Fairly IMO, push comes to shove my house is not far, you can park out there if needs be.

Just written my list(s). Hopefully they will be fun to play with (and against).

Also uses many of my painted units/models so I don't have to do tonnes of stuff at the last minute, yet still has a few models I need to paint/finish off just so I have something to do

Just to let you chaps know, some Mission info is on the first few pages. 3 standard missions, 2 missions resurrected from the last Platinum Devil, and 2 entirely new ones. More info will be updated there over the next week.....

I also have the prizes sorted out, so there's is support for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. It's not much, but it's something.

For the record Mr. Tek is using a old issue of the Marvel UK Transformers comic as his avatar. That pretty much gives him free reign to do as he will. The world over.

How do you feel about the (relatively new) Transformers Animated? I have a shelf unit full of Transformers from that cartoon if that helps my case at all.

I watched Beast Wars as a kid. My wife also has 2 copies of the original Transformers movie, all the original cartoons, as well as some crazy Japanese Transformers cartoons (Head Masters?) - the dubbing on which makes no sense (Daniel is "Mr Sparkle", and one of the Transformers is called "Phillip"

).

Her brother has, I think, most of the G1 transformers too.

Besides which, baseball is rubbish rounders

Well, I seem to remember I am 40 points under at 500 points, so another 2 points isn't going to make much of a difference

Umm, I'm having some travel issues, and since I'm lazy I figured I'd ask dakka first. So, I'm trying to book my train through my university travel service, and they're coming up with 3 stations in Canterbury. Any ideas which one is closest to the venue?

please don't try and avoid the swear filter like that please. ta.

Hmm.. we only have 2 stations though !

Canterbury West is the closest one, but it is very, very easy to get to pretty much anywhere in the area from either.

If you still get stuck, give us a shout and I'll "meet and greet" you and get you where you're going.

It's more convinient to take Canterbury East and then take the unibus up, the bus station for the unibus is literally right outside Canterbury East, whilst you have a small trek to the university (or even the bus stop) from Canterbury West.

err... not really.

You can get the uni bus from the St. Dunstans/Westgate stop opposite the Bishops Finger, which is right by Canterbury west. If you go to East then you'll have to walk to the bus station which, whilst fairly close, is much further.

You could maybe sue the stop on the ringroad, up past the garage, but that stop is often out of use at the moment due to works and the like. Cheaper from Westgate as well.
