If the only two queries so far are the stats C/P error on the Vets and Zhadsnark's tank shock rule needing some clarification.. then that's not really much of a mess is it? (obviously a proof read or two would be useful... but compared to previous efforts it's a milestone)

I read that last night and laughed out loud. It's on the page with the painters, sculptors and terrain people. Hopefully they'll get different proof readers for the next book.

Not only that, he's missing the standard 4+ save for being a biker.

I can't think of any time you would want a model who charges with 5 S10 attacks at I5 to tank shock instead either, so I'm not sure it's a really useful rule they snafu'd either.

This may or may not be a mistake. His bike is not the standard Warbike of the codex. The fluff page mentions that he wears less armor because it would slow him down (or something to that effect). But the bike does give him the 5(6) Toughness so who knows?

This sounds very sad. Remember just because they proofread doesn't mean they did so in its entirity. They could have split it up and each taken sections.

That, as well as the fact that they may have spotted the problems and reported them. Someone else entirely may have failed to fix the mistakes. If I were a proof-reader and that was the case, I'd be pissed!!

Myself and a mate were talking to Alan Bligh (think that's the right name) at the Nottingham open day whilst leafing through the book. We saw this and I asked him straight away if they were releasing a model, he said they weren't.

That doesn't mean tos ay that a GW kit will look like that though, merely that a new Ork buggy won;t be coming from Forgeworld, however, given how long the buggy's been in the works I wouldn't be surprised if Forgeworld have used the same design for their art.

I 'spose it's possible then. First time for everything, hey?

As I mentioned before, the plastic Valkyrie kit was previewed in the Aeronautica Imperialis books, so why not?

If that is the plastic design then I hope they've still got the Slorcha option in there.

The track is a scorcha platform so I would think so.
