I reckon there's a good chance paint will hit £3.00 a pot next year, they always trump out rising oil prices as a reason for price rises so I'm guessing they just haven't figured out that both the pots and paint are made from oil lol

GWHQ will declare itself a sovereign nation and the company that is GW will be declared "Emporer for life".

GW will attempt to sue the Vatican for the inquisition because it was not sanctioned by GW.

In addition, they will microchip their models and require you to register with the GW store you bought them at upon purchase. This way, if at anytime they find the models are in a different location without the proper transfer forms filled you will be taken to court for being in direct competition with GW and their stores.

All transfer forms can be acquired with a purchase of $1500 or more at a GW store. Failure to purchase enough for a transfer form will result in an arrest warrant, in your name, for "possession with intent to resell".

Too late, already happened, its called 8th edition.

Um read the post at all?? He already mentioned 8th ed and is expecting it to carry over onto 40k

It already DID, it was called 3rd ed.

2nd was more a skirmish game, 3rd pushed the armies to double or triple in size by massively dropping the points costs(and a LOT of options).

Upon the invention of the time machine, GW uses it not to go back and fix their mistakes, but rather to go to ancient times and register copyrights on roman numerals, chevrons, greek alphabet, and skulls. Especially skulls.

GW realises that they are not capitalising on the Tape Measure market nearly enough, and decides that all new games are to be written using High Gothic Inches - the approximate diameter of a bolter round, and markets a line of measuring instruments accordingly.

Also, GW continues to fight off ebooks by making their codexes increasingly difficult to use. Instead of units having rules on two or three pages, GW splits each codex into three books. The stats book has every units S on one page, T on the next, etc etc. Points costs are revealed upon retina scan and are spoken aloud so they do not end up in print. They ignore the fact that annoying to read books are very simply pasted together in Acrobat.

I hope their next master-stroke will be to sell off the whole business to someone who knows that the hell they are doing.

You're obviously not willing to roll with the punches of a luxury commodity's adaptation to a difficult economy. Whining about stuff won't make things better. Why not do something to be part of a solution than the problem?

Go play solitaire....

Just leave GW alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry it took me so long to post on this, I spent most of the day laughin that he actually called plastic toys a "luxury commodity". Son, a luxury commodity is gold or pearls or hell, even high-grade coffee, it is NOT plastic toy soldiers.

This:

Is not the same as this:

Please slap yourself repeatedly until the GW koolade you've been drinking wears off.

That is all.

I clicked on this and thought this was another price rise thread, hmm I wonder if GW models actually cost the same as their own weight in gold...
