The burnas look excellent, really love the gun barrels on the zapp guns. I managed to miss that update somehow.

The concept of rescue projects is something im rather fond of too. You take a model someone doesnt want and ya see what you can make of it! Favorite of mine that comes to mind is the Hammerhead I got years back. All superglued and half melted from who knows what. I cut that baby open and it came out to be my DeffRay. Somehow it turned out better than I expected

I am, as everyone may know, a HUGE fan of rescue projects.

I think once you've been around a while... you get a bit of nostalgia and just can't bare to see the old figures go to waste. Either that or your inherently cheap and don't want to pay full price for anything, so you end up with a lot of cut-rate rescue projects.

Finally finished the last Zzap Gun! Wooo-hooo!



I also repainted some shoota boyz that I'd gotten in random trades an such. Rescue projects you know. Not worth a pic though, but I have been keeping busy.

Last zappa looks great, and together they make a very cool unit. Good job man

@mt: Thank you sir! Once I got the idea of mounting the first one on it's base, I've really been looking forward to finishing the entire unit. They do look good together.

That last zzap gun looks great, Gits. They three of them together really go hand in hand. Is it just the pics, or is the most recent grot a darker shade of green then his buddies?

It is, though on the tabletop you really can't see the difference. The new one is a little darker and slightly more brown in tone. Considering however, that it was over 2 years ago that I painted the first two... I was pretty happy that I got this close (wasn't sure how I'd done it).

OH, I haven't really done much of any handcrafting dstein, I leave that to the professionals. Though if I ever get caught up... or at least more caught up... I'd like to play around with it.
