On a side note it'd be nice to see some Dakka member personal achievements for the year.
I don't know if Legoburner, Yakface or any other mods could bring up some data through the power of computer science?
Chatterbox: Most Posts (possibly within each sub forum)
Snap Happy: Most Photo Uploads
Tourist: Most Gallery Votes
Old Master: Highest voted Image
and the prestigious, King of Contribution: Most Exalted posts.
Legoburner and the mods agreed it was a good idea so I proudly present the top 5 for each category.
(Unfortunately the gallery votes proved a bit of databas challenge and is not available)
Chatterbox: Most Posts
5-RiTides
4-d-usa
3-Paradigm
2-BrookM
and to no ones' surprise with over 8000 posts this year...
1-Alpharius
It always felt like there was more than one of him around.
(note there was one higher but it wasn't his work, if any of these top 5 are there for some one else's work let me know, unfortuantely I have to check by hand)
Now for the two biggies. First off is the most exaulted threads, that is who started threads that got the most exaults thus spurring interesting discussion:
King of Contribution: Most Exalted threads
5-pretre
4-BrookM
3-GrimDork
2-Alpharius
And the winner, whose threads have garnered nearly 50k exaults this year is...
1-Gitsplitta
And finally the individual winners, the people with the most exaulted posts...
King of Contribution: Most Exalted posts
5-insaniak
4-MWHistorian
3-Peregrine
2-Azreal13
And the winner, the man, the legend, the author, the half brother of Marneus Augustus Calgar himself, the wonder from down under...
1-H.B.M.C.
Thank you all for your work to make 2014 another entertaining and enjoyable year on Dakka! Here's to many more!

Exalted.
Is there a Best Mod ranking, based on some statistic like 'most efficient', or 'quickest responder', or 'first name Yakface pulled out of a hat'?
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

You've made 1638 posts in that thread. Second only to Alph's 25875 posts. If you exalted every post you made (and we all know you do. ) then it's little wonder you're in the top five.
My 'quality photo upload of the year' award (as the sideways ork bikers don't seem to be on there any more), and by 'quality' I mean 'horrendous', goes to this gem:
Spoiler:
And I probably shouldn't laugh at this, cause it's actually probably a fair amount of work, but I can't help myself

A loss to you is still a victory in my books my good man!
Seriously though, I'm strangely touched (no, not in that way. Well, ok, yes I am, but that's not relevant right now!) that people think enough of the drivel I post to endorse it, so thanks everyone!

This is for 2014, not all time!
I've since reformed.
Mostly.
Maybe.
A little bit.

Yeah... KK is the most stalwart supporter of the gallery I'm aware of. I know he single-handedly stops me from committing suicide on a daily basis over the time I spend painting & modeling with his supportive comments about my work.
Wow, I'd have thought my work and ramblings would have fallen off into the background by now & become old-hat. Very humbling to think that they're sill relevant to "today's modern dakkanaught".
BTW thanks to whalemusic360 for pointing this thread out... I'd missed it entirely.

Awesome to see some of the best contributors getting recognition.
I'd also like to propose a christmas toast to Dakka's excellent moderation team, who help set the tone of this community we all enjoy so much with their tireless and often thankless work!

Oddly IIRC you were the one with the real highest rated image, but it was someone else's diorama from Adapticon. But your stuff is nothing to be sneezed at!

Thanks for typing this up KK, and to Lego for crunching the numbers! It's particularly nice to see the Exalts results, since these aren't visible anywhere. Well done Dakkanauts!

I'll have you know Mr. Waaaaah_Gonads that the only reason I ever got to meet and hob nob with the dakka elite was because you were wearing a T-shirt with your avatar on it and I bumped into you in the War Machine room at Adepticon. You introduced me to RiTides and the rest was history.
Thank you sir... really... thank you very much!
