The cold reaches of space

Was actually just thinking how cool it would be to have a 300-themed army... and lo and behold- I come across this gem!

The model-bashes are looking nice and clean, and if you are actually going with the color-scheme shown on the first page... this army is going to look fantastic...

Glad to have you aboard! My GS-fu is pretty terrible so I try to make up for it with halfway decent kitbashes.

May find them useful.

I picked up a set of those when I got the heads and found the torsos to be too big for regular SMs I am going to snag some Termi torsos and see if I cant combine the two into something usable. I may just end up trading or selling them.

I'm not going to lie friend, it makes it very difficult. I went ahead and put the box of new tanks up onto a shelf in the closet so I could stay focused for once

I still love those bugs very much! I REALLY want to get my flyrant painted up along with my custom Zoey.

The complete lack of interest in the trade thread killed that idea

Working on an Emperor's Shields Venerable Dreadnought. Getting some bits together and waiting for a GF9 package to arrive in the post. Once I get the ven dread kit from my flgs I'm in pretty good shape to start the build. Going to make a gladius of overly large size out of plasticard and such for the dread along with the a shield of some kind or something fitting for a ranged weapon. Any ideas? You know what would help in addition to suggestions... a new sketch from Vig

Also working on a counrts-as Sanguinor/assault sergeant with a CC weapon and a bolt pistol. Instead of having a jump pack I'm using some GS (I know, failure in the making) to make up some musculature for graphted wings.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE SANGUINARY GUARD WINGS or BUY FROM PAULSON GAMES --- RAAARGH (and wait for the libby dread conversion kit they're working on for the dread!)

Sanguinor could just be the chapter master who has been fighting for ~2000 years (maybe they have stupidly extended lives like the BA.. except more stupid! YAY) and whoever is affected with all the +1 rules could just be the same model each game who could be "The Master's Champion".

Hope that helped .

Vig, good to have you back! I hope you saw the upgrades to your namesake? I cant remember if you had or not. I just may do that for the autocannon conversion but using anything "elf" makes me feel dirty

I love the upgrade i think the chain spear is cool and very defining equipment to the shields that separates the shields from there other brothers...And i had placed two twin links to the elf repeater bow but i fixed to link to the hellblaster...and also i think you should GS the sword i think it would be easier to produces one that route and also you can glyph and battle damage it more easily
