From the fluff, Avatars are pretty much composed of molten metal. I think you should add a bit more yellow in there to make a glowing effect from the heat of their bodies.

If you look at the ribs and sides, also behind the knees (not show in pics) there is like an under skin of molten metal with a harder cooled (think lava) top!

very nice paint job! i too didn't see the molten parts until you brought it up. the only suggestion i'd make is maybe making the molten lava come out of most of the cracks instead of only a few so that the less observant dakkites like me will notice it.

I'm also a fan of the "molten lava" glow effect coming from deep inside the cracks, but don't change your model due to peer pressure.

Very nice. I especially like the effect on the ground heating up under the Avatars footsteps.

The sunken but fiery eyes look great as well. I agree that a molten glow from within would look incredible, but what you've already done is amazing.

Nice, I like the glowy effect on the ground near his feet. I like that the glow is a bit more subtle than one often sees (and to be honest, how I will likely paint my own).

You've really done this model justice. Which is rarely done in my opinion. He looks like hes just waded through a few armies. Great work!

Holy crap thats awesome. I love the flames on the bottom of his tabard.
