Interesting idea with the pod as terrain. In addition to a crater, I would go really heavy on rubble or it might look like it just landed in an already damaged building. I've considered an overhead road, I was trying to find a good example that GW did. Could you imagine if their website actually supported hobbiest and had real articles and photos about their own work!?

Ha-ha, it was a dirty quick build! I did glue it all shut due to the aggressive cutting that I needed to do. I will be adding bullet holes and major damage!

Good to hear from you buddy! I promise lots and lots of rubble very soon. Interesting idea about roads but train tracks first then we'll see what happens!

Thanks! As far as fluff goes I'm not the best person for that, but maybe collectively we can come up with some. Perhaps a shrine world over run by xenos?!

Thanks! My next project after this will more scratch built thanks to Dave's amazing necromunda thread! He has inspired me to do more plastic card modeling!

I had to glue the he'll out of it for structural reasons, but there's not reason I can beat the gak out of it now

I think that hand sticking out would have been cooked by the retro rockets (and heat the hull would have from re-entry ).
But I think the crater needs to be deeper - also think that there need to be a couple of floors/internal walls partially intact as part of the rubble - it has just smashed through a building and would have brought some of it with it

Oh, there will be more debris! I will be doing another layer after this dries . The amount I used here will take 24 to 36 hours to fully harden! Since it will be played on durability is important
