Actually they aren't redshirts... I've never stepped foot in a GW store in 20+ years of playing 40k. These are the local competitive gamers who do the tourney circuit.

Still, I don't claim the are the end-all & know-all, but they have been a very reliable source of information up to this point.

Well, for my own armies, I tend to make objectives on whatever 5 like-sized bases I have.. be they 40mm, round 25, or even the square ones..

No one has objected yet.

That would be fine with me... I don't think the size is as important as the fact that all of your objectives are the same size... thats where the inequity would come in.

I use those bright green GW flags (Yes, I will actually participate in this great cause at some point and rectify this situation!) and they aren't even 25mm Stick out in photographs though... But nowhere near as awesome as what you guys are all doing! Keep up the good work, hope to join you soon...

Actually if you look in the Apoc book they use anything from 25mm to a friggin titan head as objective markers, so I dont think there is a set size. That being said, all the tournies I've been to (both of em) used 40mm sized objectives.

I want to get into this eventually, once I scrounge up some cool bits and/or sculpt some cool stuff.

Interestingly enough, Da Boss has plans for San Fran next year - though I may need to start working on her now to be allowed to bring Da Dark Angelz across the pond...

Awesome objectives on here. As has already been said a bunch of times....I'll check my bitz and get some markers up here for trade.

Okay guys! It was really sunny today and I didn't want to miss the chance to prime all the objective at once, so I quicly assembled one extra and was about to go out priming them.. and then the first drops started falling..

So I guess I'm hand priming them then.. pictures tomorrow

Like I said, I took some pics of my markers and here they are. Mostly build of scratch and unused stuff.

I need to prime and paint your objective TGG. I dont have a picture at the moment as i cant seem to find the cameras usb cord. Soo ill probably get a pic up later when i find that. I made a jetbike pilot thats been pinned under his bike after he was shot down. Sorry it took so long. Im going to try and have it done by this weekend. Do you want it in any certain color scheme? Or should i just match it too my DE? (red)

Matching the color would be cool, or if you got the itch to try some other colors... whatever you decide. I'm anxious to see him now. I'll try and get some painting done on your marker this weekend too. Which one did you want, again?

Either the Second one that is kinda lookin stuck in the pipe or the third on that is poppin outta the ground. Whichever you want to paint is fine. I like them both
