Big Mek with Kustom Force Field - 85 pts
10 Boyz, 1 Nob with Power Klaw and Boss Pole, Trukk - 141 pts
10 Boyz, 1 Nob with Power Klaw and Boss Pole, Trukk - 141 pts
10 Boyz, 1 Nob with Power Klaw and Boss Pole, Trukk - 141 pts

Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun and Boss Pole - 100 pts
14 Gretchin, 1 Runtherd - 52 pts

6 Lootas - 90 pts

i like that list, but i do find 10 boyz not usually enough, even 12 is kinda light.

might be worth dropping a loota and 3 gretchin for another 4 boyz to put in the trukks.

AT 750 points, I don't think there is a need for 2 h.q's. Maybe at 1000 points, but no smaller.
I woudl use the points from that no lotta's.

no, i agree, but in 1000 i like the mek, and if you are using a nob squad i think its better to use a boss so they can be troop.

I just think that 2 mek's is a bit to overkill.

Me too, I use 1 Mek, 1 warboss
just so my massive nob unit can hold

Love the rule that lets meganobs and nobs count as troops

I would say so, put more loota's or boyz in with the points.

well as much as id like to say 30 boyz isnt many to attack with.
The Shokk mek is very fun, and at 750 a lucky shot can turn the game.

for fun sake id say keep him, but drop him later when you have points for a nob squad and battlewagon

I think Lootas would maybe be a better investment.

yeah definately, only gonna be a few tanks in low points, nothing lootas cant handle.

thats why a battlwagon is good at this level, can deliver more orks and opponent probably not gonna have as many things to take down A14 with a 4+ save

retail is £41 but you can pick up online for about £35

or convert one from old trukks or space marine vehicles

and with a deff rolla about 120 points ish

I find it funny that the biggest ork vehcile is about half the points of the biggest space marien vehcile, when upgraded.

Orks and guard are the two most expensive armies IMO.

Orks can be expensive as hell, which is normally why I hate horde armies. But I'm putting that hate aside for now, for da WAAAAGH!

True, but I had one that was decommissioned as I didn't need it. Until I got DA, and then I knew I would need it. I mean, an army of termies without a land raider? INSANE!

Yeah. I can't imagine a decent terminator army of any high points without one.

Sure, I only have one in my army, for my entourage and Belial, but the other squads have CML's and 3 TH and SS Termies. Plus bikes and land speeders are covering them.
