The Last Chancer Who Survived

Yeah I just figured that out for myself last night.. I stole a whole bunch of iron from a blacksmith shop, then went outside and made a whole bunch of daggers and raised my skill like 8 points, then sold the daggers to the guy I stole the ore from For some reason I get a real kick out of stealing from people and then selling them what I just stole
I think I'll just raise smithing to get the perk to let me improve magic items.. that's all I really need it for. Dragon armor would be fun I guess, but I'd rather save the rest of my perk points for combat & roguey skills.

One of the interesting things about the economy is that it actually values work time. So when you steal the ore and sell back daggers, it's not exactly 'getting money for nothing', since you're basically acting as the cobbler's elves, doing the smith's work for them in the dead of night.
And does the quality of crafted gear go up when your Smithing skillis higher? So an Iron Dagger I make at Smithing 10 will be worse than an Iron Dagger I make with Smithing 50?

Not sure, but one thing I noticed was when I used to sharpen iron or steel weapons, they would say (fine) next to them. My skill is in the 40's now and last night I sharpened an ebony dagger and it's (superior).
Also.. I thought this was kinda funny...

Hmm, does anyone have any idea what keeps causing these frequent mini-freezes on the PC version? I don't think graphics quality affects it, as it does it just as much on Low as it does on the High settings the game thinks I should have, but it's quite a pain in the arse.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I get some small stutters too on the PC. It seems to be just when I enter a new area, so I figured it was just some graphics taking longer to finish loading.

Indeed. At first I thought it was just me, but I think you have to have a tipp-top end PC to have NO stuttering whatsoever.
Even for a very good computer, there is just too much to load at once for it.

Can we put a bit of space between the top of the post and any spoiler?
It comes up on the preview and i''d rather save twists and such for when they come along.
The game has good enough writing for that to be worthwhile...

Havent had any stuttering issues myself but remember its Bethesda, everyones rig is going to run differently with thier unique brand of coding/programing.
Have had several desktop crashes however after save game reloads.
Killed my first dragon last night. By killed I mean I shot some arrows into it as the mages guild took him apart.
Is it hard to get to the Greymanes? Im half way up the mountain (assuming Im on the right path - who knows) and it seems like quite an epic trip. Stupid yetis around every turn too.

Damnit, I can't be bothered going back to the point she died, I regret using her as a flank shield now to hide behind and stab from.
Are there no rez spells in the game?

check around the area, I've had that happen (paying on Xbox incase your the same) and found it ni the area closeby. Learnt this after a foot fight here it vanished and I had to go looking and eventually found it on top of a hill nearby watching... I swear that horse tries my patience but I need it for travel times.
Also make sure you aren't going the wrong way like I did, seems my last 2 attempts i've ben going up to a dead end.

God dont say that, the route Im on has little stone piles with flags on them, I assume they are a guide? Also large steps dug into the ground (half covered in snow) and several yetis on the way up so far.
Sound about right?
