48 hours, I had a really bad flu, I was pretty much a zombie after the first 24 due to vomiting and a fever, it sucked

Just under 72 hours. Can't describe it because I'll probably break all the forum rules.

60 hours routinely (1+ times a month) in my mid 20's

When working night shifts for a grocery company, when you got 2 days off in a row, you didn't want to waste them by sleeping during the day. So You would get off work, stay up 24 hours, sleep, then stay up another 24 hours sleep and then go to work.

When you only had one day off, you would still commit to the idea that you wanted to hang with your friends. Well if you had 1 day off, then one day on, then one day off... A lot of times you'll just swing for the full 60 in order to enjoy yourself. with your friends... Usually there was lots of alcohol involved... and often times the crash would cost me an entire day of sleep (12 hours) and then the next day I would get home from work, and sleep until it was time to go to work again (12-14 hours).

Travelling from Germany to the States along with annoying connecting flights and time shift had me stay up something between 36 and 48h.

I feel my age now, though, and lack of sleep hits me much harder than it used to 10 years ago.

The worst part is we spent all that time and lack of sleep and money...and the friend I asked to distribute it (it was at a hardcore show) just went up on the stage and dumped the box of books over the crowd. Most of them just got stomped on. I wasn't happy.

Anyways I've been up for atleast 3 days (last week) . The reason is I've been having nightmares about my school real castlevania kind of stuff (yah noe!). I'v been playing video games, reading and hobbying to spend my time. Have you ever stared so hard at something the outline wiggles? that happens to me if I stay up for 72 hours....

Been deloyed and had to deal with hours and hours of night and day operations.


But when I was younger I would say about 36 hours.

36 or so hours.

I have mild insomnia, so I decided to forgo the 1 hour of sleep I'd likely get and go to work (12 hour shift).

At 32 hours I was nodding off while welding (mig), at regular intervals you'd see ^ in the weld pattern. Decided to go home before I caught myself on fire or lost a finger.

12 hours doing.....erm adult activities.

36 hours at one point doing suicide watch for a best friend. that just sucked.

Only 24 hours , before going to a tournament before.

I went four days without food or sleep, just drinking and paint brush in my hand...but I got that guard army done in time for that tournament....

I'm pulling an all nighter right now.

about 48, trying to do erm adult things then being sick, then suicide watch (not all were related).....last weekend was alot of fun

I've done 5 days before. Vegas + drugs = 3 days crash when I got home. The boss was pissed, but it was one hell of a trip.

I had a friend who stayed awake past 72 hours. I have no idea how he was able to keep his head up, but aparantly, he was in class and started hallucinated that there were tigers running along the wall.. he dicided it was time to sleep.

Just about 48 hours. I ran out of soda so I passed out on my friends floor. :/

I think my longest was just over 72 hours. Not by much, because by then I literally fell asleep on a beach

I'm pretty sure the days went like this
Up for school, up all night, up for school, on a plane to Fiji (From Australia) at 3 in the morning, 6 hour flight, 4 hour bus ride, awake all day and all night again... Then up until about 4 oclock the next afternoon, which I then pretty much shutdown and fell asleep lying on the beach in the sun.
I woke up about 7 hours later with amazing sunburn.

Stayed up for an entire day on a caffeine fueled gaming binge

Over 72 hours...about four days. Basic training had me up with no/very little sleep (an hour or two nap here and there) for four days.

Besides that, I've done some pretty regular 48 hour stints during paper season at university.

I once went to my friend's house when his father was sent to the hospital. We played videogames all day and spent all night awake watching all Hellsing OVAs. The next day we realized we haven't slept at all and played more videogames! ^^

Only time i actually went 48 hours straight was when i was still addicted to MMORPGs

I have been up 21 hours in a row so not that special.

7 days, ended up in the hospital... I don't suggest it

I'm a clinical insomniac, and at the time I would regularly go 3-4 days without sleep. Somewhere between day 4 and 5 everything becomes entirely a blur, but the extent of it was I used to be VERY VERY stressed. It was a little scary because the doctor kind of laid into me about how much damage can actually be caused by this. Even now I'm on sleeping pills and have been up for 23... Blah...

whats your excercise schedule like? It might be time to consider joining something to burn up your energy if you already don't, and disconnect from as much as you can.

....I have a buddy who "cured" his insomnia with liquor. Some things would make him sleepy, and, granted, he wouldnt have a good nights sleep, but he would still at least sleep.

2 all nighters straight in a row.

as a note i am planning an allnighter this weekend to watch the entire season1 of walking dead.

83 hours Summer of 88. I was in the US Navy when the ship I was on had a catastrophic fire while on a training run. Took 3 days to put it out and the only break I had was enough time to change into dry socks. I think I then slept for about 18 hours.

Outside of that.... 64 hours over a weekend at gaming con.
Getting a bit old for that nonsense now, especially playing Flagons and Dragons.... a drinking version of an old favorite.
