I've begun to paint Brother Noctis, and I have run into a problem. I am going to continuously have to use games-workshop's 360º gallery to make sure I get all the tiny details the right color

And sorry to disappoint, Ice, But the Broodlord is first thing to be painted, after the termies.
I decided on Zael. He looks twice as good as I was hoping him to come out as.
I haven't ink washed him yet, so I guess my teaser will be him pre-wash

After ink-washing and photo taking, he will be up in my SH blog

I see your skills at painting marines are as highly developed as your skills painting orks!

Not that I can think of. They look aproximately 10 billion % better painted.

*Please* paint (or even drill) the barrels - the paint job *deserves* it!

Love that termie! I had great fun painting that guy. Have you thought of doing some alien blood splashed over him? With all that CC fighting I am sure he would be a bit messy
