Funilly enough I was going to post on the tourney thread asking about that.
What'd be great is a device that takes a good pic, can connect to tinternet, and let me type a batrep too.
If anyone knows of such a thing, please let me know.

Game 2
Kill Points
Hammer and Anvil
My opponent was Janos, who was fielding an interesting-looking chaos marine/ daemon alliance.
His list was roughly as follows:
Huron
small unit of cultists
small unit of cultists
3 oblits
helldrake
maulerfiend
forgefiend
Daemon allies:
Big unit of flesh hounds
Big unit of bloodletters
Herald of khorne on a juggernaught
Immediate thoughts
Again this seemed like quite a mobile army. But much of it was T3 which was much more in the sisters sweet spot.
This was a pig of a mission for both our armies, as we both had numerous easy kill points in our lists.
Janos informed me of the infiltrate ability of huron, and this definitely affected my deployment - I spread out to try and limit where he could place his infiltrating oblits and flesh hounds.
Early doors
Janos had first turn, and by the end of it the flesh hound pack were on my doorstep - right next to the conclave. I wasnt sure how an assault would go, as the hounds had 2 wounds and Huron managed to give them feel no pain with his biomancy power.
Janos secured first blood by blowing up a rhino with his lascannon-wielding oblits.
In my early turns, I had no choice but to assault the conclave into the hound pack. With Jacobus buffing them (rerolls to hit and rerolling invuln saves with war hymns), they chewed through the hounds in surprisingly short order.
Jacobus was fighting the herald in a duel (and losing), so it was a relief when the daemons rolled badly for their demonic instability and were wiped as a result. Didnt expect that assault to go so well, in a big part this was due to good rolling on Jacobus 5+ invuln buff.
Mid game
The seraphim duelled with the oblits and both units ended up falling back after a few shoting phases.
The bloodletters in centre field were assaulted by celestine and the penitent engine squadron. Over several turns they were able to whittle them down.
Every time I grabbed a killpoint, Janos seemed to pull away again! My small squishy transports & scoring units were easy meat for the helldrake.
As with the prevous game, the onus was on me to cross the table to get the kill points I needed to close the gap between us. The repentia again did well, eviscerating a maulerfiend who had previously trashed their repressor!
They also managed to assault and kill the forgefiend who had been successfully held up by the conclave
Endgame
Huron was legging it out of range, and sent his cultists to stop the sisters advance.
This basically worked, but as I was so far up the table I managed to secure line breaker.
A second draw of the weekend!
Post-game Thoughts
For my opponents list - I really liked what Huron brought to this army. He's a bit mad, generating a random psychic power and giving a few units infiltrate. Mad but cool. Also liked to see some of the lesser-seen units on the table - Qudos to my opponents list selection!
Some surprises in this game. One was the decent performance of the repentia for the 2nd game in a row- they eviscerated a maulerfield, forgefiend, and then very late in the game, helped to wipe the cultist unit to secure me a draw.
The coclave again demonstrated their nous in
CC. Though both their fights in the tourney so far had been on their terms (the were able to charge in both cases, making a big difference to the damage output of the arco-flaggelants in particular)
And i managed to get the penitent engines into
CC again, which was nice.

Game 3
Emperors will (draw game)
Dawn of War
[note: no pics on this one, sorry!]
My opponent (whose name escaped me.. apologies!) had an interesting-looking nid list:
Winged tyrant with barbed stranglers
big unit gaunts
big unit choppy gaunts
small unit nid warriors
2 winged crones
3 biovores
3 hive guard
2 warp lance beasts
Immediate thoughts
The monstrous flyers & tyrant worried me a bit. Also note the fire round corners/ ignore cover heavy support choices - bad news for an assaulty sisters player! I immediately resolved to reserve my 2 scoring units.
If there was one silver lining its was the big gaunt units. These might be a nice way of gatting close - the seraphim holding them up, hit and run and then the proper assault units hitting. Did it work? Read on!
Early doors
I had first turn and wasnt sure what to do. I hid most of my army behind a big ruin while advancing.
Terrible idea! The hive guard exploded both penitent engines, killing most of the disembarked repentia! The biovores killed several of the conclave even with terrible rolls on my opponents part.
The seraphim did manage to get into combat and tarpit the gaunts though, which was nice - especially when the 3 arcos came charging in and wiped them later on. This also freed up the seraphim to shred the nid warriors (some great rolling, plus a chancy assault that went vey well).
Mid game
Worryingly, the hive tyrant moved back to the central nid lines ready to assault next turn. It had to go, but it didn't look on. No
LOS on my exorcist - had to drive it at crusing speed but managed to unleash 6 missiles, one of which casued a wound.
My second serpahims deep struck in next to it and managed to get emperors deliverance. Unbelievably, they managed to inflict around 6 wounds, my opponent rolled terribly and it was dead!
This allowed me to get celestine into the remaining scoring unit, and with her heavy flamer and power weapon attacks, she made short work of them.
The crones started vecor striking my vehicles and put paid to the remaining penitent engine, and all but 1 of my transports.
Endgame
With my reserves on and racing to the objectives, it looked good for me at this stage. However the flexibility of the crones really told late in this game.
They both swooped down on the disembared scoring units, on one flank wiping the poor sisters.. but I got lucky on the other flank and managed to kill it with krak grenades.
But just when a win looked certain, the warp lance charged into the remnants of my last scoring unit, killing them.
When the dust had settled.. yet another draw!
Post-game Thoughts
I really enjoyed this game, in fact all the games I played on Saturday.
Again I liked the variation I saw in my opponents list. The crones flexibility was incredibly useful.
The turning point for me was killing the hive tyrant. Had he not gone down, it was curtains for me, to be sure.
But the nids just kept on coming back, and secured a deserved draw.
Basically by the end of day 1 I felt I had already got my monies worth for this weekend.
Most gamers I noticed hadnt gone mad for forgeworld stuff (however many people had one centrepiece model that was
FW).
OK there were 3 warhound titans - and 1 pure knight list - and a couple of the massive chicken thing. But this probably represented around 5% of the attendance. Everyone else had fairly balanced non-spammy lists. Just as well for me, as I couldt compete with any of that stuff!
After a day of full on gaming it was time for a rest and downtime before another days gaming on the sunday! As a dad having not really had a break since baby came along, this was utter bliss.
As I managed to forget the pics - I have included a pic taken by my mate, who thought celestine would look good in churchy terrain
