It's certainly possible. Not sure if it has legs as a product (I think it'll look a bit wierd) but if you're really keen drop me an email and we'll see about making you a couple.

Just didn't know if you had considered it (I've not seen the two scales side by side so I don't know how much disconnect there is between them).

There's some good stuff going on here.
I'm putting a modest order in.
The 15mm rules sound interesting -- it will give me a good use for my hordes of 15mm Laser Burn and Traveller figures.

Have you considered doing some sort of large 'town square' tiles? Basically, do a roundabout-type structure that has roads exiting on four sides and a central circular area that could hold a big fountain, statue, small-ish building, monument, etc.
I've got a tile of the FoW-scale stuff ready-to-paint with a sci-fi power-plant/industrial building I whipped together from some Armorcast and JR Miniatures kits. Once I get it photographed I'll post a pic.

Good thought - I'll put it on the list. Would like to see what you've done. 30/12/10 - Airfield Set Our last release for 2010 is a small-scale airfield. Contents are: two runway sections (5x27cm) that can be used separately or combined into a single 54cm runway. Three service/storage bays for aircraft (7.5x6cm) which can accomodate an AI Marauder, an Epic Thunderhawk, Battletech Interface Shuttle, etc. Two panels each with three grilled areas that can accomodate an AI Valkyrie, an Epic Thunderbolt, a Battletech VTOL, etc. These could also be used as solar collectors, missile silos, etc. Combine one or more of these sets with our roads and building baseplates to create more complex airfield layouts.

That does look pretty cool. Will you be adding defensive berms? Heh, at 40k scale you would end up with an Apocalypse battelfield, based on the weird 40k scaling system

06/01/11 - Blast/Supression Markers and Gruntz Blast Template
This week we've got a blast template for Gruntz incorporating 6", 4" 2" templates as well as a direction randomiser. As the photo shows, users can customize the look of the template by selectively removing the protective backing.
We are also offering a pack of 12 blast/supression markers, perfect for games such as Stargrunt or Epic which require tracking of units under fire.

I would really like to do an accessory set with defensive berms, lights, fuel tanks, tower, etc but it's just not possible with my current equipment. I'm looking into acquiring a rapid-prototyping setup which prints in ABS plastic (rather than the usual dental plaster) in the back half of the year. That'll make projects like that possible.

yeah,
ArbitorIan is planning a Airfield Terrain set using Plastic pipes as hangers etc... I think he'd love to see a 40k version of the landing strip.
I think your main problem won't be size, but getting enough surface details to make the strip worth buying.
a large flat rectangle would be pretty boring, and easy to get elsewhere.

We are now licensed to produce accessories for 1-48 Combat. If you haven't already seen it, it's a very slick small squad skirmish system with some novel mechanics for overwatch and suppression. Rules are free to download so check it out! 1-48combat.com The first release is a set of counters.
We've also got the finalised set of templates and measuring tools for Gruntz. Publication of the 1st edition is imminent so keep your eye on their website www.gruntz.biz

I checked out that "Gruntz" game. It looks very interesting! Just goes to show how much there is that we don't already know about. Keep up the good work s6! By the way they spelt it "s3" Engineering on their website. There's still a link so it doesn't really matter but I thought you might want to know.

I'll mention that to Robin! Gruntz is a pretty nice system, in many ways a successor to Stargrunt and Dirstside from Ground Zero Games.
If you haven't checked it out then you should definately take a look at 1-48 Combat - It's got some really nice mechanics. The ][-munda guys should seriously consider borrowing their overwatch and suppression mechanics.
