Hmmmm, il go try that now. I remember i almost made it all the way under the big lizard but frankly i forgot about the archers and took an arrow to the spleen which caused me to stagger then get roasted (this was before the patch)
He still glitches through the bridge, but he then despawns and respawns back on the bridge now, he doesn't die.

Darn. o well i got my lightning spear miracle so im happy.
Got a few people im working on atm but my best three so far is
1) my deprived whose now up against Nito (uses a +5 Black Knight Halberd, no miracles or sorceries)
2) my cleric who i just got the aforementioned lightning spear miracle (uses orsteins spear, WoG, and heal for now)
3) my mage and luckily i figured out how to save "Big Hat" Logan so il be getting souls spear and those other nice spells (has heavy soul arrow...... yeah nothing special yet lol)
Any of you guys kill the Ash Lake hydra yet? All i can think of "free willy" when that thing jumps so i have left it alone as comedy relief
My main issue with my cleric is i did not know of the high Dex requirement for the dragonslayer spear lol, now im stuck in the painted world of aramise with an occult club as my best weapon (i can gank Priscilla though in about 8 or 9 lightening spear miracle shots though, got faith up to 35)
Lightning spear is pretty good. At 50 faith I'm hitting for between 400-500 on target in NG+. Cast time is decent, about the same as a heavy soul arrow, better travel time though.
Tazz, I agree with the dex requirement, I didn't start using mine until lvl 85 or so
Probably the best game of the year, I'd have to say. If it weren't for Lost Izalith (which was just really lazily done, and shows that it was rushed) and the Tomb of Giants (having to use that stupid lantern is incredibly annoying, especially if you ever had any intention of using a shield), then I'd say that this would probably be even better than Demon's Souls.
Beat it around 7 times or so already. PvP at the kiln is fantastic, when you don't get ambushed by a guy with 2 whites. Shame they didn't implement and organized PvP system, I really love duels.

Tomb of Giants isn't that bad, and you don't have to use the lantern at all. Get yourself a Sunlight Maggot or a Light spell (IIRC only need 10 int for it)
If you're running an optimized PvP build, there's a good chance you won't have 10 int unless you're running a mage in the first place. Both my strength and faith builds have only 8 int.
Spend 30 humanity to get the maggot? You just walk down the hallway, kill Solare, kill the maggots... hooray! You only need to spend the 30 humanity if you want to keep Solare alive.
What's your problem with LI? I didn't really mind it. The lava sections were annoying, but not the end of the world. And then the "city" wasn't that bad IMO.
The entire level is filled with copy paste chicken legs, which themselves are actually just the legs from the zombie dragon without a body. The lava is not only painful to look at, but makes no sense (seriously, walking on lava?). Once you get past the horrible lava portion, the city itself is once again, filled with nothing but copy/paste enemies. You can easily tell that the entire level is rush, and not much thought or care was put into it.

Bed of Chaos is just a horribly designed gimmick boss, has nothing on the Dragon God.
And in the case of every other level, enemies were positioned intelligenly to create unique challenges. Lost Izalith just feels like enemies were just thrown about randomly. It feels like a twelve year old got their hands on their first level editor.
Got their hands on it and went fething CRAZY with the "PASTE" function.
"I LIKE CHICKEN LEGS!" was heard screamed repeatedly from the design room...

Good ol' Anor Londo, you got lizard face Mcgee and Golden Nipples the executioner. Personly im saying the Painted World of Ariamis is the best level. Also agreeing that The Bed of Chaos is a pretty ......... horrendous boss.
My brother and I are starting up a double playthrough, I'm a Pyromancer "Tank" and he's a Theif "weaponmaster" (He's holding all our gadgets and bombs and stuff)
I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Best naming of Ornstein and Smough ever.
They're easily my second favourite boss due to the fight itself and their music.
Overall favourite will always be Gwyn...
