It's hard to deal with some GK lists, unless you 13 AV spam them.

Just land raider spam them.

So, Black Templars and BA can kill em easy.

Black templars are horde marines, which means that they top orks, blood angels are on equal ground. Well that's my opinion anyway.

Horde SM is scary, and BT have quite a few options to choose from. BA are one of the three good CC SM armies. BA and SW being the other two.

I have never won a game against templars, though I haven't versed them in a long while, meaning that I could defeat them now. However, past experience with Templar's has proven them to be extremely devastating.

They are. But you have to choose one army or the other: Shooty or assaulty. You can mix them, but it's kinda hard sometimes.

I think I versed assaulty. Well, lots of 20 marines (including scouts) charging at me en masse with dreadnought support.

Yup, infantry assaulty. Very common. I wanted to do a mix, but it's really hard. Harder than I thought.

I think it could work. But I could see myself and alot of other players getting messed over by it. But I find in most cases that singular style lists are more effective than hybrid armies.

It is always the more effective choice. But that doesn't stop hybrid armies from popping up

Of course they keep popping up. Hybrid armies seem as though there are just amalgamation of what people think are the most awesome units.

Which, can you really blame people for doing? I did a RavenDeath wing for my DA.

I think raven wing and deathwing together have awesome codex (though Iv'e only versed and watched others play dark angels). Deathwing raven wing are the best hybrid. Kan walls and horde orks can work really well if you do it right.

I wish the stuff was less expensive point wise for the Dark Angels.

All space marines are overpriced, especially terminators. 40 points a model in normal marines is too much. I have no idea for points for deathwing.

It's 215 for fearless termies that can swap CC and shooty weapons all willy nilly. They also can choose one heavy flamer, or an assault cannon, or a CML. Strangely, you can't have more than five in a squad.

I like dark angels now. I had no idea dark angel terminators were fearless.

Same thing with their bikers, who also get the scouts rule.

Bikers have fearless as well. Wow, just wow. The scout rule bit I knew about, which is absolutely awesome.

Yeah, they have nice benefits! Points wise though, they're expensive as hell

Again, expensie dspace marines. I suppose that's the biggest appeal of orks, the mainly cheap units.

You kinda get used to expensive units when you start out with SM. I was so happy when I looked at the Chaos codex, and even happier when I looked at Tau, Eldar, Tyranids, and Orks.

IIRC, nids are the cheapest army (points wise), then guard, then orks.

I think they are. Not so sure about Guard vs Orks. Orks do have quite a few cheaper things.

The basic guardsmen is cheaper than the basic ork and most hings in an average platoon are cheaper than orks.

As far as anti-tank, Lootas and big gunz covered by gretchin are good choices. The gretchin hold the objective and provide cover for the guns or lootas. If you decide to go mechanized, think about a squad of burna boyz. I have found that them in a wagon or trukk is really worthwhile.

FYI: 19 gretchin and 1 slaver 67 pts.
5 lootas = 75 pts.

Lose the nobz and the single trukk and one kopta.
Upgrade the kopta with a buzz saw lose the bombz.
Add two 19 man gretchin and two 5 man loota squads. I think you will like this better than the nobz.

Otherwise if you like the nobz remember they are a troop choice when you take a warboss.

The basic guardsmen is a point less and I won't even go into the points cost of a conscript.
