Ok, so this is going to be my first "real blog" So help me out here if i am doing something wrong please.

Anyways, i started collecting orks, about 2 years ago, but then stopped playing warhammer 40k. Now, i am back into it, and ready to contiune on with my orkz....
Ok, So i decided i wanted to do the Evil Sunz clan cuz i like there paint job, and that tthey use lots of trukks and buggies... So, without further ado, here is the start of my Evil Sunz army!

EDIT: What started out as a Evil sunz army has now become more like a gathering of red orks army, so forget the evil sunz army, they are part of it, that is all







So what you guyz think? Any questions? C&C welcome and appreciated!

Btw, is that yellow walker a Killer Kan, Deff Dread or a conversion?

Haha, ya, war bikers are nice...
And that yellow box iz a in progress killa kan, made from sprues, bits, and ceral boxs =p
I should be painting the 3rd warbiker soon. So stay tuned!

Killer Kans (or Killa Boxes) are pretty cool, I'd get some for myself if I could work on a 2nd Ork army, they dont fit into my current army's theme.

Im not to big on ork vehicles (mostly for the low AV) but im working on buying Trukks.

That Tank looks like it was stolen from the SM, that makes me a happy Ork

Haha, thats my battle wagon.... I never did spray paint it..... It was my big meks (my bro's) first ork cration... Made from a few ceral boxs, and 8 shootas, and a few other things.... He was building a stompa out of a 2 liter bottle, and stuff, but we turned on the bedroom fan and blow it over and basiclly killed it

i can see rhino sides on that battlewaggon, looted!
I think 8 shootas is a bit much, but as long as you don't count them all it should be fine as that would be 24 shots if you did.

oh, hehe, i di'nt even remember that there was a rhino under there xD
And as for the 8 shootas, i cut the barrel of 4 of em off, and added it to the other 4 to make big shootas, thats what i ment by 4 shootas, the bits part

Warbikers = Awsomeness. and the sweet red paintjob makes em go Fasta!

Were they difficult to make? glueing all those peices together without bonding plastic bits to ur fingers xD

No, they are really wasy to put together... It's the painting that is a pain....

Glueing is more of a pain to me then painting, i usaully have plenty of time to paint over my mistakes, although painting all those angles can get frustrating.

You should look at the Evil Sunz army in the Ork codex, It would be a great starting point.

speaking of which, truckboyz are good, and giving that mek a kustom force field can make them a pain in the ass to kill fast enough.

any 360 shots on the battle wagon/looted tank that you have hovering in the background.

Those three warbikers cost 41 smackaroos (thats hermet for dollars) its the only reason why I dont have any yet :(

tell me about it, part of the reason I don't take them in my ork army. I'm with the sneaky gitz in the bloodaxes anyways.

basicly GW slapped a 41 dollar price tag on em and new that they were so badass that somebody would spend that much on em. Sucks for me cuase I want at least 3 units of warbikers

well the evil sunz are particaurly mostly warbikes.... It says going fast, and load noises..... =p

I need to save up my teeth and by some. warbikers are awsome for only 25 points a pop.

sorry for the lack of updates, but i doubted you guyz wanted to see boreing old boyz being painted.... anyways, here are my 2 full trukk boyz squads,



My 2 trukk squads, shown together. you can see that i did diffrent paint methods for each



This was my first squad of boyz that i ever painted, i though they turned out rather nice... Sorry for the blurry pic xD the camera focused on the back ground

Heres the second mob, i used the fast painting method for them (by chompy... chimpy... i forget the name...)

and here is there trukk.... as you can see it is the OOP style which i like better, it is still a WIP (notice the spoiler)

You like the old trukks better, really? I really like a lot of the old models more than the new ones, but the trukks are not one of them. They just look more like buggies IMO. I like the spoiler though. It's a very nice, very orky add on. I think your Big Mek looks great too.

haha, ya, i just hate painting the freaking thing! took me like 5 dayz xD i mean, i like it for looks way better, but for painting... not at all....
And thanks about the spoiler, i thought it was very "creative" just ripped the back ramp off of the trukk and put it up there =p

Yes - I am not looking forward to painting my first Trukk... Did you put it all together before painting it, or paint it before final assembly? If the former - how do you get to all the nooks and cranked? Especially around the driver and gunner?

And as for the trukk.... i put it all together before i painted it... the gunner iz not glued in, he was the only part that i painted then put in.... And as for all the nooks and craneys, why do you think it took 3 freakin days? Although, i would recomend that you primer it, then just spray paint it your base color (for me red) then just dry prush it all with bolt gun, then devlin mud wash it all..... then paint the driver and gunner, and glue em in....
Note, that is not what i did, but it sounds a whole lot freaking better than what i did

I am currently heavily magnetising mine (all wheels, reinforced ram) and will be keeping the driver/gunner removable. I can still see it being fiddly, but seems like I *may* be on the right track to avoid most of your pain... Don't have Dark Angels Green spray paint or gun though... Still, your Trukk looks great - and that's all that matters! (plus mine is likely to take 3 weeks, not 3 days... I'm a slow painter... and not look any better!)

Ok, well i primed the OOP trukk yesterday, so i will start painting it today (if school doesn't bug me to much... it is monday after all....) so expect some OOP progress pics coming to a screen near you =p
