Thanks a lot guys! I've finished converting and greenstuffing the dread, so it's ready for primer - I will begin painting it tonight, really looking forward to it.
Apologize the poor pic, it's been cloudy all day. I'm really happy with it so far - It's become really disgusting!

That is one menacing looking dread!! 100% Khorne! I love the motion in the mini and agree with Gits, that the base really suits it.

I just love the use of the spine on the rear of the dread, it's an excellent addition and it really just looks cool! makes me want to spine all my dreads! .... if i was a traitor that is!

Outstanding work yet again! Your Khorne stuff looks amazing, but this is some of the best Nurgle I've seen. Are you using NMM? It looks great.
You are one of the guys here on Dakka that push me to be a better painter.

Thanks a lot guys - I love getting your comments.
I'm working at painting the terminators, the lord, and the dreadnought, and busy working on the daemon prince - he's finished pretty soon, and he has a BIG scythe.
I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
Lint: Nope, no NMM - just thinned metallic paints over a white undercoat - the white shines through on the edges, giving it automatic highlights. The I just wash with badab black all over, and give devlan mud detailing for dirt.
The paint scheme for the armour is really simple: White undercoat, knarloc green edge trims (again thinned for "auto-highlights), washed with devlan mud (thinned), and all recesses are picked out in badab black. Then I use baal red, badab black and leviathan purple for dirt and running slime.
