You MUST make more or some marine chapter will out tank the imperial guard. You must have something that shoots tanks, or the angry marines will be ble to boast about having THE tank army.
I think what thy meant by rocket fist is the old voltron lion heads that fly off the arms and hit the opponents then fly back . As for unnecessary, what about tank commanders with swords?
shasolenzabi wrote: I think Theo is struck by how awesome it looks in that poster!
I was too busy dodging the explosions and the tracks to worry about the sword . But I guess it's like the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects it so I must be effective. Orks running across he battlefield dodging shots, explosions, gutting some guard guys. He finally gets up close to the tank and has his stick bomb ready when his head pops off. When he gets to mushroom heaven (the place where all good boys go), he asks the tooth collector (the fit at the gate who collects an entrance fee, man does he have a racket going ) "wat happn?" The tooth collector laughs and says "yuz fergot da hummie ad a choppa!"
I still had some track guards left from the French Char-B1 bis model, and used them on this "Exterminator" variant of the Leman Russ
[/img]
Since they are a little rough at the ends, I may just do some rust effects for the ends
[/img]
Putty modded turret ring for the odd turret used also from the Char B1 kit.
[/img]
On the turret, I replaced the odd periscope mini-turret with a real commander's hatch, and added a periscope for viewing outside which is separate from the gun scopes for the auto-cannons, and oh so many comms!
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
And I need to finish the markings for super-heavy division and muddy/dirty the T-290 multi turret monster
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
[/img]
These too shall be worked to the level most have come to know and like!
@Dave; I know! the Orks envy all Khadrovian stuff and will nick vehicles at any opportunity! Magnotz, leader of WAAAGH!!! Magnotz! has been heard to say "Oy! I wantz wun a dem multi kannon battle waggunz! get me one now!"
@Theo; But launching it would ruin the regimental banner draped across the stowage bins on the back!
Okay, I have 1st and 2nd edition Bauhaus minis, have to find my 3rd unit of jungle commandos, as they have the cool rotary shotgun weapons! But the mountain troops as a command squad for now, and a Hussar squad as a vet-grenadier squad with the 3 special weapons.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, the regular IG guys mixed in are the Thudd crews of 3 men each
oh... never saw these Bauhaus minis before... I have only the starter kit stuff... in abandon...^^ these look rather cool...and have a wider variety than mine...
Well the riders I was thinking of converting for my boys kroot army. the light infantry a beefy scout squad for his marine army (love the mounty hats) and I have no idea beyond maybe my other boys chaos for the hussars. Although seeing your guys on here I may be persuaded to part with the Hussars to someone who can do them more justice than me.

Soo many projects so little time and all.
Would love the Hussars, will need to work out a way or exchange in PM?
Believe it or not, though they are "Table top ready paints wise, they have some touches and camo work to b finished, but here, I present command and one squad of the 144Th Kruegerian Grenadiers.
Full command group

Vet sgt., rifleman, Radioman, and officer.
[/img]
More rifles, older Ausf-A armor can be the medic, LOL!
[/img]
Now for the full veteran squad
[/img]
Sgt, 2 vets, and a peek of the Heavy Flamer
[/img]
Hvy Flamer, rifle, Melta, rifle
[/img]
Rifles and the "Panzerknacker" Grenade launcher
[/img]
Veteran on sentry duty, here you can see the squad mark in black, with the 144 clear on the black marking
[/img]
Here, he has the camo on marking area on the right with the "Ace of Spades" insignia that the squad adopted for their own.
[/img]
"I have no idea why they stuck me walking the perimeter! I mean we get the privilege to have a little something nice in the barracks, right? So what if I had a lovely lady in the barracks?? Ach! Command are so Prudish!"
[/img] [/img]
Very nice paint job on these shaso. I never got into warzone, that's where these are from correct? The camo is excellent, so good I had to look twice t find the ace of spades.
In the grim darkness of the far future there are only white cards on white backing. No wonder everyone is at war, you can't chill out and play a decent game of cards.
good looking camo... is this a german reference camo by chance? I have seen that camno somewhere on some warzone minis already...and not yours I might add... looks very good mister...and knowing your medical condition I say respect for getting that done so good looking... you outdone yourself... have yourself half a holiday...and report back for perimeter duty later on today
Thanks guys!, and the camo pattern is a two-tone splinter camo concept. well, three tone counting the green background color for the desert yellow and XV-88 color over that, well inside that.
Yep, IG decals are all in white. Oh and I found that other squad, some Van Saar make up the rest of that veteran unit. Lighter armored than the rest, if the Hussars arrive, I will then have a new batch to paint like this all.
Also, since a lot of the painting is done at odd hours, hand painting is quieter than air brushing.
dsteingass wrote: Yes! You should always get minis first and foremost because you like them, I agree
And if I had the cash, Dreamforge Eisenkern troopers would be in the line up as part of the Krugerian Grenadiers!
I've got 60 of them and a crusader. I love them and need to assemble more of the troopers, but they are so tiny and fiddly my fat fingers have some problems.
wow... what is better than one gatling? right...two gatlings... omg!... that gun wielding guy is great... and also I like your painting... these have due to the hair and skin a more comic approach... but I think that suits them just fine!... really cool bunch shaso!

Sounds like you need the clamp station with the magnifier Theo! But yeah, I also want the Hannomags for the bunch, even some for the Bauhaus guys.

Vik, these were minis designed in the late 1980's and executed to form in the 1990's so the books have a certain comic approach as the art looked like comic books! Also, I had the issue of less steady hands when I made the eyebrows, and remembered from my army days that there are guys with such wild eyebrows of immense thickness, and one even had a what we called a unibrow!~ He never did cut that center down, just had the one long line of eyebrow hair all the way across from left to right!
well when your sergeants give you plenty of duties to do...then while you are sweating your bum off (literally) you have not so much time to make puns about your next mate...

Oddly enough I bought one a week ago and haven't used it yet.
Have you seen the pieces for the Eisenkern though, because they are that tiny. We give GW a lot of crud for the large hands, but it oes make putting a model together easier.
Oh I started with 1/72 scale models as a kid, so no big deal for me, well, before the arthritis kicked in that is. now tweezers for small parts of miniatures for me!
Yeah, I figured the accessory kit, 2 squads, and maybe 5 Hannomag 6 x 6 kits

decals followed the contours of the oddly shaped french turret, it has rust, a few touch ups, and then mud and dirt washes!
The one mantlet is for the cannon, the other for the coaxial machine gun, both operated by the commander as in 1/35th scale that is a single man turret! the spare cannon barrel was in the kit already, (Tamiya gave good for the money) I think the kit is now 60-70bucks, I got it for 55bucks at he time. German version has a split hatch atop the periscope I replaced with the hatch, and parts for making it a flame thrower in place of the 75mm cannon in the bow. )(May make for a good Malcador like Flamer tank!

Looking good dude. Changes the whole feel of the beast with the turret change. Looks so much better. I think that sometimes the twin guns can look weedy and out of place, but you have pulled it off nicely. Looks great.

Thanks Cam, the cannons are 1/35scale 47mm High Velocity anti tank guns, but for our purposes, auto-cannons but all weapons in WH40K are insanely over exaggerated, 1/35 scale 120mm is so skinny compared to the Leman Russ Battle Cannon, also listed as a 120mm, but even to a 28mm mini it seems more a 200-280mm weapon it is so ridiculously proportioned by GW
So, I painted the plumed on the captains' helmet, Wazdakka red base with Evils Sunz Scarlet and based them.(Glue seemed to have issues staying put to grab the flock.)

It can be seen that the older model Vanquishers are sporting an older layout of mufflers and jettisonable spare fuel tank on the rear compared to the newer split exhaust of later Khadrovian models of Leman Russ pattern tanks.
Is the red new? If so I like it , helps bring out more detail. If its old then so am i, So it doesn't matter much and it still looks good. Nice job on the weathering as well.
@Camkierhi; Between the Leman Apocalypse kit, individual kits, conversion of real world vehicles, the bane-blade, scratch builds and Old Crow Minis, I have lost count, Dave wants me to do a Strength Day Parade and pics it, but it will stretch over the length of the house! I may have between 60-100 of the things!
I also have the walkers to think of too!
Glad ya liked those!
@Theophony; Well, I added the red to the older tanks as a retro fit for my color codes. Black stripe on red field is Heavy support/Tanks. Black on Blue is transports, black on yellow-sand is artillery, red on white is super heavies.
@Dave; Someone has been strolling down Nostalgia lane there! But yeah, since the minis were molded back in the 1990's, that may have been an inspiration of sorts for the web gear.

if your still worried that a deathstrike missile would ruin the flag, you could also make a trailer for the beast to pull. In a bad attempt to improve reload times and transporting missiles to the front they put the deathstrike on a rickety tower ONTOP of an ammunitions hauler. little thought was put into the ammo cooking off when the rocket is launched
Orky idea yes! It would also give a good reason to have the really big explosion template from apocalypse ready as everything goes pop. drive forward so I can hit them with my sword and launcher the final solution.

the big ring on top... would that be fitting for a heavy weapon platform? could make a new good looking way to make HW teams...
Yep, pretty much that, but mobile and it looks like it can take a based soldier to man a gun and I need sitting men to drive Muwahahaha, I have some weapons that will fit it still.
Looking at the game image you supplied Dave, Once gotten, I will add some more details to the basic kit and make it oh so my own wild deal! I have a Heavy Flamer or two, and a Plasma cnnon waiting for some vehicles to mount on a weapon hard point for some awesome desert raiding!
The whole game is cell-shaded comic-book style, that is why everything has the black-lines, but it's really fun to race around, jumping and shooting other technicals
I PM'd Damo, to see if he can bootleg me those and a few of those Borderlands-style MDF buildings they make.
Don't forget to have plenty of bandits in it too Lots of creative paint options too Nekkid details
That must be from the first one, It looks like a 40k flamer if I ever saw one Althought the poor driver I have it on Steam, but haven't played it. I jumped right into 2, and well.....

Is this a resin model ? I cant seem to find any info as to its material
The Australian company that makes this uses MDF laser-cut material, so it will be almost as weighty as resin once built, but it is about as small as an Ork warbuggy They are also good for issues with customer service, and they made things up by stuffing an extra drop pod
shasolenzabi wrote: Based on what i have seen of the 3 view, they are each made of three laser cut parts, and you glue them all together
Now that makes sense that was what threw me and made me think it must be resin thanks for clearing that up for me as well
No problem, the vanes of the pods are 2 pieces I had to glue together, the kits they send always come with instructions that are super easy to understand. The look of the arms for the buggy also look 2-3 pieces, the 3rd being that bulge in the central spot.
shasolenzabi wrote: Oh, I can't afford the buggies, and would use sandpaper to smooth the buggies a bit once I can get them. I merely have the pods is all.
My mistake thanks for all the info though yes I thought sand it but was not sure if it scuffs at all I might invest in one soon for a trial

Yes, it is a real unusual scheme but works well, plus it has become your trademark I love the variation in your tank designs stops it becoming boring as most battalions look repetitive.
Thanks! I refer to it as a "Highland Tundra camo theme"
lone dirty dog wrote:Yes, it is a real unusual scheme but works well, plus it has become your trademark I love the variation in your tank designs stops it becoming boring as most battalions look repetitive.
Most players only had a single choice for their Leman Russ tanks so I had to go and get the revised kit(Older kit with new add ons), the latest Leman Kits(That new turret), and I went for alternate kits to convert, Old Crow kits, and scratch building to get the varied look of different designs otherwise it would have been another Leman Russ Spam forces.
lone dirty dog wrote: Yes, it is a real unusual scheme but works well, plus it has become your trademark I love the variation in your tank designs stops it becoming boring as most battalions look repetitive.
Qft. Any miniature army can have unusual camo, as long as it is consistent it is good in my eyes. If they were green/blue on one, red/orange on another, purple/yellow on another I could understand it to even be chaos camo two tone. If each model was splashed with different colors with no pattern consistent, then there's no way for me to begin to believe it was anything but an accident.
shasolenzabi wrote: Considering how chilly the majority of the Khadrovian planets in their star systems are, this camo pattern worked best for them in general.
i think i have long lost track (hurhurhur) of your many tanks shaso... i recognize old twice as big track tanky in the first pic... and the middle one in the second pic as well...OC if i am not mistaken?... looking super fine tho! so i guess it will be time to muddy them up a treat
@Theo; Yep, their "summer" the temps get a right balmy 10-15celsius! so marshy tundra with rocky escarpments. A real cross between Scottland and Siberia!
@Dave;, well it may take several hours of setting and taking pics at a game shop to have buildings and a street set up, if you lot do not worry about it, hours of lining up the soldiers and then the vehicles that will stretch down the length of the house!
@Vik; I figured that it may jog the mind a bit
BTW Youtube had a smaller scale version as they apparently celebrate the victory every May 9th aka Victory Day in Russia.
@Vik, yeah they had just 10 of their vehicles where in the past they would parade hundreds of tanks, and the other stuff, now they had just light recon/upgraded BTRs, just 10 T-90's 10 SPG's missile air and surface to surface mostly went with regiments of colored uniforms.
@Dave; Oh yeah, the set up will be interesting I have at least 8 worlds soldiers to show off, then the tanks, APC's artillery and superheavies to parade, and the walkers.
So, finally got one batch done to deal with a few more! but inks are almost out, and mud is low. I hope to have another influx of money in the next month or two so I can resupply myself this way faster. Meanwhile, enough about RL and on with the tanks!
Good 'ole 142, I was almost out of all the right parts as it is a older Leman Russ, and the double treads did take over the wheels, and such, so it's treads may look a little odd at points

This baby got BACK! the Demolisher I call "City Bell" and yes it has weight too as it is the old plastic leman with metal parts, like that engine cover for example the main cannon and the turret side armor along with the sponson plasma guns all metal kids!

And the squadron leader, 141, flamers and all. double tanks in the rear to support the righteous burning of xenos and heretic alike!

The oddball T-101 with the Battle Cannon in the lower hull, not the turret, odd thing is shortly after I made it with the twinlinked cannons in the turret, the DKoK book came out and I saw that FW had done the same thing, odd how that seems to support the Murphy's Rules.

Thanks Dave, I try to make all my stuff look as good as possible. I was surprised that they "squashed" the time honored Phaeton pattern turret and did not go Mars or Ryza pattern in plastic, or the option of such for the glacis plate thus ending the bow sponson, but well, I guess they didn't want to go too far and anger the loyal tread 'eads
it is always puzzling me how you still have work to do on your models...somehow your scheme makes me think I have already seen that tank fully done already

Well, I am adding the red to the white marking and green to the vision blocks on true-blue-52, and then it may take all the remainder of the mud I have mixed left. I have a old school Hellhound to paint and decal before dirtying it,m and 2 moire basic Leman Russ (T-100) to do as well. I have to touch or retouch the Baneblade as the last of the older models to wrap up, as well as the S-Tank Valdor I have the "Monster" super heavy walker next and over one hundred infantry to do! my work is never done! Oh and the Hussars once Cam can send them. I expect due to the bum ankle that they were delayed, no worries, better for him to rest and heal

Thyanks, but where? I just double checked, all are flat side glued for the appropriate droop, hang, etc.

Nothing major, I was just nitpicking. It's the last tank. The straps are upside down. The buckle is below the end of the strap, so there might be some curling of the strap due to gravity. Not even worth messing with in my opinion, I think I was just being feisty last night sorry.
@Theo. Ah, well when I did it, it was an option, I went with it, but some greenstuff in retro-spect might have helped a bit, but I did deal with some fairly stiff straps in my day.
@Cormade: Next up is the Monster of a walker which actually dwarfs a Leman, I will have the leman next to it to show the size of the beast.

surprise momentum on your side is 90% of the actual win... if the opponent needs to figure out what is what he wastes precious amount of cognitive capacity...now paint everything pink and you have yourself a sure winning army
Maybe if ti fired all of them in one direction, but the "arms " would be used for other targets while the cannons fired at something ahead, that and the feet are more than mere ballast, the KV-200 sports a ballast ramp that lowers down, allowing a lower center of gravity while the feet deploy several "anchor spikes" which them selves deploy ground claws anchoring the machine to the spot when firing it's full on salvo at one direction.
Gives an idea what it may do, though this was a space born battle to halt enemy machines.
So, to give an idea where I am going with the "Monster" aka KV-200 Heavy Battle Walker, I snap some pics of it, first posed like it is rage screaming.

Looking good. What's the scale (on the box) of that Monster?
the screaming in rage pose was very fitting... boy this is one hell of an evil oponent... one thing tho... the big top barrels could do with a bit more grey than they have now... even tho you will add the squiggly lines soon i think it needs some breaking up of spaces more...
other than that... cool model...
ah... and what are the "arms" supposed to be, speaking in weaponsystems terms?
they mostly renamed things, I can find the replacements well enough, just need to use an old bottle and match it. Although, I may just have my roommate tak it to his job at Lowe's and color match me a 4oz paint sample pot for the cheap.
shasolenzabi wrote: @Eilif: the model is stated as 1/200 scale, so the 1/60 scale version would be a real worthy of the Titan class.
Thanks, that's just what I was hoping. I recently bought this same 1/200 model for 28mm mech gaming and it's good to see that it will scale up well. I personally don't like the 4 massive artillery guns, so I'll be removing them and putting rocket pods or coms gear in the mounting holes instead, but the rest of the mech will be pretty much stock.
@Eilif: I wanted to use it stock for Apoc, and the idea that all 4 cannons combined for special D shot to take out BIG targets was what I wanted. But I look forwards to seeing what you do to your Monster.
@ shasolenzabi. Sorry for the delay in sending you those hussars. Just about getting myself straight. OMG that's way to much dude, I am really sorry I cant afford that, not right now. Its only 500g and a small box but OMG, that's just ridiculous.
So this goes out there, PLEASE can someone tell me how to get a small package with 7 mini's in it from UK to USA as cheap as possible. I want to send these guys to Shas. I am willing to pay the postage if reasonable. How do you people send stuff normally?
Normal international postage and ask for a receipt, I usually send mine like this rap them in tissue or bubble rap and stick them in a jiffy envelope simples
Hey Cam, that is insane for such a small package, whoooo! Fed Ex is cut-throat not cut-rate it seems. Like I said, Old Crow sent the resin minis which were heavy enough via Royal post, took time to get to me, (Fortnight) but they did arrive. Seems Zinge and LDD have cheaper solutions
Seems all the world's Postal Systems went to a price hike recently, I smell a rat! For so many systems to hike the same time seems oh so fortuitous.
I discovered that it is best not to leave my "Mudded" tanks near the fan when the fog is out, seems the salt I use for the "stones" likes to soak the water vapor up and they glistened with it all over again!
Yeah, and you would not get the good banter and pics but hey, I know someone who knows the writer of that drek, and well, her impression of the writer is not a good one for sure.
So, in the meantime, I am sealing the "mud" camouing some veterans, and retouching my most famous vets, Vasily and his Vodka toting Violators, and will get back on the KV-200 Uber Walker
I like that walker model. May have to make one (or something similar) myself one day.
The Khadrovians have a LOT in the galleries section to view.
I had to have it in my army. Once money flows again, more Grymn walkers as well shall be mine! Must have Dreamforge Protectorate troops when he makes them, Raging Heroes minis, and Mantic has more stuff for the Full Ice Sanction forces.
Fuel prices are up, that's why postage is higher, but I agree Postal Service is best. It's always a 2 week wait for me from the UK.
The Baneblade is looking good! Lotta paint usage there!
The price of a barrel of crude oil has absolutely nothing to do with a gallon of gas. I know that much!
They are just soaking the summer travelers, as usual.
You want to try living here, the price of fuel has nothing to do with the price of fuel, approx. 70-80% of the cost is tax straight to the government. And to make it worse, individual fuel stations out in the sticks like I am can up the price. In less than 50 miles the price of fuel goes up by 8 pence per litre (54 cents a gallon approx. in US terms.) the owners says it is to cover the haulage.!!
On a lighter note I will definitely be posting your guys on Monday. It may take forever to get to you mind but it will definitely be on its way.
Vasily is also getting his art work on the left shoulder done too Vik. Notice his one trophy? he won that hat from a Tanker in a duel between the tank squad and the Violators.
i remember vasily and how he looks and why very fondly
the current work you did to him really does credit to that cool character!... and shows how much progress your painting has been making!...by the way... i have since then used certain ideas i got from your conversions for my own needs quite often... you opened up a way to use SM arms on IG´s i wouldn´t have thought about on my own!!!
Having caught up with your fluff (which is very good and entertaining) I now know who you are talking about. Like the camo' on Vasily and co, nice scheme.
Did you ever get round to making the commisar I may have missed her going through this blog?

Cool! Glad to have helped you on that Vik! may make for some special Viktorian Vets

Ah, yes, I ordered a box set from Raging Heroes, they went very heroically tall, well, there are Russian women small and petite, to average sized, and then there are Amazons amongst them. I have Her now as well as her older sister and younger sister, and their cigar smoking cyber-pooch
Vasily and His Comely Kommissar

[/img]
Her sisters Olga, the older, and Katarina the kid plus their Pooch Oskar

viktorian vets... well the name viktor will get you away with always in a russian setting...
and those damsels of distress look very good.... why haven´t we seen them here yet?... (i may have forgetten about them...i am old... i have to be forgiven^^)
Dr H wrote:They're pretty cool models though. Nothing wrong with tall women. Obviously being tall runs in the family. Nice colour choices for them.
Yeah, they are all tall women for sure, makes you wonder what their Dad was like?

Viktor is appropriate yes.
I did show them when they arrived with a very nasty Ork Boss. But now they are assembled and paint as you can see is started. Teona needs blonde hair, Olga is a Redhead and Kat is white haired
They did show the troopers, and I likey them, just no cash to KS for anybody, I also see the new Capitol troopers as a good male match for the Kurganova troops so a mix of the two for a kind of Co-Ed force/
argh... I need to get my fluff of all my friends in line^^... I have postponed to read everything for quite some time now... I guess that´s what holidays are meant for then, eh?^^
shasolenzabi wrote: They did show the troopers, and I likey them, just no cash to KS for anybody, I also see the new Capitol troopers as a good male match for the Kurganova troops so a mix of the two for a kind of Co-Ed force/
I joined it after seeing some early renders, but now they are talking of adjusting them, they were going for a more heroic scale rather than their usual slim tall look which for me was great.
However most people expected them to be more like their usual range and so were unhappy and voiced this, so now it's a bit in the air as to what is happening which is a real shame.
So depending on your preference of scale i would wait to see which route they take before committing.

See, that's the other reason I'm staying out of it. They not have their act together. They talked about the kickstarter six months ago if not more saying they were ready, but waiting on getting a bank account set up. Everyone on here voiced what they wanted, and hey said were good still waiting on the bank account. more waiting, oh were doing three ks, more junk, they just seem unprepared/clueless. Now they're in the middle and thinking of changing scale? I can't figure them out. Not going to try either.
To be fair I think the issue was that a lot of people joined initially expecting the models to fit their original format, however they were heading towards a model that would fit in with the mass market scale.
Then all the backers kicked of after seeing the renders as they were aiming more towards the heroic market, so they crumbled to peer pressure and are looking for a fair alternative.
Which to be fair is a good thing as at least they are listing to the backers, however I joined due to the renders being shown so now I feel I have been cheated.
I think they should have done some pre launch research as they had plenty of time to do so, at least that way every one would have known the scale up front.
I realize, now, what all of your tanks are missing. I'd really like everything to be washed in Secret Weapons Miniatures' "Soft Body Black", straight out of the bottle.
Well, I have a lack of funds so no more washes except what I can afford at the moment when I do get some.
Yeah the gals they are experimenting with some in between their uber leggy scale, and the heroic, as long as they do not end up like female cadians I am okay as I also want to mix them with the MC/WZ Capitol minis that just got shown off recently

You can stretch to a wash
I hope they aim towards the Escher scale myself that way they should blend with most ranges.
Legs are good, and my finished tanks did get washed. am just about out, so I have had to wash them, and then watched as the washe does not show as much under the flash as it used to having thinned it to stretch it our. I need to see if they are loading me money or not.
Shaso could lays do the parade of strength at he nearest car wash, clean off the mud while blocking the traffic on a beautiful day. You just better make sure the car wash allows dualies first.
@Theo: Nah, too many peeps felt the models too sterile with the showroom finish, hence the MUD.
@Vik: Well, for that, some teasers then!
The Walker gets a face!

Kommissar Popov, he prefers keeping his hands clean when he dispenses punishments, so just his bolt Pistol and crop, if he could, he would do so from a cyber-horse mount than on foot.

Now for the cheeky Katarina Zvedvedova, younger sister and also Kommissar due to the Officer status of their parents when they died during a campaign. With gasmask at the hip, power sword over her shoulder and her tongue out, she aims and fires her Makarov M-49 pistol firing .50cal bolts. Due to her penchant for firing in volume, and her white hair, she is also known as "The Blizzard"

Much more collected and calculating as a older sibling is expected to be to watch over her sisters growing up, Olga had a natural talent for watching over and spotting her charges about to violate the many rules of the Military, and has been very good at keeping the soldiers in line.
Here she has her power sword off and belted, and is surveying the field for transgressors or enemies, holding her own Makarov M-49 pistol,

Automatically Appended Next Post: And now, Kommissar Teona Zvedvedova, who first made her presence known alongside Father Orlova and Vasily in the fluff, another hero of the Konfederation, and also able to go ice cold, hence "Ice Queen" when in combat, and starts her ballet of death with pistol and sword,,,power sword that is. Unlike her sisters, Teona is also much stronger so sports the more massive Makarov M-55 drum fed pistol firing .50cal bolts and she snaps off rounds in combat with it as if it were part of her arm.

holy gak.... that walker is freaking creepy... the "face" reminds me way too much of aliens... creepy fether...!
the commissars looks very cool... and I wonder if you got some brokerage for showing the raging heros stuff so cool here... eventually I need to get them all... and that fantasy lady too... definatly conversion potential for 40k there!...
commissars and dreadnoughts are my additction in secret... I try to get what I can ... I have a gaunt by the way of which I am rather fond and proud *punches the air*
Well, I have yet to do the black paint for the eyes of the walker, but that smile is unsettling eh?
Thankis, once they have the fine details painted you will see Olgas' monocle, and Kat's sticking out tongue as she shoots like a boss. But I did do Teona as described in the stories.
Teona=Blonde\
Olga=redhead
Katarina=white
Gaunts, especially now the metal ones are Out of Prints, so they are Gold amongst the collectors of such minis, them and the one GW female commissar.
my gaunt model I got extra cheap... I was rather lucky then...and that real oop female commissar is also on my to get list... together with the female catachan trooper...
Thanks guys, I figured the original "creepiness" was due to the blank white eyes with the sharkish grin, now it will seem he is staring at you across the table.
shasolenzabi wrote: Thank you Dave, I try to keep consistent with Khadrovian Quality
on that note... will you make it muddy too? will be interesting to see the mud splatter effects done differently accordingly to the different movement method...
Yeah, the way he is armed and looking who would dare him to wipe his feet?
Oh, I need fresh glue, but he is already atteched to the base stepping on a piece of extra stuff Zinge sent with the treads.

Thanks to Cam and his mrs getting this to me, I will make this a 7 man stormtrooper team. They will get a halftrack to ride in
you did have a more german related planet in the khardovian system, isn´t it?
very cool old style looking models! and a new halftrack is always a nice thing!
Viktor von Domm wrote: you did have a more german related planet in the khardovian system, isn´t it?

Yes, these will be stormtroopers(Spetznats) from the world named Kruegeria they are attached to the Kruegerian 144th elements of the 1024th Shock Guards Army
Thanks! I started to assemble the Hussars/Stormtroopers and have begun painting their camo patterns as such, Night/Urbanized camo for dual purpose missions in urban areas and or at night
[/img]
I have just not yet gotten around to painting it up just yet, it is still as it came in the box, just the armor and uniform is getting initial treatment, then the utility stuff, hoses, weapons.
That is a scheme I developed for Spetsnaz/stortroopers to set them apart from the regular Guard Guys as they do night time missions, including grav chute drops
Well, the ae helps give that umlaut sound sort of when one cannot find the symbols key. But yes, there may be some showing up in the next installment of the story of "Full Ice Sanction"
Yep, here we have to do a button that allows alternate marks So, NachtJaeger is our Germ-Glish (German-English) answer to the lack of the Umlauts and such
