Wth the big drive for Infinity exposure, I'm surprised no ones talking about the April rumours. While there's always an air of April Tomfoolery around this time, but the April Fool was obvious.

I have to say, I wouldn't mind a 4 figure Odalesque box, even if it is 2 duplicated bodies, a few variant heads, and some different weapon arms. Especially if it means I can have an Odalesque with Boarding Shotgun without having to mutilate the current model.

Some CB staff said that when the Odalisques box gets released their troop profile will get updated (they recently did with the Jotum) adding few subtle changes that will be useful for the campaign.

I guess this could be like a Hacker option...

This is not an April fools, this was written in the spanish forum.

I might grab the current Odalisques anyway tomorrow night just in case they get removed due to the box being their 'resculpt' and not including any models in the same pose. While it'll give me more than the maximum link team, variety is always good.

I'd dig a couple of new weapon options too, as long as they're adding stuff.

Meh, knowing my luck the box will have the one I already have in it, and I just bought it and started painting it :(

People are speculating that it'll follow the previous link team boxes, having two different body/leg parts, some unique heads and arms with different weapon options, not have the two current models plus two more unique models.

That would be interesting, although I don't envision myself buying too many of the same model anyway. Well, we shall see.

It is the usual stuff with warbands or fireteams. Like this box:



2+2. They are the same 2 body miniatures, but they change with 2 different arms combinations and positioning their heads.

I was looking for the usual sneek peek of an upcoming miniature, but I only found this in the official CB page:

d20s may not be the most interesting thing, but it's at least an average-priced thing that CB was missing.

IMO they should have replaced the 20 by a faction' symbol

Agreed, but that takes time and an initial financial investment along with several packs. Many people coming from other wargames that haven't played many RPGs won't have any d20's.

Some wargaming-only sites/stores don't even sell d20's. This pack is a nice way to get minis and d20's all in the same place now that d20's are available as a wargaming product.

Any tabletop geek who doesn't have a few D20s lying around should have their nerd card pulled
