@auticus Can't wait to see the warmachines. Which ones do you have planned?
June 3rd is also a deadline I am working towards as it is when my tournament season begins for the year. I finished off my Freeguild General on Griffon just yesterday in preparation, (now onto the massive unit of Handgunners).
For people who followed my 'Siegfried's Desperados' when AOS first launched, this is meant to be Siegfried Stormhart on his twin-headed Griffon, Darktalon, many decades later as he hunts down his nemesis, the Necromancer named Cornacaprious. I'm hoping to have some cool backstory written up soon.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)
Well Bottle I must say that the first image is broken--I can't see anything. It must not have loaded right or something.
That said, in the subsequent images I am able to appreciate the artistry of your work! The consistency of color is great and the edge highlighting is excellent, I just wish you would move that chicken-thing out of the way so I could admire your work better!

Thanks for the kind words, Ninth (and everyone else), you should be able to see the pic not sure why it wouldn't be loading.
Love the Skaarac, Auticus. Think I've seen it before but it is still very impressive (especially the blood trail), and Matt, the Kiaros looks great!

Wow Bottle, I completely missed out on that splendid piece at the top of the page. The blue is a perfect colour choice - I wouldn't mind a Paint Splatter on that either
If you can't believe in yourself, believe in me! Believe in the Dakka who believes in you!

And after that any patches that the drybrush had made chalky I went back over with a mix of Ahriman Blue and Coelia Greenshade to tidy up. I actually need to tidy it up some more, but I will do that when I am REALLY BORED one day haha.

ah.... because the base isn't showing! Haha, sorry I am slow

So I finally managed to get some pictures of my Slaves to Darkness army taken at my FLGS on Friday:
A couple Gorebeast Chariots
Some Chaos Knights being goaded to battle by a Daemon Prince
A better angle on the prince
Two sorcerers on the battlements of a Numinous Occulum and a Manticore Sorceror Lord in front
I also painted the Occulum. Unfortunately, the kit had warped and didn't quite fit together right, but it still looks okay. I also did the Dragonfate Dais in the background. I'll get some better pics of it when I photograph my Bloodbound (hopefully) next week.
Spoiler:
Oh yeah. I also painted this guy:
]
The Ophidian Archway is another of my scenery pieces.
The pic I took of my Chaos Warriors, Chaos Shrine, and the Chaos Lord on Manticore didn't turn out so well, so I'll have to retake that one. I'll try do get a full army shot for that one.

2000 Khorne Bloodbound (Skullfiend Tribe- Aqshy)
1000 Tzeentch Arcanites (Pyrofane Cult - Hysh) in progress 2000 Slaves to Darkness (Ravagers)
Bottle wrote: Everything looks awesome. The manticore especially! Did you paint the Archaon too?
Thank you, sir. And yes. Took me two weeks and had to break down and buy an Artificer brush, but I got him done. I actually have all 3 Archon models, and I plan to post a group pic of all three once I get the version on horseback painted.

Archaon looks great too! I look forward to seeing all 3 painted. You should do a 3 game campaign where you get to use a more upgraded version in each battle. :-)

Archaon on foot is great fun to paint and an amazing model.
Really is chunky too.
Was suprised when I first got mine as I didn't think he'd be anywhere near that large.
On a side note, the end of days has begun.
I've decided to get working on my skaven at long last.
Been buying stuff for them constantly but just stacking it away until I felt like it.
So, bring on over 500 rats. (And the end of my sanity)
Just put together my last Sigmarine Vanguard model.
I picked up the Lord Aq, and x1 of Raptors, Palladors, Vanguard Hunters and Gryph-hounds. Everything is primed except the Palladors, which I just finished.
I love the models' look but I hate the Palladors' attachment to the bases. Two of them only have a single foot down on the ground. Dyanmic-looking? Yes. Pain in the rump to attach to the bases? Yes, yes, yes.

Thanks man :-) I was happy with how he turned out too! The next project for the Order army is 30 Hangunners, which is much less fun! :-(
Automatically Appended Next Post: So, here's yet another picture of my Griffon, but what I want to share with you all is the idea of: Triumvirates in Age of Sigmar.
The Triumvirate of Mistmire; Master Geppetto, Siegfried Stormhart and the alchemist, Massym Al-Izzar
I love the idea of Triumvirates and wanted to incorporate one into my army so I wrote a story behind them and put together 4 pages as if they were from a campaign book:
If you'd like to read a bit more, I have a blog in the painting and modelling section where I talk about Triumvirates in Age of Sigmar and post up full size images. Check it out if you are interested
Aren't triumvirate's supposed to be different though? Those all look like different poses of the same thing, though admittedly they are partially obscured by those tank & chicken whatevers on top.
Order Alliance:
Freguild Crossbowmen
Archmage on Horseback
Dragon Blades
My plan is the Elves work together as a cavalry unit and anti-wizard tasks. The Crossbows are a second squad added to one already made to a total of 19 (one of them ran off somewhere.)
Apologies for no pics. I don't have proper access to a camera and my painting skills are below shown standards.
I've been working on a 2000pt High Elf Army, I have about 2/3rd of it painted up, just have to finish painting up Reavers, Silver Helms, and Dragon Princes.
EDIT: I literally have no idea why these are upside down....they are rightside up on my system and in my phone....any idea how I screwed up the upload so bad?
