That is just the latest spine image, Byte - the complete one would have all the elements in one image.

The Storm Talon makes me laugh. The only two landing skids are attached to the gun turret at the front. So assuming the thing is so top heavy that it doesn't fall backwards once it lands, it makes me think the pilot is just going to be spinning the body around in circles around the turret.
It's not terrible, there are just terrible things about it.
The whole fliers thing really took me by surprise. They don't seem to be as good as I imagined. But not as bad as I feared. I'm not overwhelmed or underwhelmed. I'm just whelmed.

One possible way to make the StormTalon look a bit better - stick the stupidly oversized gun on the top and put the landing skids on slightly longer struts under the nose.
Voila, flying tank. And then its hideous looks make more sense!

Except it'd have to angle itself downward in the direction that it's shooting thus making it always fly directly towards its target. Guns meant to shoot the ground on aircraft go on the bottom, they don't work when they're on the top.

Actually just realised after this release all the units in the Necron army book will have been released bar some special characters.
Woooohooo for waiting another 15 years+ before any more Necron models come out from GW.

Why would you think it's Cypher? Cypher is in a hood, doesn't have a big double barreled plasma whatsit, doesn't actually look like that, etc.
