I can say, without reservation, that the new horses suck. They do not line up well, and all the tails bend in the same direction.

There are, in fact, 30 horses. 31 if you count the mini I have someplace else that represented the Rough Rider special character we lost.

I am rebuilding my old full Praetorian Army. This is a "Boots* On The Ground" army, without a single vehicle. I may allow Sentinels, as those are "Classic Praetorian", and I own, like, a dozen of the new ones.
Troops will be a mix of old GW Mordian/Praetorian, Col. Gravis' Colonial Empire, and Victoria Lamb's Victorian Guard.
The Army will be pure Imperial Guard, single source, utilizing a single detachment, built around a core of Rough Riders and Bullgryns. Someone gave me a VERY BAD IDEA for modeling themed Bullgryns, and I am going to run with it once I am finished with the Rough Riders.
I will continue with my Winter Army theme, and my original 'lost world' background, as to keep me from having to repaint a ton of vehicles.
This is also a tabletop army, so I am being less-than-perfect with mold lines and gaps on the horses. BECAUSE THEY SUCK, and I have so many miniatures to assemble and paint, I have to go with the three foot rule for everything.

Anyway, great review. I really like the detailed comparisons. Very cool. Great photos too. ANy issues with miscasts or sub stamndard parts PLEASE contact me for replacements.

@Cam - Thanks! For my first-ever attempt to go from "Art to Part", it came out very well.
@tower - Indeed, a laser cutter with a 2 foot by 4 foot (.6m x 1.3m) cutting bed. MASSIVE.
@graven - I haven't look at the status of contests. I'm just trying to get back into the groove of things.
@shal - Thanks! With the stainless steel and rust, it is fairly tabletop ready.
@mt - It is nice to be back. And, yes, being able to spool up on the toys (and the software to use them) has been a big part of my time, recently.
@Dr.H - Thank you!
@dstein - PEW PEW PEW!
@Giraffe - My apples being all the wargamers to the table? Something like that.
---
Now, the question is...how much would you pay for a bridge that size?
