Vespas can and do have side cars.
As a 1968 Vespa owner I think it makes perfect sense, have you seen how some people modify their Vespas. Quadrophonia is a great reference for this.

Howdy mates,
Small update, i know its only text and you want the juicy pictures. However good news is, my buddy is finishing up the casting on my ork armored torso that i made and the hand.
And as such my ork bikers will come together. As of now i have built 1 Nob pain boy biker, which i wish i took pictures of. He as some nifty and interesting conversions. And about 4-5 other bikes. Also the side car will be attaching to my warboss biker, because it looks even more orky and vespa like. Photos soon to come of this.
Also, we are in need of more entries in this contest. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/475420.page it is the second in a long line, and as always free loot if you do a good job and place! Take a look and come and compete!

Pyro died of a Virus a good ten years ago, before the House of M storyline reduced mutants to an endangered species. Title relaunches have gone on since the early 90's (when I started to read them), but personally I'm more of a limited run type of person. I like a six issue run, short and sweet. makes for a more interesting story too.

been paper crafting for 4 years now. Also, the bottom of the mask, which i am not wearing sits on those goggles, the goggles pop over the whole helmet, and the mask covers the nose. They are spot on.

Too much musscle is grose, but wash board abs is sexy! anways a update, i ordered the under armor of the costume, so i can start putting musscle fibers on the suit. All that is left to buy is honey comb fabric and about 5 yards of light grey material.

Post by: Viktor von Domm
gosh....! you certainly have lots of time at hand it seems...wow...
would latex milk be helpful for keeping it sturdy enough and not britle?
45565
Post by: cormadepanda
As far as the main structure goes you could put a latex cover on it but it would still be brittle. The fiberglass resign will make it as hard as a rock and as brittle, the out side bonbo which will give the general shape will be the most brittle. If you wanted a air soft quality helmet it have to be pure fiberglass resign and making smooth fiberglass resign is very hard and require polishing blocks.
53821
Post by: AnUnearthlyChilde
Vik, even when it comes to films and Tv, they tend to use the more brittle stuff anyways as Its both cheaper and less time consuming. hence why they make multiples of the item should any break.

AnUnearthlyChilde wrote:Vik, even when it comes to films and Tv, they tend to use the more brittle stuff anyways as Its both cheaper and less time consuming. hence why they make multiples of the item should any break.
the iron man suit was made out of pure fiberglass resign, that was polished and sanded with blocks. That how they got such nice smooth and tough surfaces. I know quite a bit about hollywood info.
53821
Post by: AnUnearthlyChilde
same I make props... They used the same for Iron-man that they used for the new Cyberman suits. adding iron/steal filings into it, so when polished it was both as cold as metal and shone like it too, at less than half the weight. only trouble is with a suit like that you need to incorporate an air circulation unit as well otherwise the wearer will overheat far too fast.

The TV series or the original radio series? There are about 5 different versions of HHGTTG and they all differ in slight but important ways Books, Radio, LP record, TV series, Film. On that basis I rather enjoyed the film as it came up with some new madness to slot into the idea. I think I saw the TV series first though, so that really coloured my perception of all the other media. It helped that they got some of the same guys to do the TV series as did the earlier radio broadcasts. The 5th book in the (increasilngly poorly named) trilogy is really weird and I didn't enjoy it as much as the earlier books. Worth a read though. Also I really like the Bosspa and the MANZ!
