so, the poll made it quite clear. I'm going for a custom regiment. Now I need to come up with some fluff. I'll name my planet Furith. So that makes my regiment the Furian 2nd. I am able to come up with fluff myself, but i'll appreciate any help I get. Ideas will go here, and if I have everything needed, I'll write the fluff in the dakka background section.

Any ideas are welcome.

I have to work on the cloaks, yeah. I have tried all sorts of things to smooth that out. I've tried to smooth it out with a super thin layer off PDA glue. A mate sugested it, and it kinda works, but anly if its a super thin layer.

The cloak thumbprints give it a kind of wool texture !

Always look on the bright side. At first I thought the same, but then I dismissed the thought, because the prints were too big in comparison to the rest of the model.

Well, I am embarrased to say i didn't get any work done. I did did half assembly for 4 more Guards to make up the 1st squad. I need to put a greenstuff camo on them, and the put on the heads.

Here's the plan for the catachan battle force.

Step 1: Command squad : ASSEMBLED
Step 2: Scout sentinal : ASSEMBLED
Step 3: Squad 1: WIP on ASSEMBLY
Step 4: Mortar squad: NEEDTO BEGIN WITH
Step 5: Squad 2 : NEED TO BEGIN WITH.

Update time! The specialists of the 1st veteran squad. Vox, sergeant, flamer and heavy flamer.

I tried to experiment a bit with more non GW heads and other styles of draping camo cloaks.

nice head choices , like the roman style one the best , where is the re-breather style one from?, and the cloak over the tanks is a nice touch.

hehe, nothing. I didn't have the time, nor theinterest in greenstuffing today. Maybe tomorrow this will be updated with some paintes WIPs

thanks for the tip about the heads. i did mean the french line head lol it looks a little like a crown from the front he he he maybe because its gold! sorry
the fluff looks good but i have only skimmed it , need a bit more time , to get involved proper!

yèeah, the green heads is a bit trimmed down. That wobly thing on it simply didn't fit. I'll show a pic of the normal, untouched head later on.

Time for another (minor) update.

Finished painting the traitor guard, and the Tanith scout that was meant to be for a painting competition, which I completely forgot about.

the scout looks about the same as my Furians will look like. without the blue tattoo.
