Decided to do all the red stuff together. The drake is a test for my scheme for the big dragon in the set.

The legion devils are not too good as sculpts but I really like the Drake and Cultists. Very useful!

Nothing amazing but a small update on the Epic avatar.



Needs more highlighting done and I want to add some free hand to the cape, but it's getting there.
Tiny model though as you can see from the base and the paint pot lol.

Bit of progress on the skits. Still lots to do but the main donkeywork is now taken care of. Happy how these fellas are shaping up

The next part of my pledge - dungeon critters! I like the Otyugh, he's got a lot of character, though his teeth could have done with better definition. The bears and snakes are just okay, nothing special.

Next up, a gaggle of aberrant beasties.

Bears look like they'd be great for a force of nature army or herd army in KOW.

My painting has been a bit random so far this month.

I tend to jump from one model to the next rather than finishing units.
May get the Epic destroyers done and dusted as I only have 6 anyway.

Do however have my deathwatch overkill here now.

Elf is done now apart from basing, and I have a unit of Bane Thralls 90% there. Probably going to change up the goals for this month though and cap it at what I already have started plus the 60 Termagants, uni is taking up a hell of a lot of my time and I have no time to paint!

28 down for March, I'm doing pretty well this month! Still got a 14 to do from this set and 2 descent heroes. On 98 minis for the year so I might just knock out the two descenters and bring myself up to 100.

those Gibbering Mouths are awesoem . If they sold those separately then I could see people fielding them as pink horrors for warhammer.

Started work on the final 2 thallax of the unit now and basecoated the thanatar.

Hoping for some good progress this month.

More robots!


These are Talos units from Kryomek, if anyone remembers that game. We never actually played, but I remember the models being fine stand-ins for Tyrannids in 40Kv3 or thereabouts.

This robot project has really killed my model-per-month count...

Still plugging away at the Tyranids, but it looks like March is going to be all about more models for my D&D game.

Did up a Khorgorath as a demon for my players to fight once they've got some more levels under their belts.

That's a nifty demon!

Had some time this morning, so I painted up a Goblin Gas-Blower from Confrontation, for use in D&D.

Man do I love those later Confrontation sculpts! Nice job!

I forgot to post this over here, put it in my blog. I decided to make a piece of terrain, and possible item for a special zombicide black plague missions.

Still needs some work (trying to make functional front and back doors for loading players inside a la trojan horse, and my polyshade/armypainter deeptone had dried out and I need to get a replacement pot.

No wooden badgers to be built....yet, but I might try and build a demolished one to have after this gets dropped on someone.

Had some time to crank out another D&D figure tonight after work. Not my best work, but I'm working to fill out my collection in time for my D&D game to start up soon.
