Harald's head is kind of ganked, but I like it. It is weird and it works. Ugly works. And I need to see more angles on the axe, but I'm intrigued. Lastly, love his shield. Another leftie like Arjac.
I agree with previous comments that there should have been some bionic bits on the Fen sprue to make some cyberwolves. That would have allowed for the Finecast model to be REALLY cyber. But I'm sure the Fen kit is intended to appeal to fantasy equally.
I'd bet that the wolves are also designed so that they can be used as a base to add saddles for goblins, like the generic Cold one was a base to add saddles for the Dark Elves. Having 5 normal wolves makes the kit work for both 40K and Fantasy, with no useless parts if you play fantasy.

Ya know, I didn't realize the Thunderwolf Wolf Lord was a named character. Well, I like his head and torso. Probably won't use him as a special.
I actually really like Rockfist, though I agree that an overhand grip on his hammer would've looked much better.

He's not so much a named character with unique special rules, he's a Wolf Lord who's wearing the insignia for Harald Deathwolf, ie he must be Harald Deathwolf.

I actually like the Arjac model. He's supposed to be a modest warrior and a defender of the charismatic leader. He's not supposed to be the awe-inspiring presence like Ragnar or Logan are and I think his model reflects that.

It's one thing to have your 'feral' Marine themed force that uses Norse mythology. Ok, that's fine. It's a staple of a lot of fictional words, so go with it. It's another to actually have Norse Gods with different names in the army (Thor and Loki in this instance).

The viking theme has always been a tenet of Space Wolf fluff: the Wolftime being a reference to Ragnarok, the Nordic names, etc.

*headdesk* Did you not read what I just wrote. I'll type slower this time: "It's one thing to have your 'feral' Marine themed force that uses Norse mythology. Ok, that's fine. It's a staple of a lot of fictional words, so go with it." See that? That's saying the Norse (or Viking, as you put it) theme is ok, something I accept and perhaps even celebrate. It's normal. To be expected. The usual. But, I go on to say... "It's another to actually have Norse Gods with different names in the army (Thor and Loki in this instance)." See what I take issue with? Not the Norse aspects - those are fine - but the lazy inclusion of two Norse Gods as special characters with differnt names (Loki as Lukas the Trickster, Thor as Arjac Rockfist, complete with short-haft Mjolnir).

I thought it fits in somewhat with the theme (marine style played up to extremes), at least slightly less lazier than just giving them the same names as the gods they're based on.
A trickster marine is somewhat refreshing with all the grimdarkness, sort of like an Ork among Astartes. Though they still play them up alot, but that's a given if you have a name I guess.

As has been said, I'm surprised they were able to so excellently execute such a stupid idea as TWC with such good models. I sure wish SW were Vikings again, but I think those days are gone.
The Fenrisian pack looks pretty good, despite one or two odd poses, and I think those could be easily overcome by simply adjusting how they are angled on the base.
The cyber-wolf is all kinds of fail.
The Tyranids look pretty sweet! I'm not too fond of the gaunt poking out of the belly, but it would be pretty trivial to just snip him out and patch it with greenstufff. Tyrannofex looks awesome as-is.

The Avatars of War Dwarf Bersekers have bald heads, with optional mohawks.. no molded on hair IIRC.

I like the new character models but it annoys me that they have had their shoulderpads sculpted, which is annoying. I dont mind the cyberwolf but it suffers from being an extreme pose, it works with the non augmented fenrisian wolves but its harder to accept in the bionic wolf. I get the impression that the sculptor went through film footage frame by frame to get the poses It's almost as if all 5 designs are stages of a wolf leaping. I think its clever how they have managed to balance them, much like the fantasy figures for the cairn wraith and banshee. However just because they can do something doesn't mean they should. I see why they have done it as it makes their models more identifiable - it would be hard for them to tell if a picture of someone's army is using their models or not but these poses make it easier.
Also re the references to norse gods; the analogy hols up better with Russ as Thor and the Emperor as Odin. I cant see from Arjack's pose if his hammer has a short haft because of the foreshortening. Other than that they are just fairly normal archetypes that you may find in any IP. The norse/viking references just make it easier to draw parallels.

I dont see much resemblance between thor in norse myth and arjack rockfist. exept for a throwing hammer, and possibly the will to hunt down large monsters. Actually, any boasting hotblooded spacewolf with a hammer would fit the thor theme better than Arjac. The humble craftsman sounds more Celtic to me,
Oh, and the emperor is clearly something like Odin, they even call him "the allfather".

After another day of reflection, I still don't like the standard bearer. The head is absolutely awful. Considering the Wolf Pack comes with two backbanners that are perfectly serviceable for this sort of thing, it just seems kind of pointless to buy such an expensive model.

The head is indeed truly atrocious, but if it comes as a separate piece it would be easy enough to swap for something more appropriate. Still expensive for one model, mind, but easy enough to swap the deplorable head.

Except his model has an awful, awful head and you're better off just getting two boxes of TWC and running a squad of 5 with a Lord attached. In other words, there's no difference whatsoever for the smart shopper!

Hey, by what i can see, those fenrisian wolves dont made my mind, the price dont really pick on me, and the sculpt is not great, i think i will stick without using them.
For other side, the TWC looks great, i really like them, and well, they cost a Land Raider... With 3 sprues (GW is getting crazy). What i like on the wolves:
- Tottaly new set of bitz full compatible with other PA SW.
- Fantastic dinamic positions, and bitz compatible with those. Incredible to use with regular Space Wolf pack bitz.
- Big, Bloody, Raging Wolves...
What i dont like about the kit:
- Those wolves seens to be "mono pose", for a plastic kit that is a big crime.
- They are very expensive for a plastic kit with 3 sprues, but hey, it is GW...
- And for last, the number of Boltguns in the kit, and that really annoy me. There are 3 of those, there should be none. Well, one of them is a GREAT ideia, a guarded bolter hanging out somewhere... That is genial, i would be happy with some of those for my wolves, but the other 2? 2 "one handed ones", those we found in groups of 4 in each SW pack, and that any regular hobbyst know how to convert from a bolt pistol arm and a regular bolter? There would be so hard to fill that space with some other bit, lets say some other bit more new or usefull for space wolves players? Even another 2 hanging bolters...
I will not speak about the finecast models, as I am against paying more for models made with cheaper material... But Arjac is ridiculous.
