Very cool. I like that he's still fighting, even while pinned under his own bike. Hold off on mailing it just yet. I want to get more done on yours. I've been tearing my room apart looking for my GS with no luck. Maybe I'll shelf the two that need it and paint up the one with the ork poking his head out. How's that sound to you?

Yup that's fine with me. I think all three of those objectives look great! So whichever one you wanna send is good with me. Glad you like him. He isnt actually quite that shade of red though. Its going to be slightly darker in person

Well, I found the green stuff. and when it got too hard to paint the one ork, I managed to break him loose without messing anything up. So... now I'm painting them. I've got them base coated, but that's all so far.

I don't think I'll have a chance to get much more done on them this week, because I'm covering at work. Sorry to keep you waiting. I still can't find the camera either... so I'll wait a bit longer to take a bad pic with my phone.

Doing this for Mr.Gits' #2:

Nowhere near finished painting (sorry gits, forget about this!) Can't really the shovel wedged in the ground, but you get the general idea. I found the middle of a spirit level the other day, I just need to work it into a necron objective... Anyway, up for doing more objectives for like or stuff.

Looks great graven! I've been not very productive painting lately, lots of not-fun stuff going on & we got a new bed that actually has been removing many of the aches and pains I've been living with for years (I know you see that stuff in commercials and say "yeah, right"... but 3 days and my body tells me differently. So I've been sneaking off to be early for my nightly dose of "medicine".

Oddly enough, it came from a fireman set. Yeah, when small boy breaks toys, I recycle.

Cool marker, Ambit. Would you bve interested in a trade? A tau marker would fit in great with my theme.

That's funny about the barbed wire fence coming with a fire fighter... I've got one or two of those fences, but they came with a military set. It makes for a great marker too, I'll have to dig mine up.

After doing my work today, I will make an objective that I will be willing to swap.

Since I have his marine in-hand, I am shamed into working on Gretar's Salamander objective marker. This is my first attempt at sculpting anything. It's not much mind you... but it was challenging enough. Since the salamanders are always depicted on lava beds... I figured that's where I would start...

If it were me, I'd press some sandpaper lightly onto that greenstuff to give it some more texture. Looks good

Glad you like it. I was having "painter's block" with Arakasi's ork so it seemed a good idea to start something else and get my mind off it. I seemed to have worked through that now though, so I'm making progress on both counts.

Glad to be of service, I picked up the sandpaper trick when trying to make a fountain of mine look more like stone and less like plastic.

You can check that out here, It's only been done on the 'Bowl' area that the fountain runs into:

I'm interested, Sageheart... a little slow, but interested. I've got two more Sewer rat markers not spoken for, or we can discuss something different. What kind of markers do you have in mind?

Sorry for not coming through, I will be making a chaos (well, SM) marker soon.
It'll be a chaos marine, missing his legs, holding up a weapon in defiance to whatever cut his legs off.
On a scenic (termie) snow-covered base. With blood splatters of course

Made some good progress on Gretar's Salamander objective last night. Got the lava itself painted (for the most part anyway) and the plinth done. Will be painting the cobbles next & then come back over it all to add details, "glow" effects, shading & shadows, etc. Lastly the plinth itself will get some appropriately shrine-like decor.
