The DA are being done like the tutorial video but I'm blending in highlights and shadows.

Started working the bone scheme on the first vet making a 5 color blend from Bestial Brown to Bleached Bone.

I used DA green as the base and blended up using a mix of 2 drops DA green and snot green. The armor only has 2 colors of the planned 5. That is as bright as it gets the other 3 colors are shadow colors. It will look more dynamic when I get those painted in.

Are you painting the Dark Angels with the airbrush? or are you doing it in the same style as the video you put up?

I really liked the idea of free handing the arrow on the Angel Sanguine with the pen. Where did you buy one of those?

Gotta get up early tomorrow but I wanted to post progress on a friends commission I'm finishing up.

Tron Templars. He only ordered the DP and LR from me and here's what I got so far.

But before anyone says that they were photoshopped to look "glowy" and that it's NOT the actual paint job I want to explain.

The glowing areas were airbrushed white with no masking to get the glow effect. Then Regal Blue was sprayed from the outer edges of the white over spray and lightly dusted over the white. I made a custom wash for this called black/blue that was sprayed on the glowing areas and metal.

The was dries with a satin finish so the picture on the LR side, attention to the little glows on the top edge of the side armor that are really bright, those are actually reflecting light right into the camera making it look fake.

Now that's aside.
