Hello again friends! I had 3 packages waiting for me when I went to visit family at my mothers house recently. Package A and B were the DKoK and 3 superheavy tanks as well as 4 other smaller tanks and the big ol' Apoc hardcover. The third package was considerably smaller but I wont lie I was WAY more excited to see that one! Inside, as promised was a multitude of custom made bits from none other than BLACKHAND himself! Included in this mini box of wonders were shields- for obvious uses! Arms to hold the shields and some minotaur shoulderpads for yet another project I have been toying with for some time now, I'll get to that later. I know what you are thinking, was there more in the box?! YES! Mr. HAND even sent along the moulds for the 2 styles of shields (yes there are 2) the arms and the pads! I can not tell you how excited I am to get some assembly going and to at last get some pics up!

As promised here are some pics of the new Battle Brother! Complete with ccw and custom BLACKHAND Shield!! I Washed it in some mud first to bring out the details. Hope you like it!

and

Let me know what you think. I promise that it looks a bit more dynamic in person!

Also I have started a minor side project involving the 21st founding. With the help of BLACKHAND I have the shoulderpads for the first member of the Minotaurs chapter! I'm going to be making a squad or so of each chapter for fun. Here is a look at the first marine with the custom shoulderpad!

As always Constructive Criticism is always welcome!

@Agro- I thought theyu looked a little big too but I figure that they have alot more to deal with than just swords, spears, and arrows. In my head the extra size is justified

@Void- I cant wait to see you turn some of these fine fellows into traitors!

@Git & Vig- Glad you like em!

Also I am going to take some quick shots of the guy with a chainspear and the ton o' tanks too soon!

I think it will the shield will look better once there is paint on it, or a pattern or some desigin on it so its broken up and wont look as large.

you do know a strom shield is only used in combat right?

@Agro- I agree that paint makes the difference with most models! I know storm shields are only used in combat I was speaking in fluff terms more than practical terms. Thanks for the insight though, it is always appreciated!

Now before anyone goes and yells at me here are the pictures I owe you!

First the tanks I got in!

Needs to be stripped

Overcompensation

I like the rust on this one

Stubby

Strip it down and fix the non-existent gun and Rusty will be good as new!

Bane

Storm

Hell

On to the DKoK! There are a bunch not pictured because they are not fully assembled or not on bases.

Some medium fire power!

Last but not least...well maybe least The improved Vignoris now with chainspear!

As always, let me know what you think! Thanks again for all the help everyone!

Chuck Noris will get off the golden throne and smight you for using his real name!

Chainsaw + pole = as good as it gets. Awwwww yeah baby.

Anyway, that model looks really good! Nice to know GW are improving their dark powers of moulding. Those Sguard pieces are amazing! //must turn traitor.

Edit: Btw, is that DKoK stuff second hand? And awesome to see you got the epicepicwin forgeworld CCS Commander in there! Just gotta strip 'em.

Thanks a ton Void! The DKoK is all second hand and everyone, including a tank or 5 are going to end up in the Simple Green pool for a bit!

I didn't make the Overcompensation, but I like it. It has a certain charm to it.

A leviathan aye.. Hmm I might just have to do that! What does a 1/6 scale something or other look like

I'm a fan of the spear though I think for the next one I will be using a smaller tip to see how that looks.
