There are a lot of options that can be done. I chose plywood because I will be putting 2" of foam over the top, so mdf is contra-indicated.

Oh, hey! How ya been? Good, good. Yeah, me too. So, uh. Let's just get into it. This is post 3101.
Garbage Dumpsters. These have been painted with Krylon's "Stainless Steel" spray, which actually contains stainless steel flakes. It is pretty fun to play with.
These are laser-cut pallets. Both these and the dumpsters are from Warsenal. A small abandoned fuel dump objective/terrain piece is next to them.
3D printed radar dishes, also with a coat of stainless. Few details on these, as I will be adding them to other buildings/structures.
A bunch of WiP:
The barriers were hit with stainless, and then rust powders have been added, and can be seen in the pictures below.
Have some hot hot "Ambush on the Iron Road" action.

I am finding that hitting them with dullcote helps, but what really works is to add them to other terrain. Rocks, logs, scenic bases.

I have thought about building a bonsai tree into some terrain to add that extra element of realism. It'll be a while before I get around to attempting it though.

I have two more pieces completed today, that need the light of day to photograph. More jungle, more old-school terrain madness.
So, let's see how we're doing.
Mnis:
8 Spore mines
12 'gants
6 'stealers
Terrain:
'nid terrain
Two GW jungle treelines
Fuel cache
Pallets
Dumpsters
Crashed Shuttle
Wrecked Rhinos
Two Jungle ruins
Two bridge board sections
GW barriers
So thst's 26 minis, and 11 terrain pieces. If I count the medium terrain pieces as 3 models and the large as 5, then we're at 26 'days' of minis and 29 'days' of terrain, for a total of 55 days. Here is is, Feb 17th, or 48 days in. I'm good with counting myself 'ahead' for the year!
