucks using all the stuff out of the AoBR box. I didn't find out until later most of the models included aren't kitted out the way I need them to be :p They have grown on me ever since though, look through some of the lore for each army and maybe that will inspire you! Good luck!

Wait till november to buy necrons. They will be the next best thing and everyone, and i mean EVERYONE will be complaining about how overpowered they are, everyone will be switching over, and there will be oodles of cool new releases.
Alternatively, just get the black reach kit. Learn the rules with marines and orks. See how you like to play first, and once you have that down, see about the armies. AOBR is dirt cheap compared to what you would pay for the boxed sets (true, you don't get the same options, but let's assume you wanted that exact out-fit as in AOBR....) and the minirulebook is worth the BRB's weight in gold.

Also be sure not to pick an army just because you like a few models, try to find one that you like nearly all of them and you'll have more fun collecting them.
