I got sent a tiny pic on my phone last night and thought they were sabertusk conversions, but looking at the shilelds etc on the riders they are definitely the real deal.

I will see if I can get someone to take some more pic sof them and get them up.

Sorry, the prices alone keep me from being excited. Which sucks, the models look amazing.

-A Finecast Standard bearer for $24.75? Sorry, I'll take the metal one w/ powerfist from GW for $11.50, and I won't have to worry about the banner breaking off, or altering it with brass rod to make it stronger and not need viagra. A new sculpt, surem but 100%+ price does not equal 'better'.

-5 plastic Fenrisian Wolves for $24.75? Nope, 6 Wargs for 16.50, or 5 old plastic wolves for $15.

-It's too bad I have 5 Bikes for my 13th Company SW. My buddy and I still play in the 3-4th edition rulesets, and I'd love to get the Thunderwolves and give their riders combi-bolters+ gear to make them counts-as bikers. That would be awesome. $54.50 isn't too bad, I would have cool bike proxies, but only 3 for the price of 4 actual bikes.....I dunno, maybe.

They'll never sell any Lords on TW. Why would you ever buy one? A little over ten bucks more gives you three similar models and a huge amount of bitz to make a Lord and two others?

-Looks like I need to make a GW order soon for the rest of stuff I've been waffling on. A 30% price hike on Lukas the Trickster and the power-armored Rune Priest? No thank you GW. You may not have more of my money for the same product out of a material that's supposed to be cheaper than white metal.

I just saw a video of them. They are rather unimpressive. They are in the same stile some other companies have already executed and some done better.
Their only plus, is that they will be done in plastic and their counterparts done in resin.
Their downside, they will be expensive.

They could be less worried that a court judge would demand that they halt product sales relating until the end of the suit. There are developmental benchmarks in cases like these that can govern exterior choices made.

Given the amount of ill advised bs the chapterhouse guy throws out concerning the legal tussle (and everything else) I'm not so sure. The lawsuit doesn't make him privy to the internal decision-making apparatus inside GW HQ, nor do his random quips give us inside knowledge of their case.

It wasn't CHS that contended the legal battle was the reason for GW's delays in producing certain models. That contention was something that cropped up on the internet after someone decided to interpret a statement made on GW's website, if I remember correctly.

You don't remember correctly, but that's not the topic here.

BTW I edited my above post. Of course the Thunderwolf pack is Plastic.
And I have to admit, that the new wolves look more like wolves than all previous models by GW.

Lookin good, just going to have to wait until I have an extra 100 bucks or so so I can get me a squad of marines riding wolves.

I need a better/clearer picture of Arjac but I'm thinking I'm going to end up keeping the conversion that I have. However, I bet his model sells tons. While a little expensive point wise, he still rocks the house and from what I've been able to tell quite popular.

See pics of my Orks, Tau, Emperor's Children, Necrons, Space Wolves, and Dark Eldar here:

I actually really like the basic Fenrisian wolves, some of the nicer wolves I've seen done up.

Not 10 for 25 bucks. Only 5. if you go on the GW site and search for "wolves", you can get the old plastic ones for 15 dollars for a pack of 5. They aren't as cool looking, but you can buy a pack of 10 for 5 bucks more than these new ones.

And how big/awesome is Arjac that he's going to be 25US?

So I guess this 5 plastic wolves are those wich where rumoured a few months ago that might be new Goblin wolves? I can't see a Goblin taming that huge beasts (they look taller than the infantry marines) without being eaten. Yep those definitely make more sense in a SW army.

He's Finecost, and because GW lives in opposite world, cheaper material = higher price.

Sigh. I just had bought 2 boxes of Goblin Riders for my Fenrisian Wolves. Already had started building them and putting them on some fancy bases from ForgeCraft Games so they'd match the rest of my army. Now I'm out ~70-80 USD for the lot. Looks like Fenrisian Wolves will be on Terminator bases, not cavalry bases.

Man I wish GW actually advertised their stuff a little bit. Finding this out a week ago would have had me purchasing things on release day instead of in 2-3 months.

Looking forward to a good look at Arjac.

Stuff looks really good. Not a huge fan of the TWC concept, but the models are nice. Hoping the riders bring some nice weapons and heads.

The FWolves are a real treat. Been itching or some nice wolves since 2003 when the 13th list hit. 9 years later, and some wolves worth buying arrive.

The Tyrant kit looks phenomenal. I don't give a toss for Tyranids...but that is a great looking model with lots of options.
