It looks like it's a few days into the Apocalypse and he hasn't had time to shave, and took off his tie so a zombie doesn't get a hold of it..
Snippet of discussion from Kickstareter thread from CMON
Creator CoolMiniOrNot 23 minutes ago
@Vinsssounet Perhaps we were not 100% clear - we can't discuss our dealings with Miramax, at all. There is a reason we are not posting pictures. You now have the opportunity, at our expense, of examining the figures before deciding on a return (postage paid on us, to clarify since you didn't actually email). The alternative would be to update you earlier and cancel the figure (we would not be able to provide you pictures to make an informed choice). We judged the former to be the better route, but please accept our apologies if you would have preferred being informed earlier and then have an outright cancellation instead.
Paul appears to be angling for more free exclusive stuff - it's not justified in our opinion (and Guillotine Games) since an examination, then a return and refund is reasonable and equitable. So in case there's any confusion created by his fake post, the one option is a return and refund for Eva and Marvin, nothing else.
Firstly, we want everyone who backs our projects to be happy, within the limits of the project and what we can do.
We've learnt a lot from our previous Kickstarters, this being the first one, and one of the lessons is that we need to actively educate potential backers that these projects aren't 100% final. In addition, no matter what happens there will be a segment of backers that will be disappointed, because the final product does not match whatever is built up in their minds. This is inevitable with anything that is still in production and design - what you imagine and what the designers imagine are unlikely to 100% match, especially multiplied over thousands of different backers. Most backers understand this and can accept it, but there are some who cannot.
These are the types of backers which we are likely to disappoint, and we actively discourage them from backing our projects (and probably Kickstarter in general) if they:
1. View projects as a preorder, with no possible changes in product or delivery dates being acceptable
2. Expect compensation above and beyond what was contributed due to changes
3. Are not generally reachable by email (for technical or personal reasons) but are angry if important announcements are missed
4. Require already polite, factual emails and updates to be phrased in a specific way.
5. Cannot be the last to be shipped, even though someone has to be last.
If you pledged on Zombicide Season 2 and fall into any of these categories, and you are here reading these comments on S1, it's likely you've spent more than $100 on it - this is a lot of money and a big responsibility for us. If you know there's a high chance you'll be mad (for whatever reason), please get in touch with us for a refund and cancellation.
Just for context, Paul posted a fake letter saying that CMON would include a free Kyoto figure to anyone who ordered Martin or Eva. It's written as straight faced sarcasm, but anyone who skimmed the first line of the post may have missed that it wasn't an actual letter from CMON.
I'd still rather roll the dice for all the season two characters, as I fully funded enough to receive at least one of each. The odds are still good, as it looks like 90% of the S1 figs came out unchanged, that we will be happy with most of the figs. I just no longer have any desire to get ahold of Marvin after seeing the final product.
Kyoko is the prize for getting your scenario selected and published by GG and you only get to pick either the human or Zombivor version not both you have to win twice for that! She won't be available to buy ever but GG have said they will have other competitions and other ways to win her.
CMoN have confirmed they will cover the postage as well if you really don't want Eva and Marvin and send them back but really even if you don't like them why would you take a $20 refund when you'll still get multiples of that on ebay. I found it funny that someone in the comments mentioned that the design change would hurt the resale value!
I got my shipping notice about 3 hours after I received a UPS email telling me it was delivered?!?
That said I do live about 20 miles from Battle Foam UK so perhaps Romeo's UK Bro hand delivered it then went back to the office to email me about it.
I am not a fan of the new Eva model at all. Its nicely sculped an all, you can make out that its Thurman's face but the whole look doesn't work for me. I'll keep it but I'm a tad disappointed by the new look.
Marvin is fine, no problem there. I would have preferred them to have changed it to either a Mace Windo head or a back to front Kangol hat but it still works for me.
Eagle looks a bit funny though. He has a podgy face and is clean shaven almost. Once he has a bit of paint on him i'm sure hell be fine.
Overall I really happy with the release and its great to have more characters to play with. Why did 9 not feel like enough before?
Oh, is that all of it for Zombicide Season 1, I've completely lost track?
So I was looking over the CKPM and it lists what's in phase I and Phase II and I'm a little confused. I knew the special survivor packs were phase II, but it lists the "Prison Outbreak Pack B" as phase II as well. Looking at the kickstarter page, I can't really determine what is supposed to be in Pack A vs Pack B.
So guys, if you want to get 1.) more zombies, 2.) more tiles, or a mix between 1 and 2, which is the best appraoch. Buy individually BoZs and tiles, or go for another game set?
I ended up over pledging by $10 as I had added in the money for a character that went to free as a stretch goal. As there was nothing else I wanted, I just let them keep it, it'll help towards the extra shipping that they'll be paying on my behalf and as they will be shipping from within Europe, I will not have the equivalent of around $50 in handling charges and VAT to pay.
I got my tracking number and an email stating my items had just been handed off to fedex on the night of the 8th....
However, my tracking number doen't work on fedex's website, it says the number doesn't exist. I'm sure they mis-typed the number they listed in the pledge manager and email and the items are still en-route (I don't believe fedex delivers on Saturdays). I hope they show up on Monday.
Anyone else get a bogus tracking number? It's taking approx 3 days on average for people in the US to get their items once shipped, right?
Well that's calming, I hope that's the issue I'm having. I would go balistic if my two complete sets and t-shirts went missing, esp since it would be financially foolish to try to replace them (good god ebay).
Still not sure why my tracking number doesn't work/exist, I've ent several emails to CMON..... however I've had more luck talking to a wall....

Trying adding a 0 before the Tracking Number. CMON seem to be missing them off when adding them to the CKPM.
My tracking number came seperated in the middle by a space, messing up the hyper link. If that holds true for you, try combing the numbers without the space. Worked for me.
May items came in yesterday, But I'll be working til Tuesday. A damn shame I say.
Does anyone remember what's in the "Wave 2" for Season 2? It's the three artist packs, the moustache group, Smith (Snake Plissken), Mike (Jack Nicolson) and who eles? Or is it just them?
Over the years there was Comikazi, Grandmasters, Klassic Comics, and Game Haven, with the occasional game at Looney Toons, but yes they are all gone now and the gaming focus has shifted to New England Comics.
Nice crowd there. John, Americo, and Ed are all long time friends and gaming buddies of mine. I know Mark has recently infected the crowd there with the Zombicide Plague. Maybe it's about time I contort my schedule and see if I can get a few games in there.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Got mine today. I had completely forgot about the T-shirt.
Aaaargh dammit CMON... I told you my address had changed with the last debacle over Sedition Wars. I hope you've not sent the package to my old address, otherwise I am going to be super ticked...
TAUNT – The Survivor can use this Skill for free, once during
each of his turns. Select a Zone your Survivor can see. All
Zombies standing in the selected Zone immediately gain an
extra activation: they try to reach the taunting Survivor by
all means available. Taunted Zombies ignore all other Survivors:
they do not attack them and cross the Zone they stand
in if needed to reach the taunting Survivor.
COLLECTOR: [ZOMBIE TYPE] – The Survivor doubles the experience gained each time he kills a Zombie of the specified
type.
BLITZ – Each time your Survivor kills the last Zombie of a Zone, he gets 1 free Move Action to use immediately.
BLOODLUST: COMBAT – Spend one Action with the Survivor: He moves up to two Zones to a Zone containing at least one Zombie. He then benefits of a free Combat Action.
BREAK-IN – The Survivor doesn’t need any Equipment to open doors. He doesn’t make Noise while using this Skill. However, other prerequisites are still mandatory (such as taking a designated Objective). Moreover, the Survivor has one extra, free Door opening Action. This Action can only be used to open doors.
Please note the Break-in Skill doesn’t apply to removing barricades.
DEATH GRASP – Don’t discard an Equipment card when the Survivor receives a Wounded card. This Skill is ignored if there’s no space left in the Inventory to receive the Wounded card.
DISTRIBUTOR – Using this Skill alters the Spawn step during the Zombies’ Phase. When resolving the Spawn step during the Zombies’ Phase, draw as many Zombie cards as there are Spawn Zones. Assign each of them freely to a Spawn Zone, then spawn Zombies as indicated.
LIFESAVER – The Survivor can use this Skill for free, once during each of his turns. Select a Zone containing at least one Zombie at Range 1 from your Survivor. All friendly Survivors in the selected Zone can be dragged to your Survivor’s Zone without penalty. This is not a Movement. A Survivor can decline the rescue and stay in the selected Zone if his controller wants to. Both Zones need to share a clear path: a Survivor can’t cross barricades, fences, or walls. Lifesaver can’t be used by a Survivor in a car or in an observation tower, nor can it be used to drag Survivors out of a car or an observation tower.
Derek is one of the two Season 1 Kickstarter "I am Legend" pledger. And here he is with the two miniatures representing him as survivor and zombivor!
Spent most of Saturday playing Zombicide. Got in three games with a few friends of mine, and we tested out all the new characters (save Claudia).
We discovered that:
Marvin is great (Destiny, Taunt and Lucky are great skills).
Troy is ok.
Chaz is great (so many melee attacks!).
Ivy is really good (starting with Sniper is wonderful).
Eva us ok (starting her with the pistol is a good choice).
Carboard Tube Samurai is pathetic (he should have a special unique weapon (2D6 3+ D2) or a unique ability (Path to Ruin - Move through Zone and attack each zombie in zone with a single melee attack before moving out of zone for free - use once per round).
CTS really has nothing that makes him useful, and the Katana is a lousy weapon. Zombivors are fun though!
Coolmini is telling me that my order was shipped to the address at which I currently reside, but still there is no package for me. It should have been here by now, but it's not. I am livid. If it turns out it's been stolen, I have no chance at getting those miniatures again.
Consolidated list of new skills here for convenience, will add them to OP eventually
DREADNOUGHT: [ZOMBIE TYPE] – The Survivor ignores all Wounds coming from Standard Zombies of the specified type.

Carboard Tube Samurai is pathetic
My experience with the new Survivors soo far.
Marvin - is great on paper, but none of our players really used Taunt, taking lucky instead
Troy - Dual wielding Sawed off Shotguns and hitting on a 2+, with re-rolls for extra ammo, he was unstoppable
Chaz - just couldn't live up to his reputation. Having 5+ melee attacks still requires you to be in melee and actually hit with those rolls. He got eaten twice when he got swarmed by a mob of zombies he should have been able to defeat solo, but rolled poorly. Solid character none the less, we just had no luck with him
Ivy - starting with sniper lets her fire into melee mercelessly and pick pick out runners right from the get go
Eva - gets her hands on a shotgun and starts racking up a kill count
Claudia - gets the most mileage out of the chainsaw, out of everyone in the game, hitting on a 4+ on 6 Dice. Low profile letting her rush into combat without fouling up lines of fire for her friends.
Cardboard Tube Samurai - Katana is an okay starting weapon. You won't be dispatching fatties without better weapons, or getting to red, and by then you will have better weapons, but all that didn't matter to my gaming group. In 3 seperate games CTS ended up dual wielding SMGs with the full blessings of the DICE GODS, laying waste to statistically unlikely large numbers of walkers. More than one player suggested he should have had SwordMaster so he could dual wield Katanas.
Everyone has been loving the new survivors. The only veteran to get any play this weekend was Nick. Starting Tough is too tough to pass up.

Why are kickstarters so damn frustrating?
How long has it been?
Australia Post should not leave parcels that are big enough for the van drivers unattended on your doorstep - they should be carded instead. Unfortunately, most of the van drivers these days are subcontractors and not actual employees. I've had an expensive parcel dropped off at the local LPO on a Friday aftenoon after the lazy fether didn't even bother to try and deliver it (to my work, I waited there till 5:30pm). He dropped it at the LPO without even carding it, which I only found out about much later. I ended getting it a week later after calling the retailer and ringing both LPOs in my local area. Actually, from memory it was a huge box with 2x Dark Vengeance LE and a pile of Heroscape stuff in it. I was not happy.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Point-blank – When firing at Range 0, the Survivor chooses freely the targets of his Ranged Combat Actions and can kill any type of Zombies (including Berserker Zombies). His Ranged weapons still need to inflict enough Damage to kill his targets.
The Point-Blank Skill is perfect to make use of Ranged weapons like you would with Melee weapons. It's especially useful against Berserker Zombies and very spectacular with Sawed-offs loaded with both Plenty of ammo and Spare change.
By the way, what is Spare change? That's another story.
REAPER: COMBAT – Use this Skill when assigning hits while resolving a Combat Action. One of these hits can freely kill an additional identical Zombie in the same Zone. Only a single additional Zombie can be killed per Action when using this Skill.
Off the top of my head I think it was the 28th of last month.
Wave 2 of Season 1 should be in hands of all those who pledged for it. I've had mine for nearly a month and I was on the back end of peopel receiving it.
Here is Mitch from Special Guest Kevin Walker box...
Just... Wow. A French player group (from Martinique, with love) created wooden ID cards for Season 1. Note the illuminated and giant-sized first player marker, the experience circle and the Skill wooden tokens. An amazing work from Xavier Laurent!
We're a little ahead of schedule on Season 2, so we will likely be shipping through August instead of September as originally planned. Please make sure your address is up-to-date in the pledge manager: https://ckpm.coolminiornot.com- if you don't have a login link, request a password reset using the email address you supplied us in the survey, or if that doesn't work, your Kickstarter email address (if different).
These are the items that will ship in wave 1:

◾Zombicide Season 1
◾BOZ1 - Walk of the Dead
◾BOZ2 - Toxic Crowd
◾BOZ3 - Angry Zombies
◾BOZ4 - Walk of the Dead 2
◾All 3 Tile Packs

◾Skull trackers
◾Red Dice
◾Orange Dice
◾Glow in the Dark Dice
◾Zombie Dogz
◾Companion Dogs
◾Dakota

◾Adrian Smith box
◾Karl Kopinski box
◾Kevin Walker box
◾Moustache Pack
◾Helen

◾Ross
◾Fred
We'll also be launching the game at Gencon which is in August, so you may be shipped before or after Gencon - there shouldn't be a huge difference between USA and Europe as containers will be leaving at the same time.
No it makes far more sense for them to have product ready for sale at Gencon vs. the month after. And they couldn't very well be selling product to the general public before shipping it to the Kickstart backers as that would just look bad and have a negative effect on future kickstarters for Zombicide.

Project Update #45: Zombicide 2 - last chance to fix address for shipment 1
Posted by CoolMiniOrNot
We'll be generating shipping labels from next Monday, so if you haven't already logged in to the pledge manager here: https://ckpm.coolminiornot.com and confirmed your address please do so immediately. Shipments will go to your confirmed address as of 14th July 2013, or if you do not confirm your address by then, after this initial shipment has gone out (i.e. after everyone else).
If you don't have a password, please request a password reset at the email address you gave us on your survey, and then check your spam folder.
Our friend and big brother Paolo Parente is now spending his time at San Diego comics (bastard) and today he has shown the first of 4 drawings he created for a new Zombicide Special Guest box.... And here we share... In 2014 the box will see the light!
Gencon pickups - Zombicide S1, Prison Outbreak and Toxic City Mall only
Update #46 - For backers only · Aug 7, 2013 · 30 comments
Gencon is in a couple of days (August 15th to 18th). We'll be bringing limited copies of Prison Outbreak and Toxic City Mall (and Zombicide S1) to Gencon, and they will be available for Kickstarter backers to pick up while stocks last.
In order to collect them, you'll need to bring a print out of your packing slip from the Pledge Manager (https://ckpm.coolminiornot.com) and a photo id to confirm your identity, which must match your packing slip. No exceptions - if you forget your slip/login/id we'll ship it to you as normal.
If you do pick up your games at Gencon, the rest of the wave 1 stuff will ship to you after Gencon (i.e. Dogz, Dog Companions, Box of Zombies, KS exclusives etc) - we won't be bringing any of these to the show.
Some Season 3 news has come to light from the brazillian RPG con. They are considering a "10 Years later" theme with weaker malnourished zombies. They are also considering moving to a more team based setup with more to consider for survival then just killing / avoiding zombies.
Gencon update #2 - Saturday pickup only
Update #47 - For backers only · Aug 12, 2013 · 5 comments
The train Season 2 is on has been held up on the train from LA to our Atlanta warehouse (apparently by a union), so we're only expecting it on Friday rather than last week as originally planned.
What this means is that we will be trucking up the Prison Outbreak and Toxic City Mall to Gencon Friday night to get there Saturday morning. This is if there are no further delays to the train. So if you're planning a Gencon pickup, please come by on Saturday, we won't have anything for you on Thursday or Friday.
If the situation changes we will update again as we get more information.
Guillotine Games wrote:We have a nice website update today: the gallery has some new portrayals. Toxic City Mall and Prison Outbreak survivors/zombivors are featured, as well as their toxic and berserker zombie foes!
Here you'll learn about their history and game mechanics. Skills, anyone?
Have a nice week-end!

shipping and stock problems have now affected Zombicide only The boxed games will ship now with the wave 1 extras to follow in October and Wave 2 next year as planned
Project Update #50: Shipping begins
Posted by CoolMiniOrNot
We've started shipping (albeit a little slowly as we get the line geared up), and tracking emails should start going out every other day when we have a chance to batch upload them.
EU shipping has not begun as it is waiting on custom packaging and one container to arrive (with Dogz and Companion Dogs), once that clears customs and is in the warehouse you will see tracking info appearing via UPS emails as well.
Thank you for your patience as we try to get you your rewards as quickly as possible!
Project Update #52: Shipping update - core games only being shipped
Posted by CoolMiniOrNot
Due to the chaos of Gencon, we've just realized that one of the containers destined for the USA warehouse containing part of the Fugitive packs, Lea, Dakota, etc is still not with us.
In order to not create further delays in shipping, we're going to start shipping the core games (Toxic City Mall, Zombicide and Prison Outbreak) from both US and UK warehouses immediately.
The rest of the items will instead be added to the 2nd shipment, which we are working to advance to December rather than Q1 2014.
We're very sorry for this weird turn of events, and are working to get you your games as quickly as possible.
Good news everyone! We'll be shipping out the core games (Season 1, Prison Outbreak, Toxic City Mall) from today. (Shipment 1)
We will be shipping the remaining items from shipment 1 from October 1st.(Shipment 1.5).
Shipment 2 will be as normal (Shipment 2)
Once again, sorry for the delay and confusion. Packing slips and shipment info will be updated on your pledge manager as soon as we can, but you should receive tracking info for your core games very soon as we start batch uploading.
Also thank you for those that suggested holding off, but we want to bring everyone up to parity with the convention pick ups (who only picked up core games) as soon as possible, and the everyone will be on the same footing.
Had mine when I got home from work today prison outbreak, zombie dogs, comp. dogs, extra zombies, dice, and survivor pack with brad, thaissa, Kirk, rose and Ralph including zombievor versions. Now to learn how to play.
Popobates wrote: I got an email monday with a fed ex tracking number but it never updated. When I came home today, my wife said it came with the regular mail.
I think FEDEX calls it Smart Post. Basically FEDEX delivers to your post office who then gets it to the actual delivery address.
I also received the extra dice, survivors, zombies, z dogs, and c dogs in my order. Does anyone know the last update that had the link to the wave/shipment thing personalized to you? I would like to make sure they don't send me all the stuff again, I'd hate to take someone less extra stuff.
Mine just came in. First time ever had two KS's deliver on the same day. Dice, survivors, zombies and dogs were in the box. Was shipped on Monday. Now need to make a decision whether to eBay the extras or not while the value is inflated.
Popobates wrote: Where/how do we get the .44 magnum and flamethrower weapon cards?
They are in the Toxic City Mall expansion. I plan on just copying their stats down when I find them out so I can use Dirty Harry and the lady from Murder She Wrote.
If this is the wrong place for this let me know. Totally digging the game. LOVE the fact that it can be pimped out and customized pretty easy. I did some custom cards today... opinions welcome![img]
They seem over powered. Your extra starting skill should always be in the blue spot, not off to the side written on the card. It makes them too strong.
Also, the +1 skill is a universal ( I believe) yellow ability.
You have a lot of ninja, sword master, gunslinger etc etc. Variety is the spice of life. Try using some other abilities when making cards.

While the warehouse teams on both sides of the Atlantic ship out your core games (some of you already have them and we hope like the games!)...
We'd like to introduce you to two new characters, Charles and Elena....
Dressed as Wrath of Kings cosplayers, read more about them here! These Survivors are Wrath of Kings Kickstarter exclusives!
No CMON no WOK is another kickstarter and this is not the way to crospromote, I am not interested in it and do not want to buy anything from it just to have all the survivors.
These guys don't really appeal to me enough to pledge, but enough people on the update comments agreed with you that they've dropped the faction starter requirement for zombicide backers. From the CMON comment:
"We've done these cross overs before (SDE for Relic Knights), but we hear you. For Zombicide 1 and Zombicide 2 backers ONLY, just add a $10 handling fee and you can pick up as many of Elena and Charles as you want without picking up Wrath models. You'll need to use the same email address as the Z1 or Z2 Kickstarters for the pledge manager so we can link your accounts."

Man, those look stoooopid! A fat guy in a pig mask and some bodiced chick with head blades that serve no purpose other than promulgating a serious neck injury if grasped and twisted in a fight.
Of course, if you don't like those two, you can sub in any other pair of sword & board-armed figures as different cosplayers and just use the cards for these two.
Updated rulebook for Season 2 has been uploaded apparently there's issues with some of the scenarios in the original version (not having mine yet I wouldn't know!)
A new version of Prison Outbreak rules is now available online. After the first player feedbacks, we decided to add open doors on some mission maps, in order to define the possible paths in a clearer manner.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
CptJake wrote: Dang. I hate when there is an update to a book that hasn't even been delivered yet.
Its better than running for days... weeks... months... or YEARS without a corrected rule or book. And the rulebook is also available for FREE to download long before you can ever purchase the printed copy. I don't even use my printed book, it has stayed in the box from day one. I have let other players use it for reference but I stick with my PDF on my iPad.
Having played the first two missions, I think that they are just placing broken door counters on areas that had open doorways on one tile but none on the other (at least two of these on M01) to avoid confusion.
So I don't think they are actually changing anything, just clarifying things.
So is this shipping or not? I thought I heard they wanted everything (well, that was supposed to be) shipped by the end of September and here it is almost the end of the first week of October. Any shipping updates?

I just received an email with a shipping update and tracking number this afternoon. I was just about to send cmon an email myself asking about shipping. I don't know what to suggest, my link actually has a working tracking number so I can post an update when the package arrives.
rwwin wrote: Ephrael, is this your notice for wave 1, wave 1.5 or both?
Phase 1, when I check on my packing slip it says that the wave 1.5 is included in the wave 1 order so hopefully I'll get everything in this one shipment. I ordered the Inmate pledge level and all of the extra survivor and dogs add ons except the Guest Artist sets. I'll update here when I receive my shipment and let you know what they actually sent me.
Thanks. I got the Wave I stuff a few weeks ago and if they start shipping wave 1 and 1.5 together, the lone 1.5 shipments should be next on the list. I think there was a mid October estimate on one of the updates.
Well, I got everything except the Mustache Pack and the last few stretch goal survivors at the end of August, so I really don't know what they are doing...
I still haven't even gotten tracking information yet. I'm not too terribly worried at the moment, but I only went for the $100 pledge plus most of the add on characters and the moustache pack.

I believe they held off shipping more items at some point when the rest of what was going to be Wave 1.5 was confirmed as about to land. It also allowed them to say that they successfully shipped & delivered this campaign on time (for a few lucky people). I dunno, they're not very big, so perhaps they've been concentrating more on shipping Sedition Wars so they can finally put it to rest?
Either way, their stellar communication with backers has resumed, now that the WoK KS has concluded.
The first sightings are in from the field! Mr Bellygrub received his today! I of course. Did not. More to come after the jump. Pics courtesy of Mr Grub.
Spoiler:
And look at it all! look at it!
And the extra stretch goal zombies.
Looks like all the extra survivors are not included. The base games and the stretch goal zombies, dogs, companion dogs.
CMON have finally heard back from Battlefoam about shipping numbers (after much chasing). Battlefoam have managed to post out 59 games in 6 weeks. I think given the proportion are European orders they only have to send out it's only another 4,000 odd to go (or 380 weeks worth of shipping).
There are more more models then I expected this run.
The plastic is a bit harder then the first game. Makes the pegs seems unnecessary. Since a few of my dogs popped off I'll be clipping them and gluing them down.
So much awesome stuff. It's a bit overwhelming!
Edit:
Ok I've gone through stuff a bit more. Here are some blurry Sasquatch pics. I'll drop them behind a spoiler tag.
And what I thought was a solid peg on the dogs is actually a little "flight stand". So that's pretty cool. I'll still be snipping it though
Mine arrived this morning out of tyhe blue, beat the tracking info it seems.
Nice, didn't realize it would be that much, so more to paint, but its looking a mighty fine set now combined with season one.
I may be losing it, but is there a second wave due at some point?
I seem to remember i should have had a Burt Reynolds pack, and some extras based of Adrian Smiths art if i recall.

Did you get the dogs and bonus KS zombies with your shipment? I'm assuming by now the UK ones are shipping as combined wave 1 & 1.5.
Yeah, got the Zombie and companion dogs and a five pack of extra characters that included Dakota, oh and four extra single character packs.
After a flick through, really like the Prison pack, and the Mall, going to be fun having all those boards. Oh and the variation of zombie sculpts compared to season one is nice to see up close.
Looking forward to the idea of painting them, but it sadly won't be till the start of the new year, my painting bench is full till then.
On the zeds I cheat and use AP dark tone quick shade. They need a tough coating as they get some heavy handling. I do a proper paintjob on the survivors.
Had mine sent to work, and if I'd opened all the boxes, I'd have been up to my neck in brain-dead groaners within the hour. As it is, I suppose I'll have to make do with my co-workers until I can get home!
Still, it was a BIG box. PO, TCM, 4 extra TCM tiles, PO pack 'A', Zombie Dogz, dog companions, Rick, Lea, and Dakota. 6KG. And I didn't get the tracking info until last night!
Still looking forward to the 2 different artist packs, Moustache pack, and the other 3 survivors I ordered.
O feth it, the idiots sent my package -- from the US. Meaning I will be in a tiff with them over the inevitable customs charges pretty soon; I'm pretty sure misrepresenting shipping origin and therefore saddling me with substantial customs fees is something mastercard sufficiently dislikes to issue a chargeback in that amount - will see if it works.
Slinky wrote: Mine is apparently with UPS, should be delivered today.
Better hope you are in when they arrive then. For my wave 1 stuff UPS sent me a delivery confirmation email stating delivery location as "porch" which might have been ok if (a) I wasn't on holiday in Switzerland at the time, (b) it didn't rain solidly for the next 3 days and (c) porch didn't translate as "we left it on the pavement by the bins". It's a good job the zombicide boxes themselves are shrink-wrapped.
I wasn't at home, but it was apparently left at "front desk" and signed for... Hopefully that means my wife signed for it, though when she installed a reception desk I'm not sure
Just played my first game of Zombicide (with a friend's set, including the new stuff) last night. It was really fun! No wonder people were so happy with this, but unhappy with Sedition Wars, where the game isn't very playable / fun (which is pretty much the point of a board game).
Can't wait to try it again . I went out in a blaze of glory with the chainsaw, claiming a few objectives for our team along the way
Came home from work yesterday to find a huge box o zeds waiting.
I too had forgotten quite how much stuff was coming, I will literally have to move a load of old stuff to the loft to make room for it all as i have filled up the whole office with wargames again. The mrs is not best pleased at the moment!
Have any of you guys who are still waiting for your orders checked the CMON 'Kickstarter pledge manager' website recently?
I haven't heard a thing about my order from CMON, but after checking the CKPM website yesterday i noticed that my order was actually sent out back on the 14th. CMON just never bothered sending me an email notification about it...
I picked mine up from the post office today, the box it came in was absolutely fething massive...
Does anyone know what happened to the Berserker Abomination shown in the bottom right of this picture? both of the Berserker Abominations i received were of the model with his right hand as a claw, while the one in the picture has his right hand balled up into a fist and his body is twisted at more of an angle.

The pics posted on page 45 also have the normal clawed berserker abomination instead of the one pictured.

I got all my stuff last week, and managed to play an epic game using everything at the weekend. During the game I discovered that Zombie Elsa (Cat Burglar) is quite game breaking in Ultrared mode. She is able to get the Slippery and Rotten skills at the same time, which means she can just move around the map with impunity, snatching objectives. Zombies don't even look at her. I guess it fits her character, but it turns some of the harder objective missions into easy wins, so you might want to limit her in campaigns.
The big game was fun, but it took a lot of hours to play out, and left me feeling that maybe less is more when it comes to Zombies and Equipment. Having so many equipment cards made it difficult to find important things like Gasoline when you needed it. Then using all the Zombie trays meant that stupid amounts of Zombies (150+) could pile up behind security gates while you searched. Also cool equipment like the Assault Rifle and Concrete Saw never appeared until much later in the game. By that time everyone was already styling Ultrared weapons, so they ended up straight in the discard pile.
I think next time I play I will limit the Zombies to 2 trays, like Toxic + Normal, or Berserk + Dogs. I will also try to cut a lot of fat from the equipment deck, like no more than 2 of each weapon type (maybe just 1 for weapons that aren't dual wield). And I'll probably remove the Kukri from the deck completely, as it's too similar to the starter weapons and things like the Wakizachi to be interesting.
The Ultrared weapons were really fun, but playing with all six seemed a bit OTT. Next time I think I'll just play with 1 random Ultrared weapon in the deck, to keep it special. Or else make it the reward for taking down an objective/abomination instead of the usual +5exp.
Hopefully that will fix some of the issues we had. But otherwise might need to house rule a few things, such as the number of zombies that can fit in one zone. I was thinking it might also be a good idea to add in a rule for an item specific search, for times when the game can't advance until a certain item is found (usually the Gasoline). The way it works in you can search X number of cards (maybe 5 or 10 or 2D6) for a specific named item. If you find the item you can keep it, but any other items you find must be discarded. Any Aaahh! cards get played as normal, or could be switched for a Zombie card to make it more challenging.
So, having checked my stuff, I got 3 different language versions of the rules - including English - with both my Zombie dogz and the Companion dogs. I also have realised that I have a mountain of orange jumpsuits to paint, or should I go for pink?
I have also thought about going for a more subtle difference between my normal, toxic, and beserker zombies. I like the way that they have been painted both here and elsewhere, but it is possibly that that has made me want to do something different. Hopefully I'll have some time to work on a fatty of each type over the weekend and post the results here early next week.
Hope everyone else gets anything that's missing with minimal fuss, and we don't have to wait too long for the rest of the stuff.

I started with more subtle differences between the types but found that it was just easier to play when it was very, very obvious which was which so repainted the test ones in stronger colours. You may find the same thing once there are 50+ random zombies piled into one square so I'd suggest if you are going subtle on the zeds you do something with the bases to make them more easily discernable in a crowd.
Certainly. All base rims are not painted. Therefore standard zombies have grey rims and greyish skin, toxics have green rims and greenish skin, and beserkers have red rims and reddish skin.
you shouls get a better idea next week when I can add in some pics. I'll try and get a couple undercoated tonight when I get in from work so I can post up a comparison shot on Monday.
I'm going to paint the Berserkers along the lines of this:
Spoiler:
Posted to the Guillotine Games Facebook page a couple weeks ago. Really like the skin tone, and should work well with my current scheme for regular Zeds.
Thinking greeny-beige flesh and reddish pustules for the Toxics (to keep in line with the artwork), similar to this, though not entirely certain about it just yet.

Thought I'd share this. I am doing a 3d version of the game and wanted to add in event cards and create my own spawn cards.
Spoiler:
[glow=red,2,300]Well Friday delivered my custom Spawn and Event Cards![/glow]
Following the Zombicide formula I decided to create my own Zombie generation cards. I created 2 decks that cover the 4 versions of zombies now offered from the 2 Kickstarters; Season 1, Season 2, Toxic, and Berserker Zombies. Woot!
Here are examples of the cards. Basically I'll draw a card whenever it calls for zombies to spawn. The animation on the card itself represents the type of zombie that'll be spawned. *All credit and creative rights are owned by Guillotine Games.
So starting left and going clockwise you have Season 1, Season 2, Berserker Fatty, and a Toxic Fatty.
Berserker runner, Season 2 Fatty, Season 2 runner, Toxic Fatty
Couple close ups. The number denotes how many zombies will spawn.
And EVENT CARDS!
Following the ATZ event cards I had purchased I set about scouring the internet for pictures to use in my own set of Event Cards. *All Images and creative rights are owned by AMC The Walking Dead.
The trick is to get images with at least 300dpi.
The deck
You want some too!? This card will give the player +2 to melee against berserker zombies. The player can hold this card and play it when they want.
CAUTION! This card will cause the humans to move at 1/2 speed for 1 turn due to being cautious.
RUN! This will give the runner zombies one free movement
ZOMBIE! This card will cause one of the humans to fire their weapon thinking they've seen a zombie and thereby creating a noise counter.
Weapon Jam! One survivors weapon will jam causing the player to spend 1 action clearing the jam.
Medpack. When flipped the player can use the medpack to heal 1 box
Fast Zombies! This card will spawn 1d6+2 runners
Ammo! When flipped a player can resupply 1 clip of ammo.
Hail to the King! This will give +1 to melee against berserkers. The player can hold this card and play it when they want.
Reshuffle the spawn deck.
And my personal favorite.
BOOMSTICK! +2 to shooting for the turn. The player can hold this card and play it when they want.
And here are what the backs of the cards look like.
So I'll only have 10 or so event cards mixed into the spawn deck. Some cards are immediate and others can be held and played later. Once used the event cards are removed. If a reshuffle happens new event cards will be swapped into the deck replacing the used cards. Shuffles will happen either by flipping and event card or the spawn deck runs out.
[spoiler]
Nice. But how about adding in the extra spawns on the fatty cards? So you actually show the 2 walkers that are supposed to spawn every time a fatty is spawned.
Given my post in the Sedition Wars thread, I would like to say here that I think PVC is a perfect medium for the Zombicide figures. I was very impressed with the feel of the game- the tiles, miniatures, tokens, all felt "right"! Very well done all around, imo
Got my second game in, this time with the mall set (last one was with prison break). I think the berserker and toxic zombies are both really helpful to the game, and the dogs are just plain scary! (Or awesome if you get a friendly one)
I actually got a tracking number. Of course, my stuff hasn;'t actually been picked up. It's one of those Electronic Shipping Info Received deals, so if I'm lucky, I'll have my stuff at the end of Nov/start of Dec. I guess 2-3 months is a "fast" delay by KS standards, but it's still annoying when it took them almost 2 months to ship all of the pledges...

It's not like they had nearly 10,000 customizable orders or anything.

It's not like they knew they would have them in advance and prepare for them/put on extra temp staff/etc, is it? Must have been an awful shock when they turned up on their doorstep!
Anyone happen to have a good way to actually contact the CMON team? A little worried that I haven't received my stuff and they're claiming all the EU packages should have been received. I've been trying to get them through the KS site for a while and no reply...

That's the right way. They said in an update that they were 4 business days behind on emails due to moving the full team to shipping and fulfillment.
As an update, my box arrived today.
It contained 1x Toxic City Mall and 1x Prison Outbreak.
It should have contained a hell of a lot more. Here's my Phase 1 stuff:
2 TOXIC CITY MALL EXPANSION
2 PRISON OUTBREAK GAME
1 SEASON 1 ZOMBICIDE
2 PRISON OUTBREAK PACK A
2 ZOMBIE DOGZ
2 DOG COMPANIONS
2 ADRIANA
2 RICK
2 LEA
2 DAKOTA
1 ORANGE CUSTOM DICE
1 RED CUSTOM DICE
1 WHITE CUSTOM DICE
1 BLACK CUSTOM DICE
1 GLOW IN THE DARK CUSTOM DICE
You could suggest "maybe there's another box" - which would be reasonable, but then, the box that arrived matched the one tracking number that they sent me, with *no* second tracking number or mention of a second box being sent...
The comments on the KS page seem to indicate that my experience is far from an isolated case. I doubt I'll ever give these feth heads money again.
Cincy, I know you're a CMON fan, but they're apparently completely fething incompetent.
Dunno. There's a whole lot of people with messed up orders on the first page of the contents. I'm not in a particularly charitable mood about the whole thing right now, given just how badly my order was fethed up.

Ditto. Admittedly I got my wave 1 stuff early enough that I knew it had shipped before the missing UK container showed up so I've been expecting a wave 1.5 shipment to arrive with the rest in but I've heard nothing concrete about it and the pledge manager suggests they think they've already sent me everything in a single shipment.
You probably want to get in contact with them (or BFUK) ASAP, since I doubt they'll fix the issues up without being prompted.
I also didn't get a packing slip in my box, though that doesn't give me any comfort, since if you were splitting an order into two boxes, wouldn't you put the tracking number onto the larger one, not the smaller one?
I did get a packing slip, or at least the sodden remains of one since UPS decided to just leave my package in the rain outside my house for 3 days (I was on holiday at the time). I had an initial confirmation from CMON that they had only shipped TCM and PO boxes at that time due to the delayed container. Will have to see what response I get to the facebook PM I've sent querying the rest.
On the plus side, if they haven't arrived yet at least I don't have to paint the ruddy things.
I yes, I recall reading about that. Mine was only sent a couple of weeks ago, when they presumably had all things fixed, and with no indication that there were any issues with any of the items. Besides, I ordered 2x PO and 2x TCM, so even a delayed container doesn't work as an excuse for mine.
Really pleased with the results. Here's the process for anyone seeking to replicate the look:
Primed with Army Painter Necrotic Flesh
Citadel Foundation Solar Macharius Orange on clothing
Citadel Bugman's Glow thinned with Vallejo Thinner Medium and washed over skin
Drybrush Army Painter Necrotic Flesh over skin
Any combination of dark brown and sand yellow for hair and boots, then drybrushed by adding an off-white
Brush-dipped using Minwax Polyshades Antique Walnut stain
Matte sealer to remove glossiness
2:1:1 mix Reaper MSP Brown Ink, Vallejo Transparent Red, and Reaper MSP Black Ink for blood/gore effects
Citadel Devlan Mud washed into eye sockets for added depth
Eyes painted pure white
Final Matte sealing
Vallejo Gloss Varnish applied to blood/gore, focusing mostly on the skin areas, leaving clothes alone for most part
Just FYI, I'm an entire package down (same boat as azazelx - I only got the base games and nothing else), and CMON have been ignoring my messages on KS for 2 weeks now.
Tried contacting Guillotine Games themselves through facebook yesterday, and I'm hoping I'll have a little more luck there.
I've not been one of the voices against CMON here - 2 weeks is a little longer than the 4 days advertised, so I was just warning HBMC that the delay may be a little longer than expected when he gets in touch.
Automatically Appended Next Post: And on the plus side, got a UPS tracking no today, so looks like they may have sorted it! Will let you know when it arrives
Got my tracking info for (hopefully) the missing wave 1.5 stuff today as well. I know a couple other UK people who also got the tracking emails today so it looks like they were sorting them out en masse.
I received both an additional box, and on the following day, a response from CMON.
The additonal box had almost everything that was missing, except for my copy of Season 1. Also, no packing slip again.
The email reply was as follows:
I do apologize for the delay in response. You will be receiving an additional box if you have not received already, I was only able to upload one tracking number. Your second box will contain all items that were listed in your email. You can track this package via USPS: (correct tracking number for box #2)
I was also informed that my ticket had been closed, so now I've had to respond again, asking for my S1 box, which hasn't been supplied. Though CMON seem to think it has...
Well, my wave 1.5 stuff finally showed up. No shipping manifest for it but nothing is missing from what I was expecting to get. Think I'll have to prioritise the zombie dogs in my painting schedule as a nasty surprise for the next game I run. Triple activation? Ouch.
Azazelx wrote: How are the Angry Zombies different to other Zombies?
Is saying they're angry too obvious :-P ?
I mean is it a different set of add-on figures?
nm. answered my own question:
Angry Zombies- Berserker sculpts from Prison Outbreak
15 Berserker Walkers (5 are mix of 2 BOZ only sculpts)
6 Berserker Runners
3 Berserker Fatties (2 of one BOZ only sculpt)
6 Zombie spawn cards
"BOZ only" stands for sculpts of models normally only available in that Box of Zombies, i.e. they are not replicated in the base game. Note, at Inmate and above pledges, you will already receive copies of these sculpts free from our unlocked stretch goals.
They are part of the set label Prsion Outbreak pack B on the wave 2 shipping pdf in the same way that some of the orginal stretch goal survivors are part of Prison Outbreak pack A aren't listed separately on the pdf.
Welp. A week passed and no response to my lack of S1 box. Cincy - you said they were about 3-4 days behind due to shipping - isn't shipping supposed to be done by now?
Looks like CMON has their heads well and truly in the sand on this one. And from the comments, I'm far from alone on this gigantic clusterfeth of a fulfilment.
As I predicted, since they don't have another Kickstarter to pimp right now, they've gone completely dark.

Alright, so what we do is construct a large wooden rabbit and leave it outside CMON. Once they've taken it inside their gates, Galahad, Lancelot, You and I leap out of the rabbit, taking them completely by surprise.

Never seen Deadwood, hence why I missed the reference. Worth a watch?
Their FB post indicated your FLGS need to order them from Alliance distribution or CMoN directly. Apparently there is also some confusion as many retailers are selling them but they aren't supposed to?

The contests are ongoing. They pick one map a week, they win the prize. Hopefully the eventually release her like Kyoko so more than 30 people world wide get her.
I actually want to run a scenario with friends: everyone starts with a pistol and either a fireaxe or crowbar so you can enter rooms. Play until you die, or first person to max out stats wins. Last man standin/first maxed is the winner. I think it could be good fun. Start with 4 zombie spawn points, any time someone hits the red zone, add a new spawn point to the closest edge to the person who leveled. If you guys want, once I get it figured out how I like it, I'll post the full idea on here.
Well I've already got the first three guest packs, so now I guess I'll get the third. Now I just need to figure out how to get Amy, Austin Powers and that other promo character.
Happy week end to all of you! We hope it won't be too cold. And I hope it will be colder here where I am now (it was an incredible hot and humid Summer in the Southern hemisphere!)
Here some work in process... We are working on new zombie models and on new weapons. Long way before they will see the light but it is good to share.
There's an error on some of the Survivor cards that backers have been receiving it's not being received well and they won't be replacing them :(
We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the absence of the game aid numbers on the alert trackers in the Moustache pack and wave 2 ID Cards - this was an oversight not caught on the prototype boards we used for playtesting - Guillotine Games strives to make gameplay as intuitive and easy as possible for players (which is why we added numbers to the basic ID Card design originally).
However, we respectfully disagree that the ID Cards are unusable without the numbers. As this is a convenience and consistency issue on the design that does not affect gameplay, we will not be reprinting the ID Cards on these limited items. We have provided alternate ID Cards on guillotinegames.com with these numbers added in for those of you who would rather play with them. While this may not be an ideal solution for everyone who feels they cannot play these characters without the numbers, we believe this is consistent with industry practice. Otherwise we would be mailing out rulebooks and cards for every clarification, revision, correction or tweak we make.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused, and we appreciate the feedback.
Creator CoolMiniOrNot 1 day ago
@Donn - In regards to the missing numbers on the boards, we have spoken with Guillotine Games, and due to the fact that this does not directly affect gameplay as an aesthetic issue, we do not have plans to reprint the dashboards at this time. Downloadable versions of numbered dashboards are available on the Guillotine Games website under the “Promo Survivors” section. We apologize for any inconvenience.
This is the only image I've found notice the numbers are missing on the alert tracker (0 - 43) . That's a lot of cards hadn't realised it was that many until I saw the picture.
Yes it does to me and apparrently a lot of other people feel the same judging by recent comments. If nothing else it shows a lack of quality control and checking for the issue to happen on every card. Are they useable yes are they as user friendly as they should be no. The grid is still there but it's a lot more difficult to use you have to count along the grids rather than say go straight from 5 to 10, the yellow zone is very difficult to pick out individual sections without the numbers
Yeah, I wasn't too pleased to hear about the production error. Really, the entire kill tracking would have been better with something that didn't involve sliding a component across a card that also had a bunch of item cards sitting on top of it.
I wonder if it will be possible to print directly onto the cards at say, Kinkos?
I think backers are less concerned with the cards' usability, and more concerned that CMON/GG basically said "screw it, we aren't gonna bother fixing it." Wonder if they'd have said the same thing if say, for instance, character names were missing, or skills were left off, or the wrong character art was used.
Needless to say, it's really disappointing and a bit unacceptable for the order of magnitude they screwed up (basically, all KS exclusive promos had the error).
For those of you who are not already aware, the dashboards on the wave 2 exclusive characters are missing the numbers printed on to the alert tracker. Unfortunately, since the design team normally doesn't use the numbers when playing the game (and instead advancing the trackers in steps), these were missed in proofing and production on our end and only noticed by those of you who do actually find the numbers a necessary part of your gameplay.
If you have taken the time to let us know your thoughts on this matter, we thank you for your feedback, as well as those backers who’ve written to us over the past year about feeling left out due to missing Season 1.
It’s no big secret that we will be launching Season 3 of Zombicide soon, sometime in Q2. As a way of expressing our apologies for the inconvenience having to use the dashboards with the missing numbers, we will be providing backers that backed both Season 2 and Season 3 with a $10 credit to be applied to any Season 3 optional items in the CoolMiniOrNot pledge manager; this will happen automatically if you use the same email address on S3 as you did S2 - if not CoolMiniorNot will be able to link your accounts after the S3 campaign is complete.
We will also be providing free dashboards for all season 1 and season 2 promos and exclusives to any backer of Season 3 with necessary updates and amendments made (if any), so as to include those of you who missed season 1 or any of the optional exclusives (which you can then proxy other models for). This will also have the added benefit of being inclusive to new backers who want to join us in the world of Zombicide so they aren't left out of any gameplay. In the meantime, high resolution files of these dashboards will be available at http://zombicide.com for your own print and play.
Thank you for your continued support, and stay tuned for the Season 3 announcement!

TLDR: Back Season 3 and you'll get the dashboards for all S1 & S2 promos, if you were a S2 Backer your pledge manager will feature a $10 credit when you manage S3.
It'll do for me something like this wouldn't stop me backing season 3 and 1 of the promos will effectively be free it's a sort of guaranteed EB for season 2 backers.
If this game is still around in a few years those numberless dashboards might fetch a nice amount as collector pieces. Or they'll be useless cardboard. But, you never know!
I hope they offer the Season 1 promo character cards for sale as mine are getting beat up. That's the real problem with the LEs, you can't replace them.
I will only be backing season 3 as my group enjoys the game so much. It will give the game more variety.
I hope in season 3 they make some sort of detailed "campaign" system.

Yeah I found that annoying too, especially with slippy card sleeves. I usually just give everyone a pencil and some scrap-paper to tally off their kills.
